Repentance is a WoW Machinima series I began back in March. The setting is an alternate Azeroth, where the burning legion has conquered Northrend and is preparing for a second large assault on all of Azeroth.
At the time of this project, I'm currently working on the last episode of the first season. I plan to take a larger break after that and prepare a full script for season 2. For that season, I wish to add selfmade music, animation and most importantly: voices.
The series have a steady following on Warcraftmovies, while also being available from my youtube channel. If you're interested in participating in a longer project, which will span over several months, do give one of the characters a shot down below.

Just letting you know that new characters have been added to the project; both male and female.
For some of you, I've delibarately not casted you for your attempted roles, cause I figured you may be more suited for the ones I've now added. Give them a go and I will cast accordingly very soon!

Congratulations to the cast members so far! If you haven't been casted yet, don't worry, there's a fair chance I haven't gotten around to checking your audition yet and it's highly likely that your voice is perfect for one of the roles. Additional roles will be added shortly, as soon as it has been decided for good that they'll be in the final script. Keep a look out, as your voice may be perfect for one of the upcoming roles.

Earonn Felwinter is a high ranking officer within the burning legion. As his former superior, Ruthandius, has been neutralized by the heroes of Azeroth, Earonn has become the active leader of the legion's campagin in Nothrend. Decieving and more tactical than any of his legion brothers, Earonn will do whatever it takes for him to serve the legion... As long as they keep their promise of curing his little sister.
Voice: Rough, sarcastic tone
Role-type: Primary antagonist.
[Irittated, demeaning] "When you stare at the legion, you see only an evil that must be put to rest. What if I told you our motives are pure? That we desire peace and order for the entirety of the cosmos? You meddle with matters beyond your understanding!"
[Sad] "Caeline... I promise you that this will not be our final day together. No matter what happens, know that you will be well again. I will do whatever it takes to make it so....."
Pronounced Ta-Oh-Ki
Taochi is an old and wise pandaren, who lived peacefully in Pandaria for many years. When his daughter by choice died because of the horde/alliance conflict, he dedicated his life to live a life of adventure and exploration, as he promised his now dead daughter long ago. Taochi is dead in season 2, but will reappear continuously through flashbacks and other odd scenarios.
Voice: Old with a typical pandaren accent. Accent can be excused, if the voice by it self feels old and believable enough.
Role-type: Minor role. Will have several small appearances.
{Weak, dying] "Cough, cough... Fear not, my child. There's no greater joy, than dying for those with a pure heart"
[Weak, dying, happy] "It is no use, Durak... Go... Live your life and make the world better, than how it was when you came into it. Your father would want that"
Velen is the ancient-old leader of the draenei. In season 2, He's an active part of the effort to destabilize the burning legion and bring peace to Azeroth, yet the prophet must also fight his own battles within his ranks.
Voice: As close to Velen's original voice actor. If it proves too difficult, go for an old, but somewhat light and formal voice.
Role-type: medium-important role, which will have quite a few appearances throughout the season.
[Inspiring] "For eons we have stood against the legion. For eons we did not relent and nor did they. But sometimes wars cannot be fought with valor. Sacrifice must be made, at times, atrocities.To do the right thing, sometimes means we must do what, to some, is the worst of evil doings. But this is our struggle as mortals... To walk the line between good and evil. It is our endless conflict; Our timeless Repentance.One day you will take up arms yourself... One day not so far from now"
[Sad] "He is free to roam as he pleases"
Widow of the dead former warchief Thrall and mother to Durak, Aggra has become a fighting force to be reckoned with. As of season 1, her identity is kept secret and although she's near Durak for longer periods of time, something is stopping her from revealing her identity to her son.
Voice: Dark, rough and cold as an orc should be.
Role-type: Relatively unexplored in season 1, but will have a personal story-arc in this upcoming series of episodes.
[Convincing] "The legion is not unlike us. They have a goal and the means that they will exploit to reach it. We can't possibly begin to oppose the legion, before we understand that they're not an ultimate evil. No one, not even the legion, thinks themselves the villains"
When Tirion died, little did he know that the ashbringer was handed over to the least responsible paladin in recent memory. James has a hard time accepting his title as ashbringer and despite having always wanted a life without poverty, he doesn't like the burden that he has been given. He's a joker and uses humor to hide his inner demons.
Voice: Energetic, medium-low and full of charisma.
Role-type: Main character in season 1. Arguably main character along with Durak in the upcoming series of episodes.
[Angry, sarcastic] "Oh, thats clever... Right as the great foul one meets his maker, he cowers like a dog. How many times have you returned to the living? Two times? Three? You're like one third of a cat!I will make sure that there's no body for you to return to next time around"
[Sad] "You died on a thursday afternoon. The sound as you hit the ground... It is something I will remember 'till the day I die. You told me that I'd one day become the man Tirion envisioned, when he gave me the ashbringer.You were wrong. I will never become as selfless as him or as you... But I will honor your memory. I will fight and I will do my part for Azeroth... right until the day I die. You will not be forgotten. Your friend, forever and ever...James"
[Angry] "Any last words, you piece of shit?!"
Durak is the son of Thrall and Aggra and is now a young adult orc. Raised by humans, draenei and other alliance races, Durak is quite unlike most of his kind. He has a deep hatred to the Burning Legion, who killed his father and mentor Taochi.
Voice: Rough, considering he's an orc. His young age is somewhat noticable from his oddly light voice, in comparison to typical orcs.
Role-type: Arguably the main character.
[Irritated] Varedis is the result of everything wrong with this world. He, who sacrificed everything for pure power, is not to be trusted. You of all people should know that, James.
[Slight frustration] "We blow this entire cave to the ground. The world is better without the likes of him"
Caeline Fairwinter is a high elf spellcaster and a member of a secret mage-society, attempting to open a portal to a very special location within the twisting nether. As her brother Earonn has become a high ranking legion officer, Caeline will do everything in her power to cure him of his corruption, as well as all other demons she can get her hands on.
Voice: Somewhat rough for a high elf. Any interpretation of this is fine.
Role-type: Large, story-meaningful role. Will not appear before well into the season, however.
[Surprised, awed] "For one so impeccably insecure, you hold powers unlike anyone I've ever met. Perhaps, after all these years, we've finally found our one true savior"
[Calm, sad] "Many years ago, my brother Earonn abandoned his duty in his search to cure my illness. Little did he know that such unconditional devotion is the perfect recipe for fel-corruption"
Varedis Felsoul is a former demon hunter, who was ressurected by Kil'jaeden the deciever to become an unstoppable demon of pure power. Killed yet again by his former demon hunter brothers, he was ressurected by Darion Mograine, making him the first demon hunter/death knight/demon on Azeroth. Varedis was a secondary antagonist in season 1 and will have a large role as well in the upcoming season.
Voice: Dark, twisted with the typical death knight effect (Not required, as I can add it myself]
Role-type: Nearly a main character. Has a personal story arc and will feature in every episode.
[Calm] "The legion has always expected its forces to be loyal 'till death. The only way to catch the great Ruthandius by surprise, was to dedicate my very being to commit unspeakable atrocities"
[Philosophical, calm] "Pain is such a weird concept. Our minds telling us to stop causing harm to our bodies. Our minds are stupid; for how often is that damage self-inflicted?When we're exposed to such pain, we find out just how powerless we really are... And you, Ruthandius - You're about to experience true pain"
Lonika Stillblade is the leader of a now inactive rogue academy. When the legion invaded, she dropped her personal desires and prepared her entire academy to fight the legion in Northrend. She's determined, cold and has a deep hatred for anyone doing anything for personal gain.
Voice: Formal and light. An accent, specifically a british accent, would be perfect.
Role-type: Relatively unexplored in season 1, but will have a personal story-arc in this upcoming series of episodes.
[Sad] "Ashbringer... Now that we're here... What do we do? I was to come here with an army and now... Now we have nothing. How can we ever hope to stop the legion?"
Vheros is a mage with an unclear and so far unexplored past. in season 1 he appeared out of nowhere to help the rest of the protagonists. in the upcoming season, Vheros' true motives will become clear and it may be more grim than what is to be expected.
Voice: Light and formal, prefferably with an accent. An old wise feel to it.
Role-type: Relatively unexplored in season 1, but will have a personal story-arc in this upcoming series of episodes.
[Curious] "You sound more and more like Taochi. After so many years, why?"
[Convincing] "Varedis is not like you and me. He's not like anyone. Demon hunters are stripped of most core emotions. Death knights have none at all. Demons have no grasp of empathy. As he stands each and every one of them, he has only one thing on his mind: his goal. And his goal, while the means are horrendous, is quite honorable."
Ruthandius is an eredar lord and one of the highest ranked officers in the burning legion. He's cruel and tactical, with a much better sense of deception, than most of his fellow legion brethren. The primary antagonist in season 1, but will have a more subtle and less present role in the upcoming season.
Voice: Demonic, cold and dark. Effects are encouraged to emphasize his demonic nature, but is not necessary.
Role-type: Minor role. Will have several small appearances.
[Angry, threatening] "Let me go, you imbecil! The legion will smite you all and you will be the last to leave this pathetic world!"
