[Reopened] Next Top Singer Season 10

Project Overview

Next Top Singer (previously "YouTube Idol") is a singing competition with 9 completed seasons so far. We start with casting episodes where the 3 judges comment and vote yes or no on the auditions and give scores. After, the accepted contestants compete with different themes in each round - even a group theme! Each contestant gets honest feedback and scores every round. A number of contestants are eliminated in each round until the winner remains.

Since season 5 we have had "live" deliberations so you can actually hear how the judges argue and get to the decision and see individual votes. Since the 2019 season there's a money prize. The winner of season 10 will get $300 from the judges.

How to audition:

Please read "Rules for first auditions". I recommend that you read all of the rules though, except rules for judges. Then audition via CCC, email, or Discord.

DEADLINE: May 7. If the info panel says anything else, it is wrong. (CCC usually changes the deadlines by itself.)

The competition (round 2) starts in June.

    Behind the scenes audio from the two 3 hour sessions we recorded for round 1. So it's massive, but it's still heavily cut! May be remotely interesting for other people at some parts. XD You could always listen and multitask! I also added AI voices since we didn't record at all times when we should've, so I recreated it to the best of my memory...     Thank you everyone for all of the wonderful auditions! We got no less than 159 valid* auditions! Which is more than we've ever gotten, super exciting!
    So please wait patiently while we prepare comments and scores - and most are going to have to get text comments as opposed to video comments due to time constraints! But you can expect all results to be released about 1-2 weeks before the round 2 deadline. (Which is June 4.) So, sometime between May 21-28, depending on if we're really close to finishing another episode, then we'll wait a little more, or if we haven't managed to finish all comments and scores yet.

While it says English, you can sing in any language.

Your audition will likely be posted on Youtube. If you don't want it posted, say so, or just omit any of the information that we asked for in rule 3. But you would miss getting scored and feedback for round 1.
