Dennis is a lazy, grey, diesel shunter. He has a twin named Norman.
Dennis is considered to be a very lazy diesel who tries to take advantage of others and depend on them to do his work instead. Dennis will often create excuses to get out of work, but usually gets caught in his lies and always says sorry - but whether or not he means it is the question.

Dunbar is a diesel-electric hybrid shunting engine from Chuggington. He works on The Transatinian Main Line as a freight diesel. He sometimes shunts in various yards and junctions across Transatinia.
Dunbar has a strong work ethic and acts as a mentor for the younger engines. When an engine has low confidence, Dunbar encourages them to keep on trying. He is full of helpful tips and advice and takes pride in his position of shunter, making sure every engine gets the right rolling stock for each train.

Good morning, young chuggers! Today, we're doing a training exercise!
I'll just get this delivered to the foundry. Then, I'll head to the repair shed.
Well done, Koko! That's the ticket.
Dusty Crophopper is a world famous air racer who used to just dust crops back home on the mainland. He can be seen hanging around at Gilbert Airfield or the Transatinia Airport, when he's not flying around either working on his speed, racing planes and helicopters, or just simply taking in the scenery.
Dusty is brave and courageous, although he was formerly afraid of heights. He eventually overcomes this.

King K. Rool, or just simply K. Rool for short, is the king of the Kremling clan.
A big, burly crocodile, King K. Rool is the egocentric head of the Kremlin Munitions Factory, the largest munitions factory on the whole island. With contracts to make munitions for the U.S.goverment and it's navy, as well as contracts to deliver to Kronkton Harbour, Welker Harbour or one of the locations on the Kisara Canal, he keeps an iron fist on his company's activities and expects everything to go according to plan. What the rest of the company's team lacks in business, King K. Rool has tenfold.
Unfortunately, K. Rool is quite orderly as he is malicious for a majority of the time, and his megalomaniac ways of trying to expand the company's businesses to other quarries, mines and construction companies land him into more trouble than he expected. But if K. Rool is ever seen in the hills along the canal or in the Draco Blu Gorge areas, you can bet he'll be after the most fabled and legendary treasure on the whole of the island : The Dragon's Eye.

Sheffield is a rather blunt but work-ready engine. He has a brother named Glen.
When Sheffield arrived on Transatinia with his brother, he was given a trial run. When he was on the verge of being sent away for being rude, he helped Montana when he got stuck on Highlee Hill, he proved his worth to stay on the railway.

Snowy is an Alolan Vulpix owned by Lillie.
Snowy, when hatched, is a very curious and naive Pokémon due to her young age, but she also started off as a bit shy around others, and even gave Ash her version of a cold shoulder when he tried to pet her by freezing him with her Powder Snow to keep everyone away from her. However, over time she learned to appreciate everyone and everything around her, including Ash. Although, when she first came to Transatinia with Lillie, her nervousness came right back when she first encountered a non faceless vehicle, and wouldn’t leave the new Aether Manor near Welker Harbour in fear of encountering what Lillie called “heavy metal monsters”. But when she and Lillie helped save Montana from getting into a severe accident during one of the island's annual Founder's Day celebrations, both soon became friends with most of them.
Snowy can also be naughty at times, such as freezing Lillie to show her affection.

The Red Express Coaches are one of the sets of coaches that are used on the main line. Some of them are used on the mainland.
These coaches were sentient despite not having faces. Like many coaches, they do not appreciate being bumped by an engine and if they are not handled properly, they can get back at their engine.

This position is for those who are a master at modeling characters and building them through MMD, and I mean any character from human to machine. This will also include generic human/creatures (like farm or zoo animals) and ordinary vehicles, rolling stock, etc. in addition to building layouts of locations from blueprint pictures and regular pictures. Oh, and help animate scenes for episodes, shorts and music videos from time to time.

For this position, we want excitement and adventure for these characters, at least when it comes to the episodes and specials. For the shorts, we’d like clean, but family friendly comedy. After all, Islandside Adventures is a family friendly YouTube show. For PSA videos, they should be educational.
Also, you need to be willing to do research on whichever character is scheduled to appear in each upcoming story on the series Wiki site. Most of the characters are not original, so you might have to go to a character’s original wiki site, like Thomas on https://ttte.fandom.com/ or Dawn on https://pokemon.fandom.com/, and stuff like that if necessary.

For this position, many of our O.Cs (while their basis and designs are planned) don’t have any liveries yet, so your task will be to help choose what their liveries will be. In other words, take the characters’ original basis’ and designs and simply paint them in different colors until you think they are in a suitable color scheme and look perfect and share them with the group.

Tracy is a small shunting engine owned by the Dream Fleet Rail Co.
Tracy is the youngest member of the True Blue Steam Team, who joined Transatinia when her owners, the Dream Fleet Rail Co., chose to expand their operations on Transatinia, having served them from the neighboring United States for a good few years. Like Tillie, she's a determined engine, but since she's still rather young, her innocent ways and naïve nature can get her into trouble when trying to tackle larger jobs! However, she makes up for it for her dedication, hard work, determination, and cheerful enthusiasm. She frequently travels with Patrick on her mail runs, where she runs from the Transatinian Mail Depot all the way down the main line, servicing the smaller towns along it.
Morning! Just getting a jump on the day!
But sir? Who's going to take my mail train? The villagers need to get their packages and letters delivered on schedule.
It's simple really. I thought I could!
Alfred, nicknamed Alf from time to time, is an American mixed traffic engine who is always kind hearted, and is always willing to take on any job that needs doing, from hauling stone from the quarry to taking passenger trains. He's even willing to fetch his own train, which is something some engines like Gordon or Farnsworth would NEVER do!
Clear the tracks! Express freight coming through!
Morning Speedy! I've come to collect my delivery of stone for the docks!
Thanks Cormac! Next stop : Foxton Junction.

Arry and Bert (also known as Iron 'Arry and Iron Bert) are two diesel shunters from The Island Of Sodor.
'Arry and Bert are unquestionably devious and scheming. They feel superior to steam engines and working at the scrap yards, they enjoy the chance to break up engines or at least make their lives more difficult. Due to their grim task, they have earned a reputation on Sodor as "The Grim Messengers of Doom".
However, despite their prejudices, the diesels have cooperated with steam engines on occasions and when they are in trouble, steam engines often come to the rescue.

Arthur is a big maroon tank engine from The Island of Sodor.
Arthur is a big tank engine who has never been naughty in his life because he is quite a cautious engine, because of this he has gained a "spotless record" and so he is responsible for some pretty important roles on Transatinia's railway. He mainly shunts trucks and pulls goods trains. Arthur can be a bit naïve however and after a jealous Thomas tricked Arthur into setting his standards too high with the trucks, his record did not stay as spotless as he had hoped. Arthur aims to please in his work and he enjoys the sea air and the smell of the fish.
Stop singing! Trucks should do as they are told!
The trucks were singing. I told them to stop, but they made me go too fast.
Thank you! I wish I had the fishing village line all the time!
Azul is a small tender engine who lives at Greendale Valley Sheds in Greendale Valley and works on the Greendale Valley Railway.
Azul, a little Hispanic locomotive, isn't as busy as some of the other engines, but he still works hard with his deliveries of passengers and freight as he travels up and down the branch line he works on alongside Bonnie, Terry and The Greendale Rocket. He sometimes helps out on The Transatinian Main Line on small job jobs. He's especially proud of his big whistle, which he won in a big railway race back on his home railway in Mexico.
He's somewhere between a child and a preteen when it comes to age.

Belle, sometimes known as Princess Belle, is an apprentice driver.
Belle may look as her name suggests, but there's more than her face that's beautiful about her. Belle is extremely knowledgeable, imaginative, and open-minded, thanks to years and years of a love for reading. Belle doesn't let anyone boss her around and isn't afraid to stand up for herself. She is confident, witty, and compassionate, always ready to help anyone who is in need.
Belle has been recently training on Transatinia to be a railway driver, looking for new adventures and ways to help around the community. She has often worked with Chugs, and helps him stay on track for work with the mail trains and freight deliveries.

With a shovel-grabber on his front and a backhoe shovel on his rear, Benny is equipped for anything that his little framework can squeeze into. Bertie is a single decker bus from The Island of Sodor.
Bertie is a small friendly bus. He can be quite boastful to the engines saying that roads are better than railways, especially to Thomas who he frequently attempts to have races with. He can sometimes be quite grumpy whenever he breaks down or gets stuck, he grumbles about it. But all the same, he does this for fun and he will always be there to help the engines when they are in need.
I'll race you, Thomas! The first one to the station is the winner!
Well done, Thomas! That was fun. But to beat you over that hill, I should have to grow wings and be an aeroplane.
Oh, that's alright, Thomas! I like to make new friends, but I'm glad to share them with you!
Big Freighter Pete is a strong medium sized tender engine who usually pulls freight trains.
Big Freighter Pete had once looked down at smaller engines like Tillie and Tracy the same way Farnsworth still does to this very day. But ever since Tillie managed to get the birthday train over the mountain on their old line on the mainland despite the dangers she was faced with, it changed his perspective on all little engines, knowing they aren’t such little engines as he first thought. He often shows off his strength by pulling trains of 15 freight cars up and down The Transatinian Main Line, sometimes going all the way to Trenton.
Careful kid. Don't bust your boiler.
Yeah, yeah. Where to today, boss?
Nothing to it, boss. Be back in a flash.
Big Old Rusty is an elderly tank engine who not only is one of the oldest engines on Transatinia, but is also one of the best storytellers ever!
The oldest of the Dream Fleet locos, Big Old Rusty is like a mentor and grandpa to young Tracy and the other Dream Fleet engines. With a ton of experience and knowledge on the railway, Rusty is often the first called in when there's a crisis. He's often entrusted with goods work on the railway, but will occasionally take passenger trains.
His age is somewhere between Middle Age and Senior
Hey! Watch it you two! I had the right of way!
Hey there, C Jr. How're things?
Ahh, now that's a relief. You came just in time. We're just a quarter hopper away from being empty.
Timothy "Big Tim" Timken is a diesel engine who often pulls long freight trains along The Transatinian Main Line.
Timothy "Big Tim" Timken is one of the longer (but short heighted) diesels on the Transatinian Main Line, and one of the few fitted with a big booster unit! Back in the 50's, Big Tim was the talk of the railyards and workshops in America! His revolutionary roller bearings, that prevented "Kid Friction" from creating a hot box, were a big help to mending problems with the rail cars and engines! Nowadays, they don't seem as special, but Big Tim doesn't mind nor seem too conceited about it. He's just happy to roll along his fine little rails, hauling loads of freight up and down the line. He's still got hints of the over-excitement and jovial attitude from his young days, but he's still a hard worker, and will be on hand to keep the freight of Transatinia running on time no matter what.

BoCo is a mixed traffic diesel engine from The Island Of Sodor.
BoCo is a tame diesel engine, who is sensible, kind, and has a decent sense of humour. Upon his arrival on Sodor, he was unfortunate enough to be set upon by the mischievous Bill and Ben, when, thinking he had intentionally stolen their trucks, they pretended to be one engine and nearly made his eyes pop out. BoCo is now wise to the tank engine twins' pranks though he still somewhat humors them to a point. He is also good friends with Bill, Ben, Edward, and Duck. He is a true friend and is often willing to stick up for the underdog. BoCo is firm, but fair and friendly in his nature, not being afraid to speak his mind. Even Gordon soon thought of him in high regards when he "saved" him from Bill and Ben's antics. BoCo upholds a more praiseworthy and respectable, likeable image for diesel engines everywhere, being happy to show the more pompous steam engines that diesels have their uses. BoCo pulls either branch line or main line trains, as Sir Topham Hatt recognizes how versatile he is.
Nevermind. Call me BoCo. I'm sorry I didn't understand about the cars.
Ah well. It's just a knack.
Stop quarreling you two, or the only thing you'll have left to share is...(pause)...trouble!
Bradford is a brake van who usually works with Samson on The Northern Coastline Railway.
Bradford is an officious and strict brake van who adheres to every railway rule, no matter how minor the rule might be. Although he means well and does his best to keep the trucks in order, his overzealous attitude makes his trains commonly run very late. Because of this, the engines find him annoying. He is also quite conceited, as he claimed he knew how much the engines "appreciated" him. Despite his usual rigidity, Bradford also has a caring side, as shown when he tried to help Samson overcome his intense fear of fireworks.
(quickly) Right you horrible lot - I'm in charge now! So no bumping and none of your cheek!
Not on my watch, matey! This is now a bump free zone! Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
When you're ready, Thomas.
Calley is a small brave rescue chugger.
Calley is a brave rescue engine who serves as the right-hand "chugger" to Jackman, Chief's Engine to the Transatinian Search and Rescue Force. Brave, motherly, and always out to help others, Calley is always encouraging other engines to do their best, and never to put themselves down whenever things go awry. Calley is often placed in charge of special details when rescues aren't about, such as delivering emergency supplies to stations or shunting equipment in the HQ's Yards. When she's not doing that, she's shunting in one of the regular yards and depots.

Charlie is a playful purple engine who often pulls goods trains on The Northern Coastline Railway.
Charlie, a known joker to all from The Island of Sodor, is the "new kid on the block" for the Northern Coastline Railway team. Under the eye of Skipper Stu, Charlie sometimes works with Russ, Harry and Hamish along the dockyard at either Welker Harbour or Kronkton Harbour, taking care of shunting cars and coaches for everyone's trains. Other times, he takes freight to one of the stops along the branch. He's known for his cheesy and practical jokes, but some engines don't take kindly to him. Still, he's a well-trusted and funny friend to many engines, and is always ready to help out whenever it is needed.

Dawn is a young, blue-long-haired Pokémon Coordinator who traveled through the Sinnoh region along with Ash and Brock. Dawn started her journey at the age of 10, honing her skills as a Pokémon Trainer and focusing on becoming a Top Coordinator like her mother, Johanna. She lives up in Anderson City, along with Serena and her host parents, Ash and Delia Ketchum, Misty and her host parents, as well as her own host parents.
Dawn is very confident in her abilities, though not to the same extent as Ash. She often gets emotional when she loses, and Ash and Brock often helped her to cope with that. When she lost two contests in a row, not managing to get through the first round of appeals, she became very depressed. However, she regained her confidence after she won the Wallace Cup, along with a new found sense of maturity. She is also very sensitive and supportive of her friends. A clear example of that occurred when she worked on a cheerleading recital to help Ash feel better after he fell into depression following his humiliating defeat at the hands of one of his bitter rivals, Paul. She also appears to be quite quick-tempered sometimes.

Derek is a diesel who is known for his initial "teething" troubles.
Derek is a jolly, enthusiastic diesel engine, who was once brought in to assist Bill, Ben, and BoCo at the China Clay quarry on The Island Of Sodor. Unfortunately, due to his engine, he is highly prone to teething troubles, namely overheating and suffering frequent breakdowns, for which he is apologetic for the inconvenience. As a result, he spends many a day having his engine tended to. Which is unfortunate since he really wants to work hard. But Derek is a likeable chap and even Bill and Ben decided that they liked him due to his friendly nature. Derek has an infectious charisma, is keen to help anyone around him, and has a passion for sorting things out in a jiffy - if his cooling system lets him.
Hello! I'll soon sort this train out. You pull from the front and I'll push from the back. What fun.

Diesel 10 is a diesel engine who works for B.U.R. Industries and the Finbar Scrapyards.
The scrap diesel of the Finbar Scrapyards, Diesel 10 is known to be a big bully. With a massive hydraulic claw on his roof, his main job around the scrapyard and railway is to pick up scrap and load it up, but he also handles heavy goods and demolition work. He may come off as intimidating, but will often bring about his own downfall in a goofy manner! Despite his mean exterior though, he's got a good streak deep down in his engine.

Hannah is a coach that sometimes travels with Toby along the Anderson City and Medvigy Branch Line. She is Henrietta's sister.
Hannah is rowdy, excitable, and near-maniacal, loving to fly down the line at high speeds. However, after tagging along with James and nearly being torn apart on Sodor, Hannah learned her lesson about going too fast, but her impatience failed to subside. Because of how she likes to get things done fast, her sister often calls her "Hasty Hannah."

Hiro is a Japanese engine, better known as “Master of the Railway”. Currently he works as a mixed-traffic engine, usually delivering passengers and goods between Transatinia and the US mainland, when he's not either back home or working on The Transatinian Main Line.
Hiro is wise, kind and gentle and can always find good things in other engines. He is also strong at heart and always keeps puffing even though he is meeting hardship. He is a good friend of many engines, especially Thomas.
Thomas, my friend. You must not worry. My welcome present is right here. Being here with my friends is the biggest present of all, and the most special present from Sodor, there is nothing more special!

Athletically, Homestar is extremely gifted. In terms of heart, he's got a pretty big one. In terms of brains....well, let's just say he's a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Homestar works odd jobs around Transatinia alongside Strong Bad, with a new job almost every week. One week, he'll be driving an engine to work, the next, he's cleaning boiler sludge out of it. Huey is a small tender engine who pulls small trains along The Transatinian Main Line.
An engine built at the same works as Azul (and also a competitor in the same race that Azul won his whistle), Huey is a little older, but equally excitable about racing along the tracks. He runs along the mainline whether hauling small branch line coaches or a couple of freight cars. He's not as strong as other engines along the mainline, but he still works hard, even though he'll go a little "off track" and race when offered the chance by other engines.

Humphrey is a freight diesel who works on The Transatinian Main Line as a heavy goods engine.
The biggest freight engine of the Dream Fleet, Humphrey is a bit loud, but has an equally big heart. He's nicknamed Tracy "Peanut Roaster", but he only does it in a friendly, teasing manner to the peppy little engine.
(laughing) Oh Rusty! You're too funny!
Besides the general pandemonium and ominous state of affairs? Not a clue.
Mighty impressive, Peanut Roaster.
Isabel and Dulcie are Oliver's coaches. Isabel came with Oliver when they escaped from the Other Railway, and Dulcie was later rescued by Sir Topham Hatt and given to Oliver to help run The Little Western and are usually pulled by him on the Northern Coastline Railway.
Oliver says Isabel is very clever, as she always keeps a good look out when he pushes his trains and can't see where he's going, and talks to him with her bell. He finds them to be funny coaches, and believes that they would not know what to do without him. Despite what Oliver thinks, they are very faithful to him and are easily able to see when he's headed for trouble.
Just listen to him! Just listen to him!
He's proud, he's conceited, and he's heading for trouble! I can feel it in my frames!

Jinty and Pug are two LMS tank engines from British Railways. They are old close friends of Percy. Jinty works as a goods engine and shunter on Northern Coastline Railway while Pug works as a part time shunter at Welker Harbour.
They are usually friendly and polite engines, seeing as they said hello to Percy upon arrival and Jinty was willing to help Thomas after his accident on Sodor before he and the other famous Sudrian Engines went to England.
Hello Percy!
Hooray! Hooray!
Don't worry, Thomas. I'll have you back on the rails in no time.

Katy Caboose is Tootle's own caboose.
Tootle's trusty caboose, who accompanies Tootle on both passenger and goods trains. Katy is much more responsible with work than Tootle, and often acts as his guide around the railways. Katy cares greatly for Tootle and doesn't like staying away from him for long, but she is willing to call him out when he does things wrong. Katy acts as a big sister to Tootle, guiding the young engine she always travels with through tough times and mistakes he must overcome. She's patient and very tolerant around everyone, even the toughest engine. Overall, she's kind, gentle, and the perfect companion for young Tootle.

Lillie is a Pokémon trainer from the Alola region. She's sometimes seen exploring Transatinia, with friends, her family, or going solo, when she's not attending school that is. She has a friendly Pokémon companion called Snowy, an Alolan Vulpix.
Lillie is a girl who loves Pokémon but was unable to touch them after moving away to another mansion with Lusamine and Gladion after an accident with an Ultra Beast back in Alola. In time however, she managed to get over her fear of Pokémon thanks to her friends and family, and is finally able to touch them again without being scared of them.
When she first came to Transatinia for the first time when the Welker Oceanic Institute was being built, she got a bit nervous around the non faceless and sentient vehicles everywhere she went, especially the engines. But soon became friends with most of them after she helped save Montana from getting into a severe accident during one of the island's annual Founder's Day celebrations.

The nervous worrywart of Bob's crew, Lofty is a mobile crane with a hook-load of shyness and a scientific way of thinking. He has the distinction of being able to be fitted with various attachments for special jobs, like a grabber claw, a wrecking ball, a deep-digger drill, and a magnet.

Marion is a railway steam shovel from The Island of Sodor.
Marion is very enthusiastic and is happy to share her knowledge, and her love of digging, to the other engines. She is very talkative which can get on other engines' nerves.
Despite her enthusiastic demeanor, she can also be a pretty level headed mother figure to Bill and Ben.
(singing (Be sure it's in the same beat and rhythm as heard in Tale of the Brave)) I like to dig up. I like to dig down. I like to dig up treasure that's never been found. Do you dig digging, like I dig digging. I do. I do. I really really do.
Goodness gracious me! I found something!
Eeeeeeeeeek! Look out! Look out! Steam shovel coming through!
Mavis is a quarry diesel shunter from The Island of Sodor.
Mavis was arrogant and did not take advice very well. She was mostly interested in her own ideas, but was brought down to earth after her embarrassing incident at a crossing. With a little help from Toby, she now finds better ways to be really useful and knows more about handling and arranging trucks. Mavis is a reliable, honest, and hard-working engine.
Unusually for a diesel, Mavis shows respect for the steam engines, and unlike most engines, hauling trucks makes her feel important.
Mavis has now fully matured, and acts as a motherly figure to the other engines.
It was my fault about those cars, sir. But if I could-. Come down the line sometimes, Sir? Toby says he'll show me what to do.

Maximus, formally known as either Class 40 or The Diesel, is one of Arnold Finbar’s diesels.
Maximus, as one of the biggest engines in Arnold Finbar’s private fleet of railway engines, is often pulling really heavy goods trains from the B.U.R. Shipping Co. or pulling really long passenger trains along The Transatinian Main Line.
Maximus is snobbish and rude, believing that diesel engines are superior and should take over from steam engines, with the steam engines on the Finbar team as the only acceptations.

Montana is a big and strong American express engine who pulls an express train from Kronkton City Station to Anderson City Central and across to the mainland to Trenton and/or Grand Central Station in New York.
An older, safety-keen streamlined locomotive with a fine blue, orange, and yellow livery, Montana is always looking over the crew like a proud and concerned dad, always warning them "Bewa-aaa-re! Take ca-aaaa-re!". His main job is running The Mainland Express, an express train running from Kronkton City to Anderson City to the United States, all the way up to New York!

Nia is an Kenyan tank engine who moved to the Island of Sodor from Africa. She helps out with mixed traffic services on the Transatinian Tourist Branch while occasionally helping out on the Anderson City and Medvigy Branch Line.
Nia is an adventurous and fun engine who teaches Thomas about friendship. Whether she is in her homeland of Africa or travelling around the world, Nia is positive and thoughtful. Her eagerness to help can sometimes irritate her friends, but her truthfulness and kind heart always win them over. She is a good problem solver, although she once had trouble reading numbers until Annie and Clarabel helped her.
Two engines are much better than one, you know!
I know change can be hard, Gordon. Almost everything in my life has changed. I'm in a new country, on a new railway, trying to make new friends. And all my old friends are much farther away than Henry and Edward are going to be. And you know something else? (pause for a few seconds) My old friends are still my friends.

Oliver is a Great Western auto-tank engine who works on The Northern Coastline Railway with Duck and Yaemon.
Oliver is a hard-working tank engine who, with Duck, runs the Coastline Branch. Alongside his brakevan Toad and his two autocoaches Isabel and Dulcie, he's often tasked with local passenger duties (starting with picking up and dropping off passengers and workmen at either Welker or Kronkton) and goods work on the coastal railway. Although he can be a little overconfident at times, he's aware of his role on the railway, and will admit that each and every day can be somewhat of a new lesson for him. He especially enjoys his runs from Welker Harbour, passing by the marinas and coastline towns that are located along the route.
If it wasn't for Douglas' help, I might have been caught when I ran away from the scrapyard, and I would never have come to live here on Sir Topham Hatt's Railway.
You're quite right, Toad. All I do is shunt these cars onto the turntable. I long for a nice run. It's what an engine really needs.
Hmm! Getting lost can be interesting, but being found is much nicer. Especially if it makes an engine feel really useful.
Patrick is a caboose that usually works with either Tracy or Shelbert.
Patrick can be what is called a deadpan snarker. He's a cynical van who might not have the utmost respect for the engines he works with; perhaps because he feels he's overlooked most of the time. Despite this, Patrick is a good-natured wagon, even if it doesn't show at first, and does have a sense of friendliness to him, although he might also be the one to panic when things go haywire on the railway.
He has a deep tone similar to legendary VA, Patrick Warburton, known for voicing Joe Swanson on 'Family Guy' and Kronk from 'The Emperor's New Groove', among many others.
Oh sure, go ahead. Leave me behind. Everybody else does.
Tell me about it.
See ya kid.
Paxton is a young diesel shunter from the Island of Sodor.
Paxton is a young, gentle diesel who often works on or around Transatinia. He is good-hearted and well meaning, but gullible, naïve and easily misled. He also has a short attention span. He tends to be more of a follower than a leader and can sometimes find thinking for himself and making big decisions difficult. This may result in him being pressured into a situation he might not necessarily be comfortable with. However, if a friend is in trouble, Paxton will have the conscience and the self-assertion to do what he feels is right. As a result, the steam engines find that he is likeable and Paxton particularly looks up to Thomas at times. He also works alongside the narrow gauge engines frequently at Whitestone Mountain Quarry. However, Paxton can easily misjudge situations, misplace his trust in someone who might not have everyone's best interests at heart, particularly Diesel and is rather impressionable, but his good nature will ultimately show him for who he really wants to be.

Philip is a little diesel box cab from The Island of Sodor who helps shunt in the various industrial and shunting yards across Transatinia.
Philip is a little diesel boxcab engine with a big personality. Philip is a comic character and a bit of a class clown. He is very eager and full of enthusiasm and he has an innocent, but very overblown sense of his own capabilities. Philip can be very funny, but some of the bigger engines have very little patience for the little boxcab, and find him annoying. Philip is strong, fast and likes to hurry about and can constantly boast about it. But Philip's confidence is as big if not bigger than anyone's and he is always willing to try and definitely believes in himself. His actions and attitude soon won him many new friends on Sodor, especially Thomas and Percy, but Gordon and James find his bragging a little hard to accept.
Despite this, Philip can be the exact opposite if he chooses to. He is shown being quiet and enjoying the scenery, just like Toby.
All in all, Philip reminds Edward of Thomas when he first came to Sodor.
See James? I told you I was very strong.
The point is, that you can do anything you want to Thomas, if you just put your mind to it.
S-O-D-O-R! What does that spell?! Sodor!
Rebecca is a large tender engine from the Island of Sodor.
Despite her large size, Rebecca is shy and sometimes clumsy, but not afraid to stand up for herself and is not intimidated by the older engines. At times, she feels the need to be on the same level as the other engines, which can sometimes make her anxious or overhasty. But despite her insecurities, Rebecca loves to see the best in everyone, and all her friends appreciate her kindness and enthusiasm. She also has the uncanny ability to work with Troublesome Trucks without trouble on the first try, something that confuses even the trucks themselves. Because Rebecca is so willing to see the good in others, she can occasionally be gullible, as shown when she fell for one of Diesel's tricks, but she is also very honest, willing to tell the truth if needed.
Hello Sir. And, uh, sorry Sir. I miscalculated how long it would take me to stop...by, uh, quite a lot. (giggles softly and nervously).
My name's Rebecca. And, I don't know why you keep calling Gordon 'little brother'. You look the same size to me. If anything, I think Gordon looks bigger.
Well that might work for you, Gordon, but I have my own way of doing things.

Rudolf is a hard working diesel locomotive from the Normanton and Warwick Railway.
Rudolf is a mixed traffic diesel who is bigger than Diesel but smaller than BoCo. He comes from another railway company located far away.
Rudolf is friendly with all the engines and vehicles, whether they’re steam, diesel, or electric. He’s okay with running along either the main line or one of the branch lines, and he really enjoys pulling long heavy trains along the line and likes to run on time. While he doesn’t like the rain as much as any engine, he always manages to pull through. One thing that tends to annoy him is when the other engines get the Normanton and Warwick Railway and the North Western Railway mixed up and ask if he’s from Sodor, always resulting in him to say "There's more than one NWR out there you know".
He has a slight German/Australian accent.
Whew! I made it.
(groans before speaking) Just great. I get all nice and dry. And now I have to get soaked.
There's more than one NWR out there you know.
Ryan is a purple tank engine from The Island of Sodor. He is seen either pulling goods or passenger trains along either The Transatinian Main Line or The Northern Coastline Railway or shunting at either Welker or Kronkton Harbour.
Ryan is an affable engine, who goes out of his way to be kind and is concerned when he sees others in trouble. Ryan would like to be a hero, but he is not actually as brave as he wishes he was and has a tendency to panic a little in the face of danger. It does not put him off trying though. Ryan is direct and sincere, but he has a good sense of humor too and is not above making a joke at his own expense. Ryan also appears to be somewhat of a pushover, as evidenced by how easily Daisy was able to make him do her work once back on Sodor.
My name is Ryan, and I'll be your engine for the day.

Salty is a diesel shunter who works at Welker Harbour.
Salty is easy-going, friendly and very practical. He also enjoys telling fantasy stories revolving around the sea. His seafaring ways and accent are sometimes ridiculed by the other engines, but his usefulness almost always helps the others overlook that. He can work with trucks like no other engine; this is due to his equal love of music to the trucks. He loves the sea so much that he pines for it when he is away from it for a long time. When he is not shunting at the docks, he can usually be found traveling the coasts helping Ariel with her salvage duties.

Scruff is a small tank engine from The Island of Sodor.
Scruff is a grubby little chap, who runs on steam but has a square diesel like body. He loves getting dirty as he shunts rubbish trucks ready for "scrunching" and he is good friends with Whiff, Irving and Warrior. In fact in his earlier days he has been known to run away from having to get clean. Like a tiny ant, Scruff can be seen carrying his tiny self around busily working in the background. He keeps up a cheerful demeanor to other engines and doesn't give much thought to what people think of him or how messy he can get sometimes.

Sean Coover is the little Station master assistant of Foxton Junction and is one of the shyest people on Transatinia. He can get lonely when working at Foxton when the station master is busy elsewhere, but Serena comes by to give him a hand every now and then.
Sean is a very shy boy and can be easily scared. However the friends he does make will always help him out. He doesn't very much like to be teased or bullied which can hurt his feelings but his friends will always be there for him. He can also be very afraid of the unknown and really doesn't like listening to scary stories. He also has a big fear of Heights, Komodo dragons and Cameras. He can be very shy, but tries very hard to be as friendly as he can. He's also a little bit soft spoken just like Fluttershy.

Shelbert is a freight engine who works on The Transatinian Main Line.
Shelbert is a medium-sized freight engine who also works for the Dream Fleet. Sidney is a very kind, but forgetful blue diesel shunter from the Island of Sodor.
Sidney is a friendly but constantly bungling diesel. This isn't so much because of clumsiness however... it's because Sidney is a very forgetful engine! Thus, he often leaves with a train and forgets where to go with it!
Erm, not very long Percy. I mean...er...I forget.
Yeah, I'm waiting for my wheels. I thing the order's been misplaced.
(singing (as heard in Sidney Sings)) Ha ha ha. He he he. A very special job for me. On the way to Brendam Docks, to fetch a very special box!
Sir Topham Hatt, also nicknamed The Fat Controller, is the part-time manager of the North Western Railway on the Island of Sodor, and the main controller of the Transatinian Railway Co., with Dan Peterson as assistant controller. He's also a father figure to his engines.
Sir Topham Hatt is firm but funny and fair. He can be strict, but with a good reason and he deeply cares about the engines and also shows a fatherly side to them. He is quite a strong character and will remind the engines that he is in charge if they start to rebel against his authority. He does not stand bullying and even though he is usually serious, he does enjoy a good jolly laugh.
Despite his kindness and fairness, however, there are times where Sir Topham Hatt berates the engines for situations beyond their control. Like any son, he does hold a slight bit of respect for his mother, Dowager Hatt. But like all parental relationships, there are some things he finds more personal than others.
Hello, I'm Sir Topham Hatt. I'm the director of the railway. Nothing is more important to me and then engines are being really useful and that means always being on time.
You have cause confusion and delay!!
We'll see about that. Engines on my railway do as they are told.

Sonny is a well-tank engine from The Island of Sodor. He mainly works mixed traffic services on The Transatinian Main Line, the Anderson City and Medvigy Branch Line, and the Northern Coastline Railway while occasionally helping out at the Medvigy Coal Mine beyond Medvigy.
Sonny was originally owned by the two crooks, Baz and Bernie, but later joined the North Western Railway’s fleet. Not much is known about his past, but when he was owned by Baz and Bernie, he was rude and very antisocial. However, when he met Thomas, he turned over a new leaf and set his sights towards a new goal : being really useful. In addition, he refused to do what his former owners wanted him to do. And when Baz and Bernie were arrested for stealing the plans for one of Ruth’s inventions, Sir Topham Hatt took him in as the latest addition to his North Western Railway Fleet.
Sonny is a complicated engine. While a bit of an outsider, he often follows along to whatever orders he has been given from his superiors, unfortunately landing him at the hands of Baz and Bernie's scheming minds. During his time at the ownership of the two thieves, Sonny displayed tendencies to be gruff, sinister and rude, repelling other engines. However, after Thomas helped him on a dairy run and he got praised by Sir Robert Norramby, the well-tank engine turned over a new leaf, standing up to the thieves and working hard to be really useful, as well as willing to tell the truth if needed. Although he is sometimes distrusted for his past sins, Sonny has proven to be trustworthy and reliable, making him a true asset to the North Western Railway's fleet.

Stafford is a humble, courteous little chap with a Yorkshire accent. He is a very different sort of engine from any other on the North Western Railway. This is because Stafford is an electric battery engine; he is not a steam engine or a diesel engine. Stafford is fueled by recharging his battery, which needs to be done frequently so he can go about his work as a shunting engine. Stafford is very patient, calm and mannerly. He does not let the antics of the bigger, haughtier engines bother him too much, keeps level-headed as he goes about his day, and brushes off any troubles without much fuss. He is more than content with taking things slow and not having to travel long distances and he is more than proud to work on Sir Topham Hatt's railway.

Despite this though, she is still willing to help out and can often be seen hauling or travelling around doing odd jobs around the railway!
Morning team. Toots is ready to work!
Ooooh, my aching rivets!
Ouch! My coupling's creaking!
Travis is a tractor who lives up in Cullen Town on the Anderson City and Medvigy Branch Line with his owner Farmer Pickles, delivering produce and livestock either to Cullen Town's hault's or to market. He's sometimes lent to help out at Apple Farm.
Travis is generally mature and smart. He always has a quick-witted comment to give. He's very caring to others, and is very headstrong and hardworking. He's both very busy and very helpful. Sometimes Travis can be sort of insecure, such as when he thinks he can't plow the field unsupervised.
Travis Tractor is my name, packing and moving is my game.

Trevor is a dark green traction engine from The Island of Sodor.
Trevor is a traction engine who gets along with everyone having been one of the friendliest traction engines you could meet. He enjoys basking in the sunshine or dozing in his shed, but easily grows bored and unhappy if he does not have much company or enough work to do. Whenever he's not sawing logs or taking apples from Apple Farm to the townsfolk, he is seen at county fairs giving children rides.
Oh! A harbour! The seaside! Children! That will be lovely!
The Vicar says that not all children are able to have holidays by the sea, so he's having a garden party to raise money for a seaside trip. I'm going to be the star attraction, giving rides to all the visitors. The Vicar is putting up posters all about it.
It's the bees. They're all in these boxy things called beehives. I'm taking them to the station. The Vicar says his bees make good honey and he's giving some of them to his friends.
Trix is a forklift who works at the JJ Suppliers Yard.
Trix, a forklift living at a Supplier's Yard, is very friendly and always on high energy. The latter tends to be a bit of a flaw, however, as she tends to get her work wrong because of her rushing into a situation! But while she has a tendency to make mistakes, Trix is still a valuable member of the yard crew, and is a dear friend to Skip.

Yaemon is an elderly tank engine who works on the Northern Coastline Railway.
An older, much more experienced engine, Yaemon tends to be grumpy, but has a heart of gold! He always works up and down the seaside branch in perfect time, and always tries to give as much advice as he can to the younger workers on the seaside team. He works alongside Oliver, Duck, and Silvermist on the Coastline Branch.
Come on, come on! How much longer will these repairs take?! I want to get back to work as soon as possible! (pause for 3 seconds) Well, you'd be grumpy too if you were trapped in a shed for 25 years!
(sighs) I'm sorry. I'm just really anxious to be really useful once more.
Well youngsters, the advice I can give you is this : take as many cars as you can pull, but not too many. You don't want to end up stalling on the hill.
