Project Overview

Hello!  My name is Dreamless PortalVA, I run a fairly small Youtube channel as a voice actor.  A while ago, I wanted to try getting voice actors together to create a small audio drama/book for the first time.  This story is called "Reading Rainbow" and it is written by the fantabulous Corejo.  "When a freak reading accident causes Twilight to be admitted to the Ponyville hospital, Rainbow Dash is right by her side. Compelled by a sense of duty and repayment, she takes it upon herself to cheer up her friend." - Synopsis.  


When submitting recordings, please do 3 separate takes for each recording.  This helps me gauge the expression that you may be able to perform.  Essentially, how you act.

    Hello! I apologize for the lack of an update, I had just gotten through a rough couple of weeks education as some might say.

    Anyways, I wanted to say congratulations to those have been picked to be the roles. While there are two roles that have not been picked yet, either due to no auditions or that I still need more time to decide. Either way I will handle this. To those that have been chosen, I will be sending you a discord invite/email soon, so be on the lookout.

    Thank you for those that auditioned either on this platform or others. Remember, if you did not get the audition, that's okay! There will always be a next time to prove your mettle. There was one audition I was unfortunately unable to view, however, if you still wanna work on the project please send me a DM and I'll see what can be done.

Arguably one of the two main characters within this fic.  It is important to remember that Dash feel's indebted to Twilight for bringing the first copy of "Daring Do..." that Dash has ever read, therefore leading to Dash's love of books, at the very least, the Daring series.

  • Pleading in the beginning, you quickly tone your voice to be more determined to stay with your friend, "But-but, Doc! Just look at her! She can’t even read with those bandages over her eyes! She’ll go insane!”

Uh oh!  An accident has occurred, and unfortunately our loving bookworm can't read books for a spell.  Twilight is, in short, a nerd for many things.  Throughout this fic, she will input her thoughts and make corrections in her own dorky way.  She has had a love of books since she was a child and is almost always seen with a new book.  Put simply, she reads a lot.  Imagine the sorrow she must feel at certain times when she once again realizes that she cannot read anything.
