Purple Puyo Productions is back with another Dub annoucement! Puyo Puyo 7! (Purple Puyo Prouctions is a non-profit organization not affiliated with SEGA)
What is this?
This is a fandub project for the game Puyo Puyo 7. A Japan-exclusive puzzle game where 2 players have to connect colorful jelly-like blobs in order to clear them and send garbage to their opponent. I am a huge fan of this game franchise and translators such as Precise Museum and Saetta06 have been working hard for the past couple of years to translate this series into something everyone can enjoy.
Why?
So if translations are being produced, what is the point of this? This project is the start of the final touch the translations are missing. English Voice Acting. While the average person (who can read English fluently) can read the translations, there are no voices to match! This is where YOU (potentially) come in! I need voice actors who are ambitious and are willing to sacrifice maybe an hour (that time in total across multiple weeks) to record some lines for these soon-to-be iconic characters.
Requirements
Please have a clean microphone. Don't comment rude things on other submissions, and audition for as many roles as you want.
Deadline
The Deadline for the casting part of this project is August 18th at 12am EST.

Voice Actor
Ringo Ando is one of the main protagonists in the Puyo Puyo Franchise. She exists in yet another different universe to her friends Arle & Amitie and is taught how to play Puyo by Arle when her school is flooded with Puyo. Ringo is more down-to-earth than her friends, and is quite an intellectual person. Her inquisitive nature causes her to question many things, including, but not limited to the quirks of the game of Puyo Puyo. She is eccentric in her own way and is known to spontaneously burst into improvised songs.
This role is the main protagonist and has a song at the end that she sings. If you audition for this role, you HAVE TO SING THE CREDITS SONG

Risukuma is a third year at Suzuran Junior high who first appeared in Puyo Puyo 7. He was formerly a member of the science club, but after he caused an explosion that destroyed the science clubroom and turned him into a bear? Squirrel? Squirrel-Bear?? No one really knows. But after that he joined the physics club with Ringo and Maguro. He is particularly intrigued in matters regarding love, but as a squirrel-bear(?) He can start making illegible speech when he gets worked up.

The number of things I've accomplished with experiments... I don't mean to brag, but there are too many to count.
Building guild towers imbues you with a mysterious power that makes you stronger? Very interesting. Should we go on a quest? We might be able to collect some materials for experiments for more of them.

Maguro Sasaki is a student at the school in Puyo Puyo 7. He lives in the Suzuran Shopping District with Ringo, as the eldest son of a fishmonger. He is also Ringo's childhood friend, and frequently spends time with her in the physics clubroom, though he does not appear to be interested in conducting experiments himself. He is reportedly to be skilled at studying, cooking, and games. He constantly carries a Puyo-themed kendama, a toy similar to a yo-yo or ball-in-cup, as he is an avid gamer; the tricks he performs with this toy comprise his attack animations.

This is Arle. One of the minor roles Arle Nadja (ARL-NAH-djuh) is a young girl with magical powers. Being the main protagonist of the early Puyo Puyo games, she is generally accepted to be the main protagonist of Puyo Puyo in general. She is described to be cheerful, but prone to making snarky comments. She attacks with elemental magic such as Fire, Ice Storm and Thunder, but also knows some other magic such as Diacute, Heaven Ray and her signature Bayoen. She has a pet, or creature friend named Carbuncle or its nickname, Carby.

Voice Actor
Draco Centauros is a half-dragon and half-human girl who claims to be Arle's rival. She is capable of breathing fire and also appears to be adept at hand-to-hand fighting. A recurring element of her character is an obsession with beauty contests. She has a naive, refreshing personality, though her simplicity is her weakness.
Draco is an energetic, loud, and vigorous young girl. She is highly competitive and is often looking for new rivals. Draco considers herself a powerful fighter, which is ironic considering her more AI in more recent games is notably weak. Similar to her rival, Arle, Draco has a tomboyish attitude. This is best shown by her eating habits, where she often gets hungry and tries to eat other creatures such as Onion Pixies. However, unlike Arle, Draco doesn't look down on typical feminine interests.
Draco is generally friendly to others, but also has a tendency to playfully tease people. Due to her carefree nature, she is rarely focused in a serious situation, and based on her interactions with Rulue and Schezo, she doesn't get along well with adults. Draco can also be quite mischievous, often getting herself into trouble be it accidentally or deliberately. Due to the above statements, Draco is often called out for being immature, much to her irritation.
Although she cares deeply about her goals, Draco rarely displays vanity or selfishness, unlike Rulue, While she is not above calling herself "pretty" or "cute", Draco tends to put other people before herself.

This is Feli. One of the supporting roles. Feli is questionably mysterious, and is quite skilled in the occult art of divination. Feli is a female student of a magic school in a town neighboring Primp Town and a visitor who visits Primp Magic School while accompanying her upperclassman, Lemres.

Suketoudara (Skeh-toh-dah-rah) is a fish with arms and legs. He always greets people with a loud "Fiiish!", and loves to show off his mad dancing skills. Suketoudara is a very bold character, making his presence known wherever he goes. He thinks very highly of himself, and his favorite hobby is dancing, as he will often appear on a scene with a cry of "Let's Dance!".

Rulue is Arle's rival and is a powerful martial artist. She is madly in love with the Dark Prince after he saved her life one time, and views Arle as a rival for his affection, despite the latter displaying no interest in him. She has a huge minotaur servant despite having a substantial amount of physical ability to defend herself. True to her self-proclaimed title of Fighting Queen, she tries to have a sense of finesse yet assertion towards others. However, she also tends to be selfish, which often causes her to lose her temper when she doesn't. For example, she tends to get jealous if anyone tries to "take" the Dark Prince from her, and will become agitated if her appearance or title is ignored or mocked. This sometimes causes her to perform antagonistic acts. Although normally capable herself, she prefers others like her minotaur to do her dirty work. She is also vain and is more than happy to show off her physique, beauty, and combat ability.
When voicing Rulue, be sure to be dynamic with the sound of your emotions. Rulue displays intense emotion a lot of the time, so having a softening tone for when she's in love, a very direct and intense tone when she's angry, etc. can really help your audition.

Schezo (Sheh-zoh) Wegey is a dark mage who possesses ancient magic and wields the Dark Sword. He has a tendency to drop scathing remarks, as well as a tendency to utter carelessly worded comments, oftentimes with his catchphrase "I want you!". This oftentimes leads to others calling him a pervert or creeper, much to his chagrin. Deep within his cool and collected personality, he harbors a liking for cute animals such as Donguri Gaeru the frog and Onion Pixies.
Schezo may come off as intimidating and uncomfortable to be around, but this front is often muddled by his lapses of awkward wording that, more often than not, breaks into double entendre. Usually this is due to him slipping up while specifying what he actually wants, and instead carelessly uttering the phrase, "I want you!" As a result, a lot of people call him a "creeper" or "pervert" a label that he is easily peeved and upset by because it is not true. His wording seems to get worse when his emotions are intense, such as when he is excited or flustered.
Schezo also appears to have a lot of knowledge, particularly related to magic. However, it seems that his knowledge does not necessarily translate to wisdom, as his words and actions often land him in hot water.

Skeleton-T is a skeleton (but in Puyo Puyo 7, a trio) who is obsessed with Japanese tea. His catchphrase is literally "Tea!!". Skeleton T is also known for his very weak AI; so weak, in fact, that he never takes advantage of the ability to rotate his Puyo. When teleported to Ringo's world, He and his 2 other skeletons go on a not so threatening rampage looking for the best tea.
Skeleton-T and the 2 others of his trio have a voice that sounds like a raspy old man. He doesn't have an English voice to take inspiration from but here is Japanese voice if you'd like to take a listen.

Voice Actor
The Dark Prince (Also named Satan in Japan, although not the same one of Christian religion) is often the main antagonist of the series. He's the former owner of Carbuncle and dotes on him frequently. He apparently has a liking to Hawaiian shirts. According to some Compile profiles, he planned to give Carbuncle to his fiancé, as proof of his love.
More often than not, he is the final character one must face in most Puyo Puyo titles, and is usually a powerful opponent too. Satan/Dark Prince, despite his name, is often portrayed as a hopeless lover and rarely outright evil. Throughout the series he tries many schemes to try and make Arle love him but it often backfires spectacularly. He boasts about his plans, even when it's blatantly not working, but quickly falls apart once his plans fail. This often makes him act immature, even to the point where he acts childish with petty insults. Otherwise, he has low tolerance towards others, quickly getting agitated if mocked and likewise insults others with sarcastic or brutally honest comments. Despite this, he can make friends with others.

Voice Actor
Ecolo is a mysterious dark character who first appears in Puyo Puyo 7 as the main antagonist. He is an entity known as the "Wanderer of Worlds" that can traverse dimensions to his liking. Due to the nature of being a spacetime traveler whose existence conflicts with the laws of spacetime, memories of his existence are easily forgotten by most. Ecolo is very whimsical and adores fun. He adores playing with others and sharing fun (even if involving the misfortune of others), but has difficulty exercising restraint. After losing his memories temporarily at one point, he plans to spread happiness but tends to be over the top, and occasionally endangers worlds or pushes Ringo's personal boundaries. Despite no one knowing what he actually is, he does possess the ability to possess others and use their bodies to manipulate he dubs as "playing with them".
