Role assigned to: katastrofree

Sheila E is a young and svelte Italian girl. She has long dark hair, a part of which is tied into several long, lighter colored, braids. An eight-pointed scar covers her left eye.

Sheila E wears a brassiere and underwear under a large loose coat connected only around her stomach. She also wears baggy leggings made from the same cloth, but lacks any footwear. Her outfit is covered with a triangular wave design reminiscent of Native American motifs.

PERSONALITY
Sheila E is introduced as a frank teenage girl. She doesn't chew her words and harshly criticizes Fugo for abandoning his team. Despite her indiscipline, it seems she fulfilled her role well as liaison between Passione and Squadra Esecuzioni. Sheila E prefers to take the most direct solution to any problem, typically destroying anything inconvenient.

Sheila possesses a strong moral code, hating evildoers and worshipping charismatic moral people like Giorno. After Illuso killed her sister, Sheila infiltrated Passione, planning to kill Illuso while also asking for permission. Consequently, she feels that she owes Giorno for killing Illuso and obediently follows his command. Because of her manichean view about right and wrong, Sheila has a psychological limit in that she cannot bring herself to attack someone she deems "more right" than she is.

Taking failure poorly, Sheila E has a tendency to place herself further into danger to atone for any perceived failure on her part.

The E in her alias stands for "Erinni," the Italian name of the Greek goddesses of revenge.

Role assigned to: Tonezone

Cannolo has a dour personality, constantly grumbling against something and thinking that his teammates owe him respect because of age, although he also generally respects his superiors.

Cannolo is also deeply paranoid because of his job. He considers anything out of the ordinary to be suspicious and often questions the motives of Fugo and Sheila.

Prior to the events of the story, Cannolo was self-described as a shallow man who had nothing to believe in and didn't have a care in the world, notably about the crimes he's done, and only acted for his benefit. However, his meeting with Giorno changed him. Cannolo looks up to Giorno and currently tries to uphold Giorno's code and is deeply loyal to him.

  • AHHHHHH, ah, ah, ah, STOP! Don't knock! The vibrations drive me batty! I know you're there so don't knock!

  • Well, you look pretty weak. A green kid, all book smarts, no street smarts. I thought you'd be a hardened killer! Oh well. My name is Cannolo Murolo. I'm a proper Passione member. I run the information analysis team.

  • *embarassed/angry* "N-no! Don't be ridiculous! I just...didnt know hed turn traitor! And...and it's not like I gave him any critical information! I just...reconstructed a burnt photograph they brought in."

Massimo is a tall Italian man described as having an angular and bony build, making him look Irish. He has a thin nose, eyes and eyebrows. He has unfocused eyes and dark rings under them.

He has long, straight hair, and wears a hat with fur trimming. He appears to wear a one-piece suit with shoes that meld into it. He also wears a belt with a large buckle featuring a rectangular shape in it with three circles.[2]

The outfit's fabric is generally plain, but features many trimmings of fur, namely along his outer arms, the sleeves' cuffs, and two sections extending from his belt to his collar, which is entirely fur. Below the collar, in the center, appears to be a handle of sorts.[2]

since the beginning of his life, Massimo lives an extremely apathetic, uninspired life, often not making a big deal out of anything simply because he does not feel deeply about anything, lacking any passion, and this leaves him rather close-minded and lackadaisical, but develops considerably violent mannerisms after joining Passione's Narcotics Team.[2]

However, he is extremely resentful of others, sometimes without even knowing them well. Most notably his elder brother and Pannacotta Fugo. The general exception to his seemingly careless nature is the Narcotics Team, acting somewhat as a guide for Angelica Attanasio and Vittorio Cataldi. Vladimir Kocaqi expresses great faith in Massimo's abilities, claiming he could rule the world with them,[3] but Massimo doesn't believe him, nonetheless loyally going along with Kocaqi's leadership, being particularly distraught after the man's murder.[4]

Further, he shares a uniquely caring relationship with Angelica, voluntarily using his Stand to alleviate the pain of her chronic illness with its effects.[2] After witnessing her death, Massimo loses emotional control of himself, going to significantly violent lengths to draw Fugo out in order to kill him and avenge both of his teammates' murders.[5]
Beneath the belt, his legs also have fur trimming, where circlets containing tassels hang.[2]

Despite his profession, Vladimir Kocaqi is a gentle and wise old man, who cares for his team. Cannolo describes him as a quiet man until you crossed him. On the other hand, he despises immoral men like Cannolo who only act for themselves. Voodoo Child demonstrates that because of his personality, he feels no guilt for anything he's done.

As a Silician, he tends to favour his countrymen's way of thinking. He explains that life is inherently unfair and that people have to accept it, lashing out their frustration being a pitiful answer to life's hardships to Vladimir. Moreover, trying to only count on one's will is also useless. He also says that he favors silence.

  • God Damn it, Massimo! I told you not to fight unless you have to. Vittorio and I can handle mooks like this. You and Angelica should let us protect you.

  • I know you don't see it, but you could rule the world, you know. With a Stand like yours, you could place yourself above all other men.

  • You hear me, Massimo?  You're the heart of this team. We exist only for you.

In spite of her serious illness, Angelica has a rather chipper, bubbly personality. Being young, she acts absent-minded and spacey, noted when Sale arrives at the Narcotic Team's warehouse and Angelica doesn't appear to notice him. However, Angelica is actually fairly observant of others and their abilities, such as Mario Zucchero and his Stand, Soft Machine.

She seems to take amusement in others' misfortune, such as laughing hysterically during Massimo Volpe's rough treatment of Vittorio Cataldi. She also has no qualms with intense violence, and will pull an entire town into a life-threatening situation if she feels she has to.

Commonly referred to as a "junkie girl", Angelica is severely addicted to the drugs of the Narcotics Team, especially those Massimo develops for her with Manic Depression in order to alleviate the pain and progression of her illness.

Angelica is very fond of her teammates, and tends to drape herself onto them. She ecstatically greets Vladimir Kocaqi upon his return to the group, and kisses Vittorio on his face in order to encourage him during one of their final confrontations. She shows particular faith in Vittorio's strength in battle, sounding motherly to him. However, due to her dependency on Manic Depression, she shares a special fondness for Massimo. Bothered by his apathetic personality, she encourages him to make real, genuine smiles, even pulling the corners of his mouth to make him smile. Before her death, her final words to him praise him on his genuine smile.

After Kocaqi's death, Angelica becomes extremely unstable. She sobs and mourns him in the warehouse, Vittorio unable to comfort her. However, after a particularly loud sob of anguish and anger, she declares that they must make Fugo, Sheila E, and Cannolo Murolo pay for Kocaqi's murder.

Vittorio is a psychotic masochist, obsessed with pain. He has a habit of cutting himself with his dagger, expressing pleasure with a loud "Gigigigigi!" while doing so. This masochism is tied to his belief that pain calls the life force inside him. In a related way, Vittorio thinks that civilized life is lacking and that it is a veneer for the emptiness of life, hence his love of pain.

Otherwise, Vittorio acts like a typical thug. He is uneducated and rude, sometimes overfamiliar with people and quick to seek fights. Likewise, he doesn't care about the crimes he's committed. According to Cannolo Murolo, Vittorio doesn't care about anything as he was born at the bottom of society, treated like scum and given no hope. As a result, Vittorio lashed out at everything around him. However, he genuinely admires Massimo and is loyal to him.

Guido Mista

Role assigned to: Michael Perkins

Easy-going and relaxed whenever the number "4" is not involved, Guido Mista is also a resolute gunslinger when in battle.

Mista comes off as a laid-back teenager, being one of the least serious members of Team Bucciarati, although not as childish as Narancia. His backstory describes him as a carefree individual, whose goal was to enjoy simple, daily, and worldly pleasures such as food or pretty girls. During idle times, Mista can often be seen reading books or magazines. His simplicity would be mistaken as idiocy by those that did not know him well, when in reality he'd rather not trouble himself by thinking of complicated matters.[4] Mista is also one of the most sociable members of the group, regularly seen bringing random conversation subjects out of nowhere, such as asking if vegetarians would wear leather-based clothing, or if human flesh would taste bad as a result of a natural diet that includes meat.

While Mista may act nonchalant, he is one of the rudest members of the cast. He easily commits violent acts, already having a history of going into fights for the petty reason that someone would badmouth his favorite movie star, and during the course of Vento Aureo displays a willingness to commit outright torture or murder with a casual approach to them; he hooked Zucchero's eyelid to a fishing line and threatened to burn his retina with the sun, had no hesitation in shooting Sale in the head on sight and thinking him dead, and threatened to execute Pesci if he didn't answer a question on the count of two. Other such acts include readily sabotaging Narancia's stereo because the music annoyed him or knocking out a truck driver unwittingly transporting Team Bucciarati when threatened with them being discovered. He has also been shown to be very ill-mannered at times, using coarse language and often taunting his enemies when he has the upper hand in battle. More funnily, he also has been eyeing Trish during his bodyguarding mission, despite the imagined risks.

However, Mista is still a decent individual at heart. He jumped to the rescue of a beaten up woman without thinking and while he acts rough with civilians, he doesn't endanger them like his enemies do, showin genuine shock at the destruction Green Day causes.

Mista shows a great deal of confidence in his ability, saying that his Stand Sex Pistols is suited for assassination and often insisting on his achievements, first when reminding Fugo that he defeated Sale alone to secure the group's coming to Capri or getting upset that Giorno would doubt his swift "victory" against Carne, thinking that he was just that good. However, the Sleeping Slaves arc shows that, if it were to save Bucciarati and with a problem he doesn't see how to solve, Mista had readily begged Scolippi for advice. He also knows better than anyone the limits of his gun and Stand.

In contrast to his usually easy-going attitude, Mista become noticeably more serious and proactive when in battle. Connecting with his habit of not overthink things, Mista is a supporter of taking initiative and often advocates for directly confronting his enemies, sometimes to the point of rushing too rapidly to battle.[5] With his direct attitude and a gun-related ability, Mista takes a very straightforward approach to battle, usually aiming for an immediate kill. Nonetheless, most enemies he's faced have had abilities countering bullets to some degree, forcing him to display more ingenuity to fight. Despite his obvious recklessness, Mista displays method in his battles. He regularly applies tactical insight, having accurately deduced Sale's most probable actions during his short hunt, or making an effort to try and find an enemy's weak point, such as finding White Album's airhole, or trying to attack Secco the moment he emerged from the ground.

Moreover, Mista shows great calmness in battle, managing to keep his nerve most of the time despite wounds or even the threat of death.[6] The most notable example of his resolve is when he engages in a direct shootout with Ghiaccio despite the reflected bullets tearing through his body. If given the choice, Mista has no problem coming up with life-threatening moves such as willingly let Ghiaccio hit him to blind the assassin with his own blood, or throwing himself off a building with Rolling Stone in his hand. That calmness has its limits, however, as he started to panic during the final encounter with the Boss.[7]

MistaFourBullets
Mista panics upon realizing he has four bullets left
Mista's most noticeable quirk of character is his severe tetraphobia: fear of the number 4. If it is mentioned or visible, he will immediately become anxious and paranoid, visibly sweating.[8] Additionally, his Stand, Sex Pistols has bullets labeled 1-7, with 4 omitted. He occasionally displays other superstitious beliefs, for instance saying that urinating close to precious jewels would bring bad karma, or wondering if Giorno is a "lucky boy" that brings fortune to the group. Mista is also stated to believe in God to a fundamental leve: whenever he's in danger, he always has thoughts along the line of "I'll certainly be saved!" or "It will definitely pass over!". This, however, is never demonstrated in the manga aside from his character profile.[9]

While Mista is friendly with every member of his group, he has a privileged relationship with Bucciarati or Giorno. Like all members of Team Bucciarati, Mista looks up to Bucciarati in all aspects and has ironclad confidence in him, even trusting Bucciarati to overthrow the Boss of Passione not long after the latter had announced his betrayal. In parallel to his admiration for Bruno, Mista builds a partnership with Giorno, being one of the first to realize his talents. In time, Giorno would become perhaps the closest member of the team to Mista, with the two eventually creating a fruitful combination in battle.

  • Okay, the tell me.... you got anything to say to me? Anything you want to know? I'll answer what I can.

  • Woah that bits all wrong. People just assume that the gunman is the right hand man, but the real number two is Polnareff. I'm number three. Think about it - you take the number two twice you get four!!! Four is bad luck, and I'm not getting anywhere near that! Three is much safer.

  • Fugo! What do you think? Do you consider yourself a traitor? Did you heartlessly abandon Buccellati in his hour of need? Does the guilt keep you up at night?

ale is a careful man, approaching his goal with care. He appears more focused than his partner Mario Zucchero, coming to the conclusion that 6 billion lire would drastically improve his standing within Passione. Opportunistic, him and Zucchero work as a duo to secure Polpo's treasure, brave enough to oppose Bucciarati's team of six individually. Compared to Zucchero's recklessness, Sale is more calm and calculated, having planned to outrace Buccirati's gang to the location of the treasure while Zucchero battled them directly and await word from his partner. He also separated Guido Mista from the others to force him into a one-on-one battle where Kraft Work's ability had the advantage against Sex Pistols.

However, Sale also demonstrates some degree of overconfidence in combat, explaining his every move to Mista and claiming his Stand's superiority.

Trish is first introduced as a spoiled, selfish girl; this is later revealed to be a way to hide her insecurities, although her self-doubt is still apparent in instances such as expressing her nervousness to Bucciarati whether she and her father would get along or not. Over the course of the time she spends with the group, a deeply loyal, determined side of her is revealed. When she discovers her Stand Spice Girl with the help of Giorno Giovanna, she comes to terms with her own power to defend herself and her new friends. She is also seen lightheartedly teasing and joking around with Guido Mista towards the end once she is comfortable around him, implying that this is her true nature.

Bruno Bucciarti

Role assigned to: slicer02

Bruno Bucciarati's most important character traits are his righteousness and his natural kindness. Bucciarati is dedicated to take the most honorable course of action, even if he puts his life at risk. For instance, at the age of seven, Bucciarati chose to stay with his father when his parents divorced as he thought he should support the one parent who suffered from this separation. Moreover, Bucciarati overtly rebelled against Diavolo when the Boss clearly wanted to kill his daughter Trish Una, resulting in his premature death. Bucciarati is loyal to the civilians of his territory, being considerate with them accepting their requests for help, and is generally nice to the people he meets.[5][6]

Bucciarati respects and upholds several values such as resolve, commending Giorno's resolve in their fight, selflessness as he is prepared to sacrifice himself for his beliefs and his duties, and family loyalty, being outraged that Diavolo would dare hurt his own child. Like his team, Bruno believes that resolve involves to risk one's own life for a just cause, a standard he constantly holds up to by putting himself in danger and betting on the enemy's lesser resolve to prevail, until his climactic self-sacrifice against Diavolo. During their first fight, Diavolo even praised how Bucciarati kept his consciousness and tried to counterattack despite an open chest wound. He also readily admires this same resolve whenever it shows up in opponent, noting that Giorno and Pesci (temporarily) have such resolve. According to Giorno, Bucciarati believes in individual freedoms, and that people are free to die however they wish.[7]

However, Bucciarati also particularly despises the drug trade, which caused his father's death[5] and is hurting the population on a large scale, especially children, thus any mention of it unnerves him. Because of his allegiance to Passione which is selling drugs in the street, Bucciarati is conflicted between his code and his duty as a gang member. Giorno notes that Bucciarati was at odds with himself when he used Sticky Fingers to hide inside the body of a teenager who was addicted to drugs.[8] Due to this, he decided to quietly support Giorno Giovanna's infiltration of the gang while still working for the organization.[9] Shown to be against Narancia joining the gang, telling him to live a normal life, Bucciarati doesn't hold the gangster life in high regard.[10] Bruno also looks down on spiteful violence, going back on his praise of Pesci when he saw that Pesci wanted to kill Bruno's team out of spite rather than tactical insight.

In contrast to his righteousness, Bucciarati has a violent and ruthless side. At the age of ten, Bucciarati murdered his father's would-be aggressors in cold blood,[11] and as a gangster, kept his tendency toward violence. Upon their first meeting, Bucciarati violently beat down Giorno and referred to his interrogation as a torture session[3] and didn't stop the team from beating and torturing Mario Zucchero. Having worked for a gang for years, Bucciarati is an experienced fighter, being able to discern whenever killing intent is genuine, is unfazed by empty threats, and is able to keep calm even during a desperate looking fight. Likewise, Bucciarati will often use lethal force against his enemies as demonstrated against Prosciutoo and Pesci whom he caused to be run over by a train and dismembered, as well as against Secco whom he deafened with a popped car tire.

During a fight, Bucciarati is both brave and cautious. While he is ready to sacrifice himself in order to win,[12] Bucciarati will try tactical retreats and sneak attacks regularly, as seen when he tried to ambush Diavolo. The versatile Sticky Fingers notably allows him to perform unpredictable tricks such as giving himself greater range, or suddenly disappear and maneuver out of trouble. Even when pitted against a physically weaker Stand, Bruno takes precautions and thus he can be seen performing a strategic retreat against Gold Experience and Oasis alike. Nonetheless when push comes to shove, Bruno will recklessly risk his life if it enables him to win following his philosophy of resolve.

Bucciarati is consistently shown to be serious, even as a young child, and usually keeps a serious and unflinching demeanor throughout the story. Moreover, Bruno takes his responsability as a team leader seriously, considering that a lieutenant's has the double duties to accomplish the mission but also to ensure that his subordinates live. That makes Bruno extremely determined in a fight if the lives of his teammates are in stakes, and Bruno routinely takes reckless actions to ensure their safety, for instance dragging Prosciutto out of a speeding train to take him out and prevent him from aging the team to death. During most of the story, Bucciarati always acts with a given objective in mind (take Polpo's treasure or bodyguarding Trish for instance), and always pays mind to it. As a result, Bucciarati can be seen seen reining in his less disciplined subordinates[13] in regard to focusing on their goal. For the sake of his teammates, Bucciarati keeps a stern facade of determination, ordering his team to carry on despite the recent loss of Abbacchio even though he too was internally distressed by Abbacchio's sudden death.[14]

Bruno keeps a strong relationship with his team, being severe but fair and giving them praise whenever he think it is earned. His habit of looking for misfits and treat them humanly has indeed secured their loyalty, allowing the majority of the group to stay united under him even when they rebel against the Boss of Passione. Furthermore, each member of Bruno's team look up to his ability and believe that under his leadership that they can achieve greatness. For instance, Guido Mista was freed out of prison thanks to Bruno, and Narancia was struck by Bruno's stern but humane behaviour toward him, both ultimately trusting him to win against Passione. Bucciarati is shown to have a paternal side with Narancia, whom he sheltered and counseled to stay away from the life of a gangster,[10] as well as with Trish whose worries about being the daughter of a mob boss he tries to comfort the best he can.[13] In the brutal world of gangsters, Bruno nonetheless holds no illusion that they are also constantly risking their lives.

  • My name is Bruno Bucciarti (Boo*chair*ity), I've been checking up on you. Seemed like you might be worth meeting.

  • You're as quick as they say and as bold. You don't seem like you're afraid of me. Why is that?

  • When you spoke of your parents, I saw no desire for revenge. You must hate them, but not obsessively. I get worked up too easily. I could use a level head around.

Narancia Ghirga

Role assigned to: Anime Star

Narancia Ghirga is rough and choleric youth who demonstrates great loyalty to his comrades.

Narancia's overall behavior could be summed up as being quite childish, best illustrated with his formal education that does not extend past elementary school[4]. His mathematic skills are so low he cannot properly multiply numbers greater than single digits, knowing that 6 x 5 = 30 but then managing to calculate that 16 x 55 = 28.[4] However, by no means does this imply stupidity, as Narancia is capable of countering his opponent's moves under pressure in a life-or-death battle. He is prone to perform a violently straightforward action, regularly catching sneakier enemies by surprise. For instance he once set fire to a whole street to trap Formaggio.[5] He also defeated Squalo and Tiziano by tricking them into thinking he is still under Talking Head's forced lying while he cut out his own tongue.[6] Moreover, he has mastered Aerosmith enough to play with its subtleties, deducing with a good degree of precision what is happening despite the limited input of his radar.

Narancia is almost as quick-tempered as Fugo, being quite loud, foul-mouthed, and violent in his outbursts.[7][8] He notably keeps a pair of switchblades which he regularly uses to threaten others and doesn't hesitate in committing violent actions, for instance mistaking a civilian for an enemy gang member and immediately beating him down alongside some of his teammates[9]. He also has a casual disregard of the mayhem Aerosmith causes, his personality being reflected in the plane's formidable firepower yet limited precision. As a result his battles end with the vicinity being ravaged.

NaranciaPersonality
Narancia buying snacks during a mission
Ordinarily, Narancia remains the least mature of the team's members, displaying typically child-like actions by expressing random thoughts out loud and occasionally playing around. He is usually the one who slacks off the most during missions, for instance neglecting the basic precautions during his shopping trip by ignoring Fugo's advice[10] and even drawing a route directly to the team's hideout on a map[11]. He was also the first one to drop his guard when the group approached their destination in Venice[12]. Narancia was shown to be possessive of his food, and is angered if it gets stolen.[13] Having noticed that Giorno was even younger than him, Narancia occasionally reminds the latter of his status as a junior within the squad. Narancia was also very uncomfortable with seeing Giorno performing a fellatio on Mista and even tried to erase it from his mind, hinting at some degree of childlike innocence about sex.[14]
Despite his bratty behavior, Narancia presents a sweet side to those who get to know him. Having lost his mother and his father being very neglectful, Narancia's valued his friends above all and considered "friendship" the most valuable thing in the world. He was devastated by the betrayal of his band and then found a role model in Bruno Bucciarati. The man was among the first to treat him as a human being and Narancia became utterly loyal to the ganster[15]. Being scared to betray Passione and its dreaded Boss, Narancia asked Bruno to "order" him to betray the gang, showing some lingering emotional dependency on his team leader.[16] Outside of his outbursts, Narancia is usually the nicest person to his companions, and despite a violent start, his relationship with Trish quickly improves to the point they freely have personal talks during the journey.[17]

Narancia wishes to make up for his lost years as a delinquent. Conscious about his lack of academic education, Narancia is willing to let Fugo tutor him and expressed a wish to go back to school despite knowing he would probably be made fun of.[4]

  • Hunh?!? What's going on? Giorno's younger than you! But wait, Buccellati is older than me, so....awww screw it! It's all good!

Leone Abbacchio is a somber, quite bitter yet dedicated member of Bucciarati's team.

As a police officer, Abbacchio wanted to keep the streets safe and vowed to give his life in the pursuit of justice. However, the high crime rate among the citizens, their ungratefulness, and the many criminals who bribed their way out of punishment eroded his sense of justice and he began to accept bribes, telling himself that he was still keeping the peace in the city. However, when he failed to properly arrest the same man who bribed him because he feared he would be discovered as a corrupt cop, Abbacchio had to see his partner in the police being fatally shot to save him. Stripped of his rank and moreover openly confronting that he was a criminal like any other, Abbacchio became depressive and eventually joined Passione, only feeling at peace when with the righteous Bruno Bucciarati.

Abbacchio is one of the more serious members of Team Bucciarati. Out of the group, he is one of the most no-nonsense members, taking objectives seriously and allowing very little to entertain him. Among the few times he smiles is out of spite for others (e.g. chuckling at Giorno's seemingly absurd predictions and humorously asking Illuso if he'd lost something after successfully getting Mr. President's key away from him). Abbacchio never participates in the antics of his teammates. However, he still frequently participates in a handful of casual group conversations, especially during lunch. On multiple occasions, Abbacchio would indulge in Mista and Narancia's conversations despite the two's random subject matter, inserting logical responses in-between their tangential nonsense (e.g. talking about what vegetarians would wear or if human flesh tastes good).

During battle, Abbacchio expresses an aggressive side, showing it in frequent verbal threats and insults when talking about and to the enemy.

Abbacchio is highly dedicated to the mission of his group, aiming to absolve himself of or forget his past mistake, and also does so as a way to keep his mind off the memory. Abbacchio is said to have given up on life after the incident that ended his career, only able to give his body as a 'soldier' type in order to further his superiors' goals. In addition, he considers his ability to fulfill a given mission to be a source of honor and pride. As such, he prioritizes the completion of a mission before the life of his allies, and shows a readiness to leave Fugo to his fate. During the fight with Illuso, he easily severs his right hand in order to get Mr.President's key to Giorno, accepting impending death almost immediately before Giorno saves him.

He envies those that are able to pursue justice despite the odds pitted against them and how futile justice appears to be in the face of money. Though Abbacchio admits that he was never able to follow through with his dream, his partner's spirit corrects that he's always kept his moral compass even after becoming a gangster.

When Abbacchio meets Giorno, he presents the new member with a teacup of his own urine as a bullying tactic. During their time together, Abbacchio never ceases to confront Giorno and express his contempt for the new member. Not only does he remain highly critical of Giorno's every action and word, he also refuses to show Moody Blues in action in front of him, not trusting Giorno in the least with the secret of his Stand. Somewhat prideful, Abbacchio promises to beat Giorno up after the younger member consistently proves his own course of actions optimal whenever their opinions differ. But, although he despises Giorno and manhandles him from time to time, he never goes as far as hitting him. Despite himself, Abbacchio is impressed by Giorno's actions. For his part, Giorno respects Abbacchio as a senior member of the team.

When Abbacchio visits Pompeii, he shows a former great interest in the ruins as he mentions that as a child, he used to walk all the way there from Naple

  • I can't say it sits entirely well with me, but if Buccellati's cool with it. I'll follow. And beat the crap out of anyone who says otherwise.

Tonio has a charismatic and courteous personality – unless someone dares to de-sanitize his kitchen, in which case he turns vicious. However, such viciousness is usually short-lived, and he typically reverts to normal before anyone gets hurt.

His ambition is to serve his customers tasty and especially healthy delicacies. In Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, he is shown to have a very caring personality towards Virginia and is willing to be arrested and/or killed for her health.

  • Sorry, Massimo, I've dumped all of this on your shoulders. Forgive father. He just cant accept that times have changed. This won't be easy for you, but do what you can.

  • Someday I'll find a country where I can start a little place on my own, cook food I can be proud of. Id have to use mother's maiden name, of course--couldn't have that stain on the Volpe name. I'll call myself Trussardi

  • Massimo...D-don't you have...a dream of your own?
