Hey there. Are you interested in helping a start-up indie entertainment/publishing avenue in making their first indie anime web-series? Are you in a indie animation hangover thanks to Murder Drones and other indie shows? Do you like the concept of a darkly comedic Pokémon/Yu-Gi-Oh with crazy storylines with a science fantasy edge? Well, if you like one or many of these things, then welcome to Puppet Master X!
This is a original anime web-series about a single card game that has reached many people in many parts of the world and has one unique concept. There are no magical creatures, no catching them all, no mascot. There's only one thing in mind.
Winning over someone mind with the power of voodoo-like "puppets" to win the game.
It's wicked and sometimes psychological. It takes mental skill. But when you have a sassy 18-year-old Puppet Master in charge of the game and a half-android half-fallen-angel with a secret agenda, what sort of darkly comedic hijinks will they go on?
This is a indie, anime-inspired web-series that will be hosted on my Youtube channel with a team working on episodes that are between 20-30 minutes long and will be one season long to start. We will start our initial efforts with a finished pilot first in mind. If that goes successfully, then we will work on other episodes. Our newly gathered team from this project will be have an overall goal for a season of 10-24 episodes. Later seasons may be different. The animation style is similar to Panty and Stocking.
We only need the available roles to start. We will be open to others at later dates. Remote work will be with Microsoft Teams, Discord, word processors like Microsoft Word/Google Docs, and other collaborative tools.

Hello everyone! Welcome to our first project update! As you probably know I am Nohemy Studios and as of today there are a quite a lot of big announcements coming straight to ya! So, be prepared!
But before we start, thanks to all 17 submitters for having the bravery to submit to such an ambitious project. Me and all of my team are so thankful that over several weeks of sifting through auditions that we found such dedicated yet so many creators spanning from young, gifted creators to people that have been into this industry for quite some time. It has been a very enriching process for all of us, and that includes you!
Now with that said, let get this party started!
The first big announcment is... drumroll please...
drum rolling intensifies
The first update is that we now have a date for when we will start pre-production! And that date is...
Feburary 1st, 2024!Feburary 1st is when we will officially start really going hard in our pre-production. For the writers, we will probably start many days eariler if possible before the 1st, but I will have to figure out with them when they think they are ready to start. As for the deadlines? Well, that's up for us to figure out! But its official! PMX will be a reality!
And our next big announcement is...
We will also be launching a Tiktok page!
We will have a smaller update soon about the details of this page but with the help of the promotional video editor, we will have a lot of PMX content planned and made to be submitted to Tiktok. As of now I will be hopefully launching it sooner than later!
And our last one is...
We have set up a Trello board! And an official Discord community! It is a work in progress as everything so if you end up joining and somehow want to add to it or even be on our team, please feel free to be one. Just note that you might have to commit to it, so please don't do it if you can't commit.

You will be acting as the role of Sallyson, a laid-back and very gullible Irish American older teen/young adult non-binary character. He's the voice of reason for Juniper and tends to be on her side always. He can get very emotional at times. Demos are as listed below. You don't have to do all of them.
(Happy) "Juniper! How goes the tournaments?"
(Flustered) "No! I did not say that! C'mon!"
(Sad) "Where is Aiden when you need him..."
(Scared) "What the fuck was that Juniper... where are you?"
(Furious) "You'll get your revenge, Missy!" Oh you'll get it!"
(Crying) "Why does everything that I do never get attention around here! I try my best, and I never succeed! I even tried to be Juniper's sweetheart, and she rejected me!"
(Tired) yawns I'll be in bed in a moment... one moment...
(Ashamed) I am sorry to have to break it to ya... but like I need to use the bathroom. Really bad!
(Excited) Can I have a girlfriend, too?
(Furious) Goddamnit! Just draw the card already, would ya?
You will be playing a grumpy, humanity-despising android who seems to hate everything but really does care in the end. X.A.X.A doesn't remember his creator yet has no interest or desire to know. He has a female android companion who is like the total opposite of him. Also, he has lots of mental health issues.
The demos are as listed below.
(Normal Mode) "What brings you today to my room this time Sallyson... don't you have anything better to do?"
(Emotional Mode) "Can you please just leave the parameters? It can't be that hard!
