Kagamine Rin's male counterpart, he keeps his short blonde hair tied back in a tiny ponytail. His boyish voice has a power and firmness to it, but can also excellently convey a wide range of emotions.

A VIRTUAL SINGER with long pink hair. She has a calm disposition, and an elegant, soft voice, which can brim with passion when singing emotional songs. She's bilingual, singing both in Japanese and English

A VIRTUAL SINGER with somewhat unruly dark blue hair, wearing an oversized scarf in a matching color. His masculine voice sounds fresh and natural, with a wide vocal range.

Although Ichika seems stoic at first glance, she is a quiet, modest, and kind girl who is always thinking about her friends. Adding to her kind nature, and despite her insistence, she is good at complimenting others. According to Honami, she doesn't always communicate very well with others.

At the start of Leo/need's Main Story, Ichika was listless, without much of a passion and was unable to gain the courage to bring her childhood friends back together, often wondering if things would continue this way. After Ichika discovers the School SEKAI, she gradually becomes more courageous and determined to reunite her friends. Once Leo/need is formed, Ichika becomes happier with her friends and more passionate about music to the point where she even asks Nene to teach her how to sing. She also tries performing on the streets to improve her skill. She enjoys spending time with her childhood friends and cherishes them deeply. Overtime, passion and determination grows even stronger as she realizes what she truly feels around her childhood friends.

Ichika loves Miku's songs and is always listening to them whenever she feels bored and looks at them for reference. She dislikes noisy places; for example, she doesn't enjoy visiting Phoenix Wonderland unless Saki goes with her.

According to her bandmates, Ichika used to be more courageous and impulsive when she was younger - for example, she would step in whenever Shiho was fighting with someone, even if she had no idea what the argument was about, and would also fight off Honami's bullies.

Saki is a cheerful, bright mood-maker who tries her best to never stop smiling. She enjoys fashion, and seems to take a liking to gyaru styles and subculture. Saki wants to make up for her years of isolation, where she would often feel lonely and sad, by spending time with friends and writing music. She also cares deeply for her friends and would even overwork herself by constantly practicing just to convince Shiho to join their band, as seen in Leo/need's Main Story.

Saki and her brother both love theme parks and their attractions. Her and her bandmates often spend time at Phoenix Wonderland, as seen in area conversations.

Honami is smart, athletic, and kind. She takes the feelings of others into consideration, is willing to listen to classmates' troubles, and wants to help other people around her any way she can. She often dwells on issues presented to her, trying to think of the best way to resolve it.

However, her kindness towards everyone has led to others viewing her as a bootlicker or a people-pleaser, which led her to isolate herself from her friends in middle school, in an attempt to avoid more judgement. She can become nervous and indecisive when faced with disagreements, afraid to make the wrong choice and upset everyone involved.

Honami has gradually gained more courage since her experiences in middle school and overcome her fear of disagreements. Honami is able to be assertive to her classmates and encourage others to be compromising and understanding, and even convinces Shiho to lean on the band for more support, instead of bearing the burden all by herself.

Honami has a great interest in astronomy as she teaches her childhood friends how to stargaze and has a great knowledge about constellations. She also loves to eat apple pies, often buying a comical amount of them.

Shiho is introverted and dislikes interacting with others. She immerses herself in her hobbies and doesn't care what other people think about her. Although she is introverted, she is not unkind, and is usually willing to help others. She is a straightforward person and speaks bluntly. Her cold, detached demeanor comes from her fear of hurting and dragging down those around her. Because of her aloof persona, rumors about her have previously spread throughout school, most of which claiming her to be a bully.

While Shiho cares for her childhood friends deeply, she is not afraid to be tough on them when she feels it's necessary. She does not give praise often, and when she does, it's usually short and frank. She takes band practice very seriously, and often leads the group due to her having the most experience. She wants to pursue music as a professional someday.

Minori is an optimistic, hard-working girl who has shown her determination and dedication to becoming an idol, something others often compliment her on. She has a kind heart and tries to be considerate of others. However, she is also clumsy, tends to get panicked easily, and often has trouble keeping her composure. This is accompanied by her habit of saying whatever's on her mind, and she seems to find it easy to express her emotions without restraint, purposefully or not. Despite her clumsiness, she is extremely disciplined, both in idol training and in her habit of daily writing.

She looks up to many of her friends and classmates and aspires to be like them. As she grows as both a person and an upcoming idol, she desires to bring the happiness that Haruka used to feel as an idol before retirement. Although it may not seem like so upon first meeting her, she is an empathetic and emotionally mature young girl. She has a habit of repeating the phrase "more and more" ("もっともっと", motto motto in Japanese).

Haruka is very charismatic, formerly being the most popular member of ASRUN. In Minori's words, she is "the kind of idol who is able to give everyone hope for a better tomorrow". She is a strict and dedicated person, working in regular routines of rigorous workouts to stay at an idol's standard. However, due to her overly diligent nature, she has difficulty relaxing and giving herself a break. This dedication applies to her studies, as the VIRTUAL SINGERS mention her excellent grades. She restricts herself on sweets and pastries, which, in response, causes cravings. She is attentive to the schedules and specials of pastry shops.

Haruka is composed yet bold, unafraid to talk back and tease her friends. She is rather sporty, liking basketball, and as a child she was quite competitive. She also loves penguins, owns a ton of penguin merch, and sometimes gets emotional when receiving penguin merch as a gift.

Airi is strong-minded and comes across as pushy to some. According to Minori, she is strict but reliable. She is very protective of her friends and family, and hates bullies. She was more tomboyish as a child, though that was frequently shot down by her mother. Airi retains some of her headstrong attitude, though cares greatly for her friends as well as her siblings, taking a sisterly role with both.

Before joining her unit, she would frequently think back on her past, bitter of how her agency ended up using her as a TV personality and disregarded her idol activities completely. When she would do this, she'd become snappy and irrational to those who would confront her about her attitude, insulting them, only to feel guilty afterwards.

Shizuku has a kind and mature personality. She worries a lot about disappointing her fans, feeling she must maintain a "perfect" image, but she begins to show her authentic self on livestreams. While she appears very calm and poised, she does have some quirks, such as putting miso soup in her thermos and being extremely bad with technology. As she grows as an idol, she becomes determined to stay true to herself, not the perfect image she had before.

Shizuku can also be a bit air-headed, as according to her sister Shiho, she loves going on walks but can't remember any of the street names. As shown in multiple area conversations, she gets lost even in places familiar to her, such as the shopping mall.

Kohane is very kindhearted and shy. Prior to meeting An and joining Vivid BAD SQUAD, she was a quiet, bashful girl who lacked self-confidence and didn't like being in public. After the main story, she becomes more open and brave. She slowly gains more confidence and no longer has problems communicating. However, on occasion, she still gets nervous and intimidated around people like Akito or Toya, since they used to be rivals.

Kohane is a diligent person and works hard to keep up with the rest of her unit. Although she is the most inexperienced member, others have noted her to be incredibly good. Despite her shyness, it is shown that she loves extreme things, such as roller coasters, bungee jumping, and her pet snake.

Cheerful and honest, An helps out at Weekend Garage. She was working towards surpassing her father's team's legendary event, RAD WEEKEND, when she learned an earth-shattering secret about Nagi, his teammate and her role model. After learning about Nagi's hopes from her father, An has bounced back, pledging once more to surpass the legend.

Akito appears to be an easygoing guy at first. However, his personality drastically changes when music is involved, becoming hot-blooded and passionate to the point where people find him scary.He respects anyone who is passionate about their interest and hates half-hearted people. He acts polite towards acquaintances and strangers, but when in the presence of people he is familiar with, he drops this act, showing his true gruff personality. Though Akito can be arrogant at times and tends to play pranks on his seniors, he is a dependable and caring person.

When Akito meets someone new, he puts on a charming persona, which Toya calls his "nice-guy persona" and seems to dislike.He is good at maintaining his polite facade and uses it when interacting with customers at his workplace.

Toya is quiet and calm but has a strong mind. His face is often deadpan, and people other than Akito and Tsukasa have difficulty reading his expressions. When people talk to him, they usually mistake him for being rude, as he is blunt and often misphrases his statements. Until becoming part of Vivid BAD SQUAD, he wasn't one to smile frequently. Despite his stoic demeanor, he is kind and quick to help others. He can occasionally be airheaded or gullible.

He is good at studying and gets high grades, a trait that he shares with Kohane. He can sometimes be strict with Akito about the latter neglecting his studies.

Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her.

Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble.

Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing.

Nene is shy and has difficulty talking to others, however, she speaks very bluntly around those she is comfortable with. Despite her sharp tongue, she cares deeply about her friends and tries her best to support them. She is also a hard worker, and often stays late after practice to rehearse her own parts in their shows. Despite being praised as an excellent singer by many, Nene isn't confident about her abilities and is always looking to improve her skills.

A carefree genius director. Formerly a solo performer, Rui found a new home among the Wonderlands X Showtime members, who accepted his bold ideas. In his search for a way for the troupe to stay together despite chasing different dreams, he has devised an arrangement that lets them put on shows together while each still following their chosen path.

Though antisocial, Kanade is extremely kind and caring to those close to her. She often puts the needs of others before herself, overworking herself for the sake of her music. Kanade's entire life is dedicated to composing, often putting off sleep, eating, and going outside to focus on writing music.

Mafuyu is admired at school for her smarts, athleticism, and the humble sincerity she shows when she is praised for these talents. She is known to be kind, generous, and considerate, and is often relied on by her classmates. 

However, to herself and the other members of her unit, she is dispassionate, largely lacking in emotion and empathy. She speaks in few words, and is often honest to the point of cruelty. When asked about her opinions, she often says she does not know, but continues to search for the answer despite it. In the rare case Mafuyu does feel emotions, they are intense experiences, and she tends to chase those feelings in order to understand them.

Ena is an extremely strong-willed person who always speaks her mind. She is harshly critical of her own art, regularly feeling frustrated by setbacks from her lack of talent. Ena is also easily flustered or angered, often being teased and called a "tsundere". While blunt and sarcastic, she also has a caring softer side she doesn't like to admit to, especially in the case with Mafuyu. Despite her harsh act, Ena is often the first person to lend a hand when a friend is in trouble, as she never hesitates for the people that she cares about.

Her strong determination to prove herself as an artist clashes with her low self esteem and her intense craving for praise, stemming from her father's disapproval of her desire to pursue art. She has also admitted to how she hates herself for being unable to draw without recognition. A part of her self-esteem comes from the comments on her selfies and art in 25-ji, Nightcord de.'s music videos.

Mizuki is a moody person, and Kanade thinks they only act on their own principles. They have a strong desire to express themselves freely, and can become frustrated and upset when ridiculed. They have an obsession with cute things, expressing it through their hand-altered fashion.

Despite their energetic, carefree, and sometimes childish demeanor, Mizuki is often shown to be the most mature member of their circle, as Ena admits.They often assume the role of mediator in arguments, breaking things up between Mafuyu and Ena.
