Project Overview
Hello! We're looking for 14 x male voice actors who are able to perform a wide range of characters and accents for an indie, online web browser based soccer management game. Players can unlock collectable cards, and each card has three voice lines that are triggered when the card is unlocked. The characters are fairly cartoonish/animated and these lines are spoken almost like a catchphrase / taunt, and so should be delivered with energy and character.
The most important thing, is that each character sounds as unique as possible, so voice actors able to perform a wide range of voices/characters/accents would be ideal. Each actor hired, will be required to voice 6 cards (characters) in total, with each card containing three separate phrases, of around 5 - 8 words (approx 21 words per character x 6 = around 126 words in total.) There are characters from a range of ethnic backgrounds, and so all ethnicities and accents are encouraged to audition. The client has a relatively small budget given the number of cards that need recording across the whole project (500+) however, and with this in mind, we have a budget of $3.33 per card ($20 per voice actor). Each card will have an image of the character, to give VAs some inspiration for the voice. Actors will have free-reign over voices for some cards, while others may have a specific style (monster, drill sergeant, old man etc) or a specific accent (Italian, Southern US, British etc) listed. The accents don't necessarily need to be spot on, but please only audition if you're happy to perform across a range, are happy with the proposed rate, and can deliver finished audio within 72 hours of being hired.
As previously stated, the most important thing, is that each character sounds as unique as possible across each of the voices you provide.
The platform only allows for three audition lines, however feel free to repeat lines in other voices styles/accents you have. Looking forward to receiving your auditions!
