The Starlight Files is a subplot of Project Battlefield and connects directly to the lore in the style of analogue horror. It follows a paranormal investigation team under the name 'Atlas'. They do what explorers usually do; go to abandoned places and record their findings. One day, it all comes to an end. All of the members of Atlas mysteriously disappear and nobody can find their whereabouts. It is up to the Starlight Corporation to find clues and end the mystery once and for all.
Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic week! I'm here to announce that the roles for the Starlight Files have been chosen and I'm surprised to say half of y'all had something going but y'know there's always a bigger fish! Run of the mill narrator you would typically find during instruction tapes of a company and or corporation. Not too monotone or bright, something in between should sound like something you would hear in the Fallout franchise.
[Enthusiastic but Calm] Here at the Starlight Corporation, we believe in innovation and hard work!
[Enthusiastic pt.2 but Slightly Condescending] Our research and security staff are always on the clock twenty-four seven to ensure the safety of mankind!
[Eerie & Whispering] They are all dead. They are all dead.
[Calm] It's been a couple of months since a containment breach so I don't think you should stress it too much.
[Confused] When did we ever get a new entity?
[Concerned] It's a little too quiet...where's our security department officers at?
This Senior Researcher is more on the serious side and takes their job a little more seriously, tearing up any lower ranks for even the smallest mistakes.
[Scowling] If you choose to believe this job is a joke, then please be my honor in doing Euclid Entities.
[Disappointed] This field report is completely wrong! This is unbelievable! We're supposed to be a professional environment and you're making us look bad!
[Calm] Yes, I understand sir. I will not let you down.
This Lead Researcher is not the type of person you'd want to toy around with. They work strictly under the Director of the Starlight Corporation and ensures that everything is steady. God forbid something bad happen or you'll be disposed of accordingly.
[Obediently] No worries Director Williams, this latest entity has been swiftly contained and testing will occur once we have everything in check.
[Angrily] Dr. Lumen, I cannot believe you authorized testing on a Euclid Entity when you clearly don't have experience on a Safe one!
[Commanding] Get Bravo-95 on-site, now.
A prime witness of Austins' disappearances, he's grown concerned about what's happening and demands answers.
[Afraid] W-Where am I...? Did I get taken hostage?
[Interfering] You need to do something or I'll take matters into my own hands!
[Angrily] Unbelievable. You can't do anything because there's 'lack of evidence', if you'd actually watch the news, you'd see what the hell is going on outside!
This Commander is one of the corporations most loyalest members, engaging in all sorts of combat and ensuring safety with researchers and civilians alike.
[Calm but Serious] Alright boys, we got a call down at Site-17, keep it tight and shoot any remaining hostiles.
[Demanding] Who the hell are you and what did you do with Entity-087?!
[Afraid] Bravo-95 to Command, our men are dropping like flies! Pull us out of here!
The cameraman of the group, although he stays quiet most of the time considering he does wield the power of recording. Plus he's mentioned several times that he doesn't enjoy the sound of his own voice.
[Shyly] I don't know guys, this seems quite dangerous...
[Nervously] These views better be worth my life...
The 'fun' one of the group, she tends to goof around during explorations and goes out of her way to scare the other members of Atlas. Everyone thinks it's annoying but Issac tolerates it to an extent.
[Cheery] C'mon Issac, live a little!
[Amusing] Ooo, spooky ghosts scare you huh?
[Afraid] Alright guys...this isn't funny, you can come out now...
Considered the 'muscle' of the group, he usually tends to be the first to delve first into the darkness and spark the most chaos.
[Confidently] C'mon guys, you guys aren't afraid of forests this much right?
[Disappointed] Yeesh, didn't think a branch would scare the hell out of you, Issac.
[Confused] Hey, where'd you guys go? This isn't funny.
The 'Marksman' of the group, she carries weapons at all times, whether it's a knife or a standard hand pistol, she wants to protect the group from the dangers costing their lives during expeditions.
[Grudgingly] Isabella, could you keep it down? God forbid something attacks us while we're here.
[Alert] You guys hear that or was it just me?
[Doubtingly] Oh please Elliot, you'd probably get folded like an omelette by the next thing that attacks us.
