Alice in Highschool
Project Overview
ProjectAcquire is an original podcast featuring scripts from
all kinds of different genres and universes with the real question being who
and what exactly is doing the collecting? We have a tentative release date for
this summer but we want to spend our time making each script and episode is
best as possible. So, we will only be auditioning and working on one script at
a time.
We are auditioning for two supporting roles for Alice In
High School, a modern-day remake of Alice in Wonderland featuring cameos from a
wide variety of literary classics. These
roles are non-paid and require a decent mic and someone passionate and willing
to work hard.

An over the top, hipster who left over spring break to backpack through Europe and still has not made it home. He enjoys talking in circles and hearing his own voice. The boy creates drama wherever he goes but is just clever enough to worm his way out of it looking like the "hero" of the story. He does believe what he says though.
We are looking for a unique character voice that captures the mentality of people who unironically use sheeple everywhere.
Range: Moderately low to deep, dramatic and melodic
(Very, very, very loosely based on Odysseus from the Odyssey.)
I fear I have done many a dangerous thing now that I am on my own relying only on my wit, and the blessings of whichever god dares to guide me. I long for home. I long to help you through your troubled times but I must go on.
I recently found myself trapped in a hostel with only sheeple as companions, who cared for nothing but wine and pleasantries of women.
We talked many hours, they called me no one at first but at the end of the night we left as friends. There purposes as people awakened again.
Wendy is the darling of StoryBroke high. She's popular, has perfect grades and is head cheerleader. Although she tries to deny it Wendy realizes she’s growing up and is secretly mature always looking after Peter and his gang. She is especially worried about her little sister Alice after her memory loss, though she wouldn't outright admit it. Does not have valley girl voice. She is a real teenage girl with real faults, but has a good heart.
(Loosely based of Wendy from Peter Pan)
(teasingly) Hey Neeeeerd. Do you have my jacket. Peter's taking me to the Lost Boy's tonight.
Oh right. (Snaps finger) Sinkhole. Memory loss. You wouldn't know.
