Project Overview

Power Rangers Data Squadron is a podcast/audiobook that has been in production since June of 2017 and is a Disney Era inspired Power Rangers adaption of Tokumei Sentai GoBusters... which was skipped over until recently but I've been working on Data Squadron for a long time so I'm still continuing it.

Data Squadron takes place in the RPM universe, the computer virus Venjix has taken over the world and humanity is all but gone aside from a collection of domed cities. 

PRDS follows the domed city of Alfheim and the three power rangers that protect it from the Venjix Virus using technology that channels off from a biofield of all living things. 

This casting call will also be opened up later on for two more major characters who will join the cast at a later date.

  • Thanks Everyone and An Announcement

    I thank everyone who auditioned for Data Squadron, since this project is very close to my heart having been worked on even before we had a clue Beast Morphers or Hasbro were in the picture. However, due to such a lack of people auditioning for some roles I am going to have some who auditioned to be placed into other roles depending on who can and who cannot, including a character who wasn't included on the acting list due to appearing later on in series. You will all be cast soon and get PMs or Discord Messages(because I know who some of you are) if you are given a part which you didn't audition for. In the meantime wait for updates and official castings of those who got roles!

Tells literally everything that happens in this audio-based drama. Tells the action and what the characters are doing and fight scenes and all that jazz. Not boring to listen too but not overly animated either.

  • We open to a wasteland, ruins of buildings dot the landscape and not a bit of life or a hint of a living civilization is seen, a recording crackles on.

  •  The bike continues over the Wastelands as we cut to the interior of Alfheim. Inside the skies are blue compared to the orangish-yellow of the outside and large pyramids stand amongst the large city. People are going around living as normally as they can, with military members training to defend the city.

  • Nate and Ian look at the figure in awe before the ranger stands and turns to them.

One of three androids who helped Venjix destroy the world, now trying to conquer Alfheim. Enter is completely encased in a suit of armor so you may have to edit your voice to get that effect. He is also the leader and primary strategist of the three and will not strike without a plan.

  •  Lord Venjix sent us here because he trusts our abilities will make destroying this city easier. A ranger appearing just makes the calculations a bit more challenging, and a lot more fun.

  • A failure would make Lord Venjix very disappointed. And we don't want that do we?

A compassionate person and one of three leaders of Alfheim. Doctor Reeds is in charge of the technology that keeps the city going and tries to support the rangers as best as she can.

He means well but focuses the most on what he believes Alfheim needs to survive. One of three leaders of the city and he is in charge of the civilians and making sure they have resources.

Stern and serious and tries to keep those in Alfheim safe. One of the three leaders of Alfheim and he is in charge of the military, that isn't ranger based, to protect the city from Venjix. 

  • We can not spare any soldiers currently. Alfheim’s defenses are weak as is and we won’t risk it all for an experiment.

  • There’s still at least a human there, we can deal with whatever the half might be. Alert Dr. R and lower the shields so they can get in!

  • Reeds, Locke. Stop your arguing. The scans show that the cyborg has no cybernetics in the brain and the other one is clean. If she wants them she can have them, as long as the cyborg is under supervision.
