A couple notes on the voiceover process
Hi everyone, this is Viflame, lead dev. I registered on Casting Call Club recently because I was having trouble finding voice actors for the mod. I was very surprised by the number of submissions, which I'm very happy about. I listened to all the demos and did not expect to find so many talented people. So I think I'll explain a little bit how I plan to approach the voice acting process:
Unlike Bertram and the high-ranking scientist, the androids in the mod are a full-fledged species working in a lab. As outlined in the character description, the character can vary from model to model, so androids don't even have to speak in one particular voice. I.e. in theory I can recruit people for the android role until I run out of androids themselves, hehehe.
So I'll make a suggestion that you can accept or decline: if your voice doesn't end up being the voice of Bertram or the scientist, but you still want to participate in voice acting, I can find you a role as an android. What do you think?
P.s. I'm not publicly commenting on the demo voiceover yet, but I'm taking notes for myself. Thanks for already responding or considering recording your demo. I really appreciate it. I think near the end of the deadline I'll make up my mind.
