PixelBay - Pop Culture Countdown Narrators Needed

PixelBay - Pop Culture Countdown Narrators Needed

Project Overview

I am creating a new channel known as PixelBay  (not to be confused with Pixabay.)

This channel is one I am searching for narrators to be on, I will be doing videos as well as others, there is no set schedule for this channel, especially for this time frame. I am flexible. The channel will fixate on pop culture much like most of my other channels.

It would help if you had Discord too.

  • Video Editors!

Please, if you want to do more than just be a narrator or writer, consider doing something that would be even better than simply writing or narrating. Be a video editor! I am in need of them. I am the only one who makes the videos.
  • Video editors

Yes you read that right if you want to be a part of PixelBay without being a writer or video presenter you can be a video editor!
  • Writers?

I know I'm asking a lot. But, I am looking for other writers to make their own countdowns. Unlike most of my other content I am looking for other writers to make their own countdowns. More information in the "Writers" audition description.

Male Narrators

Unpaid
cast offsite

Any voice will do, so long as it can be understood.

Requirements:
Good quality microphone (No static and low-end headset / laptop microphones).
Social Media (for credit purposes it can be YouTube, CCC, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

  • When video games first began they were
just pixels on a black screen. Nowadays game developers can really make you feel
like you are in the shoes of whatever character you are playing as, but
some games just poke fun at that by having the playable character look
to the screen and speak to the player.  5 Games That Broke the Fourth
    Wall.

  • Hello everyone and welcome to PixelBay. I'm your host *insert name here* and without further ado, let's get into this countdown.

  • Did you enjoy this video? If you did remember to like this video, subscribe to PixelBay for more Pop Culture countdowns like this, and turn on that bell notification system so you are the first to know when we upload.

(Message me about the opportunity).

So, you want to be a writer for the channel? Perfect! As a writer, you will be in charge of what is said in a countdown. I am not expecting professional quality (this is unpaid after all), but I do have basic requirements that most any writer should already know:

1. You must be able to write English well.
2. You must tell me what your video idea is (unless I provide you with one which MAY happen).
3. You must provide me the script once finished. Afterwards, I will edit it for mistakes and replace wording if I see fit.
4. You MUST have fun.

Benefits:

1. Credit and experience.
2. You can set your time. I will not pressure you to make a script in a specific amount of time.
3. You can learn the weirdness of the internet.
4. You can choose what scripts you write. While I may request a script for you to write, don't take this as a mandatory thing. You can say no to any script I request.

  • *Optional* Tell me why you want to do this.

  • *Optional* Tell me about yourself.

I know this is pretty stupid of me to expect people will be interested in this, but here we go. Hi! I'm Gabriel and I run a pop culture countdown channel, I am currently the sole video editor for my channel, but I am looking to expand on that. I currently have eight videos out on the channel. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyqqj3KOa01qn2-H3Vu9lYQ/videos) That is the quality you are meant to emulate. Though, I am open to new video quality. I understand people have a life and won't want to work all day, that being said, there will not be a heavy set deadline . . . though I will be asking the progression of how the video is coming along if there is radio silence for a week or so. You will be provided the common use icons (the font, the background for any video, and the intro). Below are the simple to follow requirements.

Requirements:

1. Must use either Vegas, Hitfilm Expres 2017 (Preferred), Adobe Premiere, or any good video editor (Not Movie Maker).

2. Must be willing to work for credit.

3. Links for crediting purposes (YouTube, CCC, Twitter, Instagram, Newgrounds, etc., you don't have to have links if not comfortable)

4. Have a name set in place you want to be credited as, you can use your real name or an alias.

5. Have work to show.

6. HAVE FUN!

Please message me and send me a link or file containing an example of your editing style.

*Optional* Have a Discord, if not that is fine, it is simply a way for you to meet the rest of the Pixel Crew.

Thank you for reading, Gabriel.
