Pokémon Violet Fandub: Pokémon Voices needed!
Project Overview
Hello there, everyone!
I'm looking for voice actors/actresses and additional roles for an upcoming Pokémon Violet fandub! Currently, the fandub will cover all of the main story content (as I'm not sure if I'll be able to dub the post-game content and the DLC) and all of the roles will be pretty straightforward.
Here, this casting call is going to be a little different. That's right, this one is for Pokémon, speaking as if the fandub is an anime! There are probably going to be some inconstinces with the actual anime voices (for the Gen 9 mons) when Pokémon Horizons comes out in the US, but it doesn't matter. Additionally, not all Pokémon will appear voiced in the game. I will be adding more Pokémon that need voices as the fandub's episodes are uploaded.
For Pikachu, there will be two different auditions, and both of them will be male. One of them doesn't have to exactly match Ikue Otani's voice for the Electric Mouse, but the role for Ash's Pikachu must sound similar.
For Pawmi, I will pick both the best female voice and the best male voice, not the best of just one gender.
UPDATE: The female Pawmi's voice has been confirmed! The role is currently open only for male Pawmi.
Please note that the deadline on CCC is not accurate. The actual deadline will be on June 29.
-Requirements-
- A decent microphone (no static, popping, or background noise!) is absolutely required.
- You're free to audition for as many roles as you like! You're also allowed to record as many takes as you feel comfortable with.
- Please include your preferred contact details. (CCC DMs, Discord, Twitter, Email etc.)
- No previous experience in voice acting is required (although it is appreciated!)
- Have fun! :)
Feel free to add more lines to your audition if you think the three lines below each Pokémon's description aren't enough! Just experiment and perform the way you feel comfortable with!
Thank you for reading and I hope to get to work with you!

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it is a futuristic relative of Cyclizar. Miraidon has five different forms when it travels the Paldea region or adapts to a situation.
