Hello all, This is an unpaid casting call for the voice over of Chapter 1 in the sprite animated web series Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Valiant Heart , the story of a young Tinkatuff searching for her mother in a world pushed to ruin by Paradox Pokemon of mysterious origin. On her journey she will encounter new friends, face many tribulations, and come to understand the very truth behind the plight on her world, all with a hammer in hand and a heart full of hope.
This will be the 2nd entry into the voice acting project PMD: Valiant Heart VOICED, approved of and made in collaboration with the series' creator Matropical to find the best voices to represent the series' characters! We currently have 4 roles in need of voices for Chapter 1 of the series (2 major, 2 minor). We’d love to have your help in bringing these characters to life and elevating the work of PMD Valiant Heart!
Requirements

Audition lines should be submitted in ABCABC order (Line 1, Line 2, Line 3 BREAK). Submissions not in this order may be rejected.
Please submit your best 2 to 3 takes per line in your audition .
Do NOT utilize A.I tools or apply voice filters on your auditions to alter your voice in your audio. Auditions that do so will be rejected.
Asides from removing background hum or noises, do not heavily clean your audition audio. Raw audition files are accepted.
Clean XLR Mic auditions are preferred, but USB mic auditions are gladly accepted.
Auditioners must be 16 years or older.
(Chapter 0): The Tera Crystal, an ancient artifact that can alter time and reality to whatever the wielder wishes, falls into the hands of a mysterious Pokémon. Soon after, a beacon of light pierced the sky and mechanical creatures resembling Pokémon began invading the land, annihilating everything in their paths. The Tinkaton Juno and the Garchomp Gladius return to their home known as Diabun Town to rescue the Tinkatink Ramie and fight futuristic Pokémon from destroying the guild, including one interested in taking Ramie using whatever means necessary…
(Chapter 1): 7 years into the future, the world has become desolate. Paradox Pokémon known as Ironmon roam the continent to eliminate all native pokémon they find. Those who evade the Ironmon scavenge, travel, and fight back to survive, including those living under the grounds of the former exploration guild known as Relic Guild. Among them, the determined Tinkatuff Ramie ventures out day after day fighting Ironmon, saving helpless Pokémon, and searching for her mother Juno after her disappearance years ago. Though her goal isn’t easy, with her close friends by her side and the support of her guildmates, she is determined to find her mother and take on any iron foe in her way. Voice Actor
(Major Role)
Dash (15) is a deuteragonist and close friend of the main character Ramie. A quiet Raboot from the Relic Guild who is highly capable and quick on his feet, often using tricks to misdirect foes. He is quite aloof and usually chooses to do missions on his own as a scouter. However, he does care very deeply for others, especially those who need help the most.
Voice Direction: Medium masculine voice. Soft spoken and cool.

Izu (16) is another deuteragonist and close friend of the main character Ramie. A dependable Dewott and the daughter of the Samurott Kojiro, the Guildmaster of Relic Guild. She acts as the Guild assistant and is tasked with keeping many duties and affairs of the guild in order. She is responsible and upstanding, but can get hot-headed when something ticks her off.
Voice Direction: Medium to high feminine voice. Tomboy-ish and upstanding.

Iron Hands (Ageless) is a minor antagonist of Chapter 1. An "Ironmon" of unknown origin, tasked with guarding a resource deposit from normal intruders. Though seen as a machine, it is cruel and unforgiving, with a cocky and inflated view of its own strength.
Voice Direction: Low rumbling masculine voice. Monotone and robotic.

(Minor Role)
Petié (15) is a minor character and Relic Guild member. A timid and anxious Espurr that works as a scouter for the guild. She appears to be shy and fearful at most times, often overthinking things and observing the world around her as if something might suddenly pounce. Even with this anxiety, she has a hope in her heart that drives her to help others and try to be braver each day. She looks up to Ramie and tries her hardest to have a heart as brave as hers.
Voice Direction: High feminine voice. Soft spoken and quiet, a little shaky.
Voice References: Rice Shower from “Umamusume: Pretty Derby” and/or Bernadetta Von Varley from “FE: Three Houses” with a softer voice.

Video Editor
In an effort to increase the speed of production so episodes can release at a faster rate, we are looking for someone capable of assisting the current editor, specifically in the video editing process. Access to Adobe Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve for ease of file sharing is required.
Tasks in this role will consist of extending and/or shortening the length of scenes and dialogue on-screen, occasionally duplicating dialogue and portrait boxes to replace others, and aligning sfx with given scenes.
Applicants should:
Have a general understanding of the editing tools available in Davinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
Be able to cut, shorten, extend and transform video using the tools provided in software previously mentioned.
Be able to comfortably create and utilize Opacity Masks and Crop Masks to add, remove and modify a video's visual elements.
Unfortunately this position is unpaid at this time.
