MONOWAVE - English Storybook Narrator (Paid, 70 words)
Project Overview
We're Studio BBB, the developers of MONOWAVE, a puzzle-adventure platformer about sharing emotions. We're casting one English narrator for a future update to the game.
The job is the animated opening: 54 seconds, with 70 words including the title. The game is already released, and the animation and music are complete. We want a warm storybook read that starts peacefully and becomes sadder as the tree loses its light.
Pay: US$200 flat fee for the opening, including a main take, an alternate take and one consolidated pickup round on the unchanged script within the agreed direction. The recording is for the in-game English opening, with a game credit. We will agree payment details, usage and the recording schedule before booking. Script changes or additional work will be quoted separately.
Please watch the reference and read the whole script once. Submit one voice-only MP3 through the narrator role below. All genders and English accents are welcome. We will review all auditions submitted by the deadline before casting.
Auditions close on October 3, 2026 at 07:00 UTC (16:00 KST / 00:00 PDT).

One English narrator. All genders and English accents are welcome. We'd like a warm, clear storybook read: peaceful at first, then sadder as the tree loses its light and the spirits leave. Please keep it natural rather than using a big trailer voice or an exaggerated children's TV voice.
Read all three sections below in order as one take, including the opening title: 70 words in total. Do not read the note in brackets. Submit one voice-only MP3 using the setup you would use for the final recording. No spoken introduction, music or effects. You don't need to make a video or split the lines into files.
Watch the video first. Follow the scene and its pauses, including the long pause after 'But one day,'. You don't need to match each subtitle fade exactly; connected sentences can continue across subtitle changes. Studio BBB handles detailed timing edits and mixing.

A World Made of Emotions
The Prism Tree spread emotions of every hue evenly throughout the world. And so, the spirits, filled with many different emotions, lived together in harmony.
But one day, [Pause as shown in the video.] the tree's Emotion Shards had vanished. The tree slowly lost its light and began to wither, and the spirits left it, one by one. And so the world, having lost its emotional harmony, was plunged into chaos.
