General DescriptionProject Pokemon Gambit is a project for 2 separate parallel fictional reality tv shows that will coincide with each other on YouTube, these being Pokemon Campground and Island Gambit.
(Both shows are basically just Total Drama Island but with pokemon. Humans don't exist in these shows, acting more like the mystery dungeon and pokepark games.)
Pokémon CampgroundThe sister show to Island Gambit is Pokémon Campground, which takes place at a cruddy summer camp in the middle of the woods. The show is hosted by Gallade and Lilligant, two post golden age celebrities who are just trying to get back out there.
Island GambitThe sister show to Pokemon Campground is Island Gambit, which takes place on a tropical island resort in the middle of nowhere. Unlike their sister show, Starter’s Gambit’s host Gardevior is still in his golden years of being a celebrity. Also unlike their sister show, Island gambit seems to be more professional compared to the more unprofessional go with the flow style of Pokémon Campground.
Both shows have the same basic idea; 18 contestants from ages 16-20 compete in challenges and vote each other out one with the goal of being the last player standing. The winner will receive 500,000 dollars if they can be the last contestant standing.
A little bit about me / Why i'm making the project:The truth is, I always wanted to make an animated series to put on YouTube like the many others I've seen over the years. And though I can be a little overly ambitious at times, I'm sure I'll get there eventually if I try hard enough.

Wow, I can’t believe how many auditions we’ve received over the last few weeks! I’m super excited to see what other auditions we’ll get in the future. I want to thank everyone who’s auditioned so far, and those who genuinely believe that this project has the potential to be successful!
Although the deadline is for the end of the month, I’m thinking about pushing it back another month or two. 😅

Gallade is one of the 2 hosts of Pokémon Campground. He’s an EX celebrity who used to star in action movies back in the day. After years of being on and off the camera within the last few years, he slowly lost his edge and only really makes sarcastic remarks and mildly offensive humor.
[Cocky] “Hello everyone, and welcome to Pokémon Campground! I’m your stunning host, Gallde!”
[Annoyed] *Sigh* “Put him down, Lilligant… we don’t want another lawsuit…”
[Horrified] “I’m too sexy to die!!!” *Screaming crying*

Lilligant is the Co-Host of Pokémon Campground.
Liligant is an EX celebrity who used to host her own cooking show back in the day, but it got canceled after one season after an actor died on live television. Since then, she’s been taking jobs as extras in movies and even landed a few leading roles. She’s also known for being a little bit insane, but it won’t stop her from cooking great food and treating the campers like her own.
[Proud] “And I’m the lovely Lilligant! I’ll be making the delicious food here for the darling contestants!” *wink*
[Offended] “Just rocking?? I’ll have you know that I used to have a cooking show! It was loved by many!”
[Unintentionally Creepy] “Oh my god, you’re just so adorable! I could just you up into little pieces!~”

Arcanine is a chill kind soul who always has everyone’s best interest at heart. He used to work on a farm in the countryside which is why he’s pretty strong. As one of Lilligant’s interns, he usually helps by setting up the campfire every night and occasionally helps serve food.
[Neutral] “Howdy, The name’s Arcanine.”
[Nervous + Cocky] “I uh… I’m auditioning for this here tele-viewer councilor thang… let’s see here, uh… oh! I’m as strong as an ox, charmin’ as a box of chalk! And the ladies say I’m quite the looker~” *Wink*
[Awkward] “Uh… guys? We’re still rolling….”

Poliwrath is a grumpy guy who used to be a professional boxer before joining the movie industry. He views himself as more of an “enforcer” rather than a camp counselor. Poliwrath also drives the bus to and from the campground, usually bringing the contestants to the nearby town for certain challenges. He’s also known for his bossy behavior and strict rules for the cabin.
[Serious] “Sergeant Poliwrath reporting for duty, sir!”
[Stern] “Alright kids! You’re about to give your introductions! So remember that you’re all on TV!!”
[Stern] *Walks into the cabin and grab’s Sentret by the ear.* “Alright, maggots. It’s officially curfew. Get back to the cabin!”
She/Her - Pan - Adult
Leavanny is an Upbeat supportive motherly type who is very artistically gifted, being able to do anything she puts her mind to. Unlike Lilligant, she can’t cook for shit and doesn’t have a body count. Because of their similar personalities, they tend to bond more than Leavanny with her actual boss. Her running joke is that she never gets Gallade’s jokes, but when someone else repeats it, she’ll understand it perfectly and burst into laughter.
[Cheery] “Hi hi hiiii! Leavanny here! I'm here to audition for the role of camp counselor!”
[Concerned] *Whispering* “That guy isn’t the pervert you were talking about, right
[Excited] “Ok good. Is that a guitar? Ooo, yes! I love music!”

Ninetails is a calm woman who is seen as the “cool intern” who genuinely doesn’t care about her job. She’s pretty lazy compared to the others, which results in some challenges missing certain features leading to loopholes that the contestants can usually exploit. She loves sneaking into town and buying snacks for the girls in her cabin.
[Hyped] “You girls ready to get some motherfucking snacks?!”
[Nonchalant] “I know a place that sells Awesome peach mochi if you gals wanna check it out.”
[Cocky] “I know I know, I’m the best. Oh, and let’s keep this between us, yeah? This is kinda my only source of income at the moment…”
She/Her - Pan - Trans Female [MTF]
Emolga is a gamer girl who wants to touch some grass and make some friends. Though her social skills aren’t the best, she makes up for it with her wit and crazy fast reflexes thanks to all of the rhythm games she plays, alongside other hidden abilities.
[Disappointed + Annoyed] “Dang it! I lost again!”
[Causal] “…Huh? Oh! Sorry! Anyways, I’m Emolga! I was told to go out and “Touch some grass” so here I am!”
[Offended] “STUPID?! My games are NOT stupid! Your makeup is what’s STUPID

Hawlucha is a prickly bully who has a major god complex. He believes that the world revolves around him, and that he can get anything he wants with a growl and some muscle. He isn’t the brightest guy, but he is the strongest.
Outside of the show, Hawlucha is the captain of multiple sports teams in his school.
[Mocking] “Hah! Like you could ever get laid!”
[Snarky] “You heard what I said. Maybe grow a pair and get over it, gramps!”
[Dismissive] “Stop talking, Queer.” *Hawlucha gives Riolu a nasty glare after rudely cutting Riolu off.*
She/They - Biromantic - Asexual - Transgender
Litwick is a shy girl who hates confrontation, and avoids the rest of the campers because she assumes that everyone is out to get her. She tends to be very self conscious about herself due to the fact that she’s in the middle of transitioning. Due to her timid demeanor, she tends to get misgendered by others which only makes her more self conscious.
[Panicked] “AHH! Gimme a minute to get mentally prepared!”
[Nervous] “…oh o-ok”
[Nervous + Dismissive] “U-Um… that’s not how it works…”
He/Him - Bi
Riolu is an awkward guy who struggles to get what he’s saying across. He’s also a hopeless romantic, and finds himself falling for Hawlucha, who isn’t the nicest person to be around. The only reason he signed up for the show was so that he could build some confidence and learn how to make more friends.
[Nervous] “Uh Hi! I’m riolu! How’s the weather? Wait...that sounded really stupid...lemme try something else...um...Howdy!! Ugh! That’s even stupider!! How about...what’s up my dude! No, that's stupid too!! … … a-anyways, I’m-”
[Flustered] *Visibly nervous* W-Woah! Y-Your muscles are huge! *He realizes what he had just blurted out, and tries to play it off.* I-I mean, hi! I’m-
[Concerned] “B-But it sounded so convincing! Joltik even knew a knife at it!”

Munna is a sleepyhead who forgot her medication at home, and now struggles to stay awake most of the time. She also loves to support others despite her lazy nature. She wants to do more in life, but can’t do it thanks to her condition that makes her 60% more tired than the average Pokémon.
[Neutral & Dozing Off] “Oh… I can sense that we are almost there…”
[Annoyed] “Oh… that’s just my condition flaring up… I have this thing where I have way less energy than the average Pokémon… I have medication for it...but I left it at home…”
[Drowsy] “Zzzz… The river’s sounds are…… zzzzzz.”

Vulpix is a girl who loves to analyze everything. She’s distant and cold, and will stalk others for information. She doesn’t really talk to anyone unless they talk to her first, so she keeps her mouth shut most of the time. She also isn’t easily fooled or tricked.
[Neutral] “…There isn’t anything of interest here. You’re free to go explore at your leisure, but you won’t find anything.”
[Neutral] “…I followed your group.”
[Neutral] “…I have my reasons.”

Clefairy is a pretty normal guy actually. Just your run of the mill normal guy who just wants money. No specific personality traits. Just a chill guy.
[Confused followed by Excited] “ Uh… well… the brochure says that the camp will be outside! Cool, right??” *Take out a brochure ad gets closer to Jangmo-o* “Here, lemme show you!”
[Fascinated followed by Confused ]“That's pretty cool! Hey, you guys look familiar. Weren’t you in an action movie once? It was like… a superhero movie?”
[Nonchalant] “…Well you don’t see that every day.” *Dusts himself off.*

Torchic is a dumb jock who studies kickboxing. She loves to drink protein and pump weights. She also tends to lash out when she gets upset, and is very passionate about winning. Also she can supplex anyone.
[Confused] *Lifting Weights* “41…42…43…uh...43...57?”
[Frustrated] “HUH?!” *She looks at Munna* “If we’re almost there… then why are you falling back asleep!?”
[Annoyed] “Yeah yeah, you can stop your blubbering, man. None of us are in any real danger anyway.”

Deerling is a pretty boy who’s eyes glimmer when the sun hits them. He wants the prize money to afford to live on his own for mysterious reasons. He’s a soft speaker and a really nice guy who surprisingly doesn’t show much interest in being in a relationship despite girls constantly swooning over him.
[Scared] “Well yeah…um… Sorry, could we maybe stop talking about this?” *His eyes glimmer with sadness*
[Fascinated] “That is a fantastic idea, Purrloin!”
[Confused] “Huh? Do what now?”
She/Her - Lesbian
Zorua is a prankster who changes her appearance just to mess with people. Her favorite kind of pranks are physical humor, but only makes people cry or spraining their ankle at worst. Despite coming off as a silly jokester, she’s actually quite smart.
[Dismissive yet Excited] (Whispering) “No no, this is entertaining!” *Zorua pulls out some popcorn*
[Playful] “Kee hee hee!” (
[Annoyed + Lying] *Grins* Ugh, I’ll go check on Litwick…

Noibat is a rockstar wannabe who loves metal and rock music. He also speaks loudly by accident at times. When he isn’t yelling, he plays his guitar or listens to some music. But underneath all of that punk rock stuff, he’s a really caring guy who just wants to see the best in people.
[Excited] ”YOOOOO!!! WHAT’S GOOD, PARTY PEOPLE!?
[Proud and Excited] “I THINK I SEE A VILLAGE!”
[Embassassd] “I thought this was the guy’s cabin! It’s hard for me to see in the dark, yknow!

Togedemaru (Toga for short) is a little ball of high energy. She’s fun and bounces around. As one of the fastest people in the game, she gets around by rolling up into a ball and zooms around. However, when she uses up too much energy, she tends to pass out for hours at a time.
[Excited] "Oh. My. Gosh!! Are you Lilligant & Gallade?? I’ve seen tons of your movies and shows before! You guys are much taller in person! Is this camp? When is arts and crafts? What are the others like? Do you think they’ll like me?? You wanna see me run?!"
[Clueless and Confused] "…Ok so, am I the only one who never understands what Joltik is talking about??"
[Cocky] "Oh yeah?? I’d like to see you catch up, Hawk boy!!"

Sentret is a jokester who wants to make people laugh, but comes off as a creep towards women. When he isn’t telling a joke that no one laughs at, he’s harassing the girls at camp. good thing he isn’t very strong. He also tends to get scared by things like ghosts and the supernatural.
[Infatuated - Excited] "I get to eat food prepared by a goddess like you?! That’s like a part of you being inside of me!!"
[Terrified] "AGH!! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRYYYY!!” *blood curdling scream* (you don’t have to do the blood curdling scream)

Jangmo-o (or Jang for short) is a stand-offish guy who doesn’t like to be bothered. He doesn’t usually speak, only saying brief sentences or just singular words at times. He hates the idea of socializing, and has major trust issues for unknown reasons.
[Menacing] "…if you touch that Munna while she’s asleep… I’ll drown you in the river."
[Annoyed] "…Man you’re negative."

Purrloin is a fashionista diva, who cares deeply about her looks. Nothing matters more to her than fashion and looking good. She also tends to speak her mind, and hates it when people try to get in her face or argue with her.
[Annoyed] "Hey! You know he was just trying to be nice, right?"
[Condescending/Nonchalant] "Oh… uh… how do I say this? You kinda look like you let yourself… go. I’m not saying that you’re ugly or anything! …Just that you need to try a little harder than the rest of us."
[Annoyed] "Ugh, you two are such idiots! Of course you’d use the prize money on stupid stuff like steroids and “world domination,” whatever that means! At least Deerling has a legit reason for wanting the money!"

Joltik is a psychopathic little arachnid who wants to take over the world. They constantly threaten people with a very sharp knife that they have with them at all times, expecting them to do what they want. Rumor has it that they might have ties with the mafia or something.

Buneary is a semi-popular model who tends to come off as a “higher than thou girl” and “Untouchable beauty” Despite her kind and sweet demeanor. Despite being silent and having a resting bitch face, Buneary is actually a pretty nice girl with a kind soul who’s naive nature often causes others around her to manipulate her.
[Nervous & Excited] “Hi everyone! I’m really excited to be here and meet you all!”
