Welcome to the English fandub of Plastic Memories!
- Synopsis -"After failing his college entrance exams, 18 year-old Tsukasa Mizugaki is offered a position at the renowned SAI Corporation due to his father’s connections. SAI Corporation is known for its production and management of androids that possess human emotions called Giftia.
Tsukasa’s position is in the Terminal Service department where the main job is to recover Giftias that are close to their expiration, a graveyard department in every sense. To make matters worse, Tsukasa is ordered to work with Isla, a female Giftia whose only responsibility has been serving tea to co-workers."
This anime does not have an English dub. As such, actors/actresses will need to be confident in line delivery to match the lip flaps with the English script provided. This is so that the lines will match the timing of mouth movements accordingly.
This will be my directorial/editing debut for a fandubbing series, so I have provided a sample of the intro to episode 1 that I have been editing on my own.
I've added/edited the official music to the appropriate levels, recorded foley sounds from scratch with objects and synths (Some stock sounds for certain things in the future), as well as provided the main character voice.
I do have a background in recording engineering.

Rules for AuditionsI do have a few rules that I want to address as far as auditioning:
Mic Quality: I would like to keep things as professional as possible on the audio side since it's where I have the most experience, so I do ask that audio be free of background noise, audio clicks, pops, etc. This is to ensure that the best quality audio is used.
Auditioning Layout: If auditioning for a voice role, I would like for you to provide at least 2 takes, no more than 3, of your audition. Also have them in ABAB format (unless the role only has 1 audition line).
Scheduling: This will be a long term project and as most people, I have things outside of this project that I do. With that said, I will have deadlines set in place, but I will work with those that are not able to meet the set dates in most instances. We all get busy, and life happens, I get it. But understand you will need to be dedicated until the end regardless.

Have Fun: While I do want this to be a serious take on the anime in English, I still want people to have fun. Remember, this is just a way to practice and get better at acting out a character.
