Project Overview
After a 300 year journey to the edges of our Solar System, the team of É.R.E.B.O.S. finally locate the galactic anomaly, Planet Nine. Chase Moore and Thalia Ware, the youngest scientists on the ship, are assigned to enter the anomaly- regardless of the consequences.

Planet Nine is an 8 episode dramatized sci-fi production. It is a PG audio drama that will be posted online to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.
Please provide two takes per line. Do NOT introduce yourself in the recording. Jump straight into the lines. In the upload notes, include the name you would like to be called in the credits, your email or discord @, and any other relevant information you'd wish to share.

Easily angered, snarky.
Thalia is an ambitious teenager who wants all she can get. From a young age, she’s been competing with Chase Moore for the role of Head of Operations on EREBOS. Two years after being sucked into the black hole, Thalia mysteriously reappears with more power than she knows.

(hurt, angry) “You don’t mean that Chase… Say it again… Say it again! Look me in my eyes and call me a monster!”
(in awe) “Look at this place! The air is so clear. And it’s so… warm [Dr. Smith lines] All due respect, Doc, now that we’re here, I’m gonna enjoy myself. You with me, Chase?
(angry) “Your people? What do you mean ‘your people?’ You can’t trust EREBOS- They tried to throw you into a black hole for God’s sake! And don’t even say ASTRA, you’re just an asset to them. An experiment. I’m your people, Chase! Not them, me.
Kind, sensitive.
Isabella is a botanist alongside her dad in the Produce Wing of EREBOS. Despite their rough past, Bella is willing to do anything in her power to protect Chase, even if it means getting herself in trouble.

(desperate) "Please, don’t do this! There has to be another way. You can’t just throw people into a black hole like they’re disposable!"
(reflective) "Sometimes I wonder if the plants feel it too… the fear, the chaos."
Reliable, kind
Dr. Watson is the Head of Operations on EREBOS. She leads both Thalia and Chase on their mission into Planet Nine. Her main enemy is Captain Reed, who antagonizes both her and the kids

(confident) "Listen, I wouldn’t send you out there if I didn’t believe in you. You’ve got this, Thalia. And Chase, don’t forget—stick together."
(calm but firm) "Captain Reed, with all due respect, this isn’t about your power plays. It’s about keeping everyone on this ship alive. Including you."
(commanding) "Team Alpha, we’ve got a breach in the Research Wing Section 2, Docking Bay, I need a full report in five minutes. Chase, you’re with me."
Sadistic, rude, power-hungry
Reed is the main antagonist of episodes 1-4 of Planet Nine. He tries to send both Chase and Thalia into the anomaly to experiment on its effects on humans.

(snide) "Oh, Dr. Watson. So noble. How’s that working out for you? Because from where I’m standing, you’re losing."
(commanding) "This is the problem with you scientists. You’re all heart and no spine. It’s why you’ll always be beneath me."
(smug) "Go ahead. Make your little plans. Just remember who’s really in charge here."
Helpful, easily angered, smart
As the head of ASTRA, Adrian Smith manages the chaos as EREBOS crash lands into Earth. He greatly supports Chase finishing high school, and is the main reason Thalia’s full power is revealed.

(supportive) "Chase, I see potential in you. Don’t let anyone, not even yourself, tell you otherwise. You belong here."
(frustrated) "You’ve done enough damage already. I’m not letting you near ASTRA equipment again. You’re done."
(intense) "You think I don’t know what’s at stake here? I’ve made sacrifices, too. But this… this is bigger than all of us."
Flirty, sweet, loving
Abby is instantly attracted to Chase, and they hit it off. They soon start dating.

(flirty) "Well, well. Chase, right? I’ve heard a lot about you. But I’ve got to say, you’re even cuter in person."
(lighthearted) "Don’t be so serious all the time! Come on, let’s sneak out and see the stars. What’s the worst that could happen?"
Ambitious, helpful
Addi is a Piloting student for the team of EREBOS. She is top of her class and personally recommended to pilot the ship while Capt. Reed is unavailable.

(excited, confused) “Wait, what? You want me to pilot the ship?”
(cocky) “Trust me, guys. I could land this ship in my sleep! Where’s the cockpit?” [Chase lines] (concerned) “Oh… this might be hard.”
(scared, speed talking) “I’m so, so, so sorry guys, I didn’t think it’d be this hard to land a ship, now we’re all gonna die because of me and- and, (panicking stops) Oh! Wait, I remember how to do this now!”
Gentle, supportive, protective
Martha is Chase and Bella’s mom. Although she is very kind, she will do anything for her kids. Martha works as a teacher, helping the youth of EREBOS find their permanent career.

(questioning) “Who here can answer number 7? What are the 14 wings of EREBOS?”
(angry) “Captain Reed, all due respect, there is nothing respectable about you! You’re sending two children off into a literal black hole- for what? Do you get off to the idea of hurting kids?
(supportive) “Chase, baby, we’re going to get through this.”
Easily angered, but good father
James is a director of botany, in charge of producing new plants/food sources. He is Chase and Bella’s father. He is a kind man, but very hot headed.

(demanding) “Alright, my team! Work with the medics to find a plant we can use. We can’t let this radiation get out of hand."
Stern, brave, blunt
Brad is the Head of Security on EREBOS, as well as Thalia’s dad.

(demanding) “Captain Reed, you’re under arrest.”
(supportive but blunt) “Chase, I’ll investigate the matter, but no promises. These are big accusations.”
Gentle, kind
Jane is Thalia’s mother and a medic on the ship. On Earth, she continues her career as a trauma nurse.
(concerned) “What’s your pain out of ten? I’m worried this might be more than just A.R.S”
Laid back, supportive, nosey
Mr. Brooks is Chase and Alec’s teacher on Earth. He acts as the comedic relief for the penultimate episode and finale when things start to get dark.

(excitedly) “Alrighty class, we have a new student with us! Please welcome… drumroll please… Chase Moore! All the way from Canada! (pause) Come on guys, get excited! We have a new friend with us!”
Kind, loyal, talkative, smart
Ethan is the head of the Medical Department and Bella’s boyfriend. He manages the ship during the radiation outbreak.

(serious) “This is going to be a rough couple of days. A team, you’re with me- Red tags only. B team, you’re with Cara- Yellow tags. C team, split into two- find a cure. Work with the botany crew and control unrelated injuries. And for the love of God, the hazmats stay ON.”
(excitedly) “Come on guys! Look at this place! [person in background groans] (concerned) Oh! Right- my team, damage control.”
Stern, focused, serious
Joey is a medical intern for EREBOS and is Chase’s primary doctor.
