Project Overview
THIS CASTING CALL WILL BE REMADE!
Hello there and welcome to the official casting call for the PHIGHTING! Fandub Project!
As of right now the project is currently unnamed and is still a work in progress however, by the time about majority of the roles get filled will a name be officially chosen.
For the time being any auditions submitted now may be ignored until all of the roles are properly and correctly filled out for ease of fairness!

Sword is a melee Phighter who serves as a 'jack of all trades' within his class. He boasts decent mobility, high melee damage, and solid bulk.
Sword is socially awkward and immature, but heartfelt. Being the swordsman son of a deity, he takes pride in learning new and old techniques and utilizing them in combat, especially in phights. This leads him to shout out some of his moves cheesily. Despite this, his gear being a simple unmodified sword leads many to underestimate him on first impression, much to his ire.
He tends to speak without thinking first. This sometimes annoys others, such as Medkit.
He is faithful to his friends, hyping them up for anything that comes their way and helping them whenever in need.

Skateboard is a melee Phighter that possesses incredible mobility and burst damage. The mobility granted by his board enables him to perform exceptionally well at hit-and-runs.
Skateboard is seen as relaxed, borderline careless, a bit cocky but always looking for fun.

Biograft is a melee Phighter that specializes in pressuring targets and chasing them down. Biograft plays like a glass cannon, dealing high damage while sporting the lowest health in the roster.
Biograft is a robot made to kill, and as such it is devoid of any notable personality. Most of its dialogue and exchanges with other Phighters consist in it either speaking its orders out loud, stating its own existence or criticizing their combat methods. Despite this, Biograft is shown to express curiosity, a sense of self and even worry in some interactions, showing that it is not devoid of any emotion whatsoever.

Katana is a tanky melee Phighter that can frontline with his high health pool and damage, but suffers at range with poor mobility and only a single ranged attack.
He can be viewed as a dutiful and relatively stoic. Under neutral affiliation, he lets his choice of actions be driven by the desire to pure an unknown corruption. He finds anyone associated with that evil as a danger worth killing.

Ban Hammer is a melee Phighter, a slow but powerful bruiser with great burst mobility and unique abilities that allow him to dip in and out of the fray as he so pleases.
Ban Hammer is, overall, a cocky and self-assured Phighter who will not hesitate to overstate his abilities and put others down. Despite being incredibly powerful, he willingly blindfolds himself to create a challenge when participating in Phights. He holds his momma in high regard and constantly aims to impress her with his performance. He is dedicated to enacting justice on criminals as he sees fit and considers himself a 'raging tyrant' as the warden of Banland.
He can be rather emotionally inept, as he is keen to insult other Phighters about anything from their height to their lack of horns. Other Phighters tend to respond to his insults with exasperation and annoyance, which he is seemingly oblivious to. He isn't one to accept defeat easily and makes excuses for his various failings and setbacks at all opportunities. All in all, he is an arrogant and proud individual who thinks highly of himself with little room for error.

Rocket is a ranged Phighter that uses his abilities to apply consistent area of effect damage against groups of players.
Rocket is described to be "clingy, hyperactive, bit of a hardhead". He's very excitable and hyper, however he's also a little clumsy. He enjoys blowing things up.

Slingshot is a ranged Phighter who specializes in high mobility and ranged damage. Slingshot has an arsenal of mobility incorporated in his abilities, enabling him to quickly traverse the map and reposition quickly.
Slingshot comes off as energetic. Gung-ho on being speedy and zipping around opponents in Phights. He's friendly to his close friends and even does playful jabs with them. He has an air of responsibility from him, stemming from his ownership of a cafe and also the living situation with Vine Staff and Shuriken. He's also passionate about footwear especially ones that enable his movements.

Hyperlaser is a ranged Phighter that specializes in dealing high burst damage at long ranges and supporting his team with his utility.
On the surface, Hyperlaser presents himself with a stern, no-nonsense disposition. Some of his interactions with other Phighters consist of him scolding or questioning them for playful and careless behaviour on the battlefield, with the intention of getting them to focus on the task at hand. When read closer, however, it becomes apparent that he doesn't do it out of annoyance, but rather from concern that his fellow Phighters will be lost in a similar manner to the people from his past. He has PTSD and experiences hypervigilance.
When not focused on the battles before him, Hyperlaser becomes rather curious about other people; much of his dialogue is him asking other Phighters about themselves, usually in regards to their weapons and skills. He shows a greater amount of concern for Katana than anyone else, and tries to coax him into slowing down and talking about his problems.
Despite wanting to leave Blackrock in the long run, he still takes his work with them seriously. He does not feel guilt about the deaths he has caused working for Blackrock.

Shuriken is a ranged Phighter that specializes in pressuring the enemy and picking off targets.
Self-preclaimed as a master, Shuriken sports a very self-confident energy that can be seen as boastful or egotistical. He thinks his skills will manage to earn him some fame. On the contrary his popularity is not all that recongizable beyond his relationships. He is competitive but also sports genuine interest in things he is already familiar with. And he may not be the brightest as stated by his sister, Vine Staff.

Scythe is a ranged Phighter who plays more so as a hybrid between melee and ranged combat, using Switcheroo to alternate between her Scythe and Rifle forms as needed.
She can be described as confident and playful. Often resorting to teasing and taking the strong tensions light-heartedly. This can be seen when in minor conflict with either Ban Hammer or Katana. However, she does get serious and delivers her grievences and threats to those who endanger or insult those she's interested in.
While she tries to, she lacks a full silver tongue and fails to be entirely persuasive. Anyone who might have the potential or interest in joining her affiliation she acts buddy-buddy or chummy with. Donning a very friendly demeanor that is somewhat intimidating.
When she is feeling calm or melancholy, she represents it with respectful silence when in Katana's presence.

Boombox is a support Phighter.
Boombox is a chill phighter, who has a little care for Phights; like when he mentions 'No time for coffee!' when in The Iron Cafe. Boombox seems to both like being a party animal while also taking some time to relax. Boombox enjoys to make friends, and enjoys being with others than being by himself, he is very positive towards his friends, however he can end up trying a little too hard to make friends; as seen with his interactions with Biograft, Banhammer, Medkit and Hyperlaser on certain occasions, hinting he can be seen as annoying. It is difficult to make him angry. Boombox is interested in other phighters’ music tastes, usually asking all them about it, and despite Subspace's taste being 'The screams of my victims!!'; Boombox is still interested by it nonetheless, however gets bad vibes from them for it.

Subspace is a support Phighter that specializes in area denial by applying vulnerability and poison and allowing him to set up traps with his Tripmine.
Subspace is very sadistic and maniacal. He is loud and obnoxious, especially towards Medkit, leading many of the Phighters to be apprehensive with him. He constantly taunts his enemies in Phights. His dialogue in-game is always characterised as ending with a pair combination of exclamation marks or question marks following his tone of voice. However, he is seen with dialogue ending in periods in media outside of the game. He is only sycophantic if it absolves him of fault such as him towards Ban Hammer to get on his good side but is failing at doing so.

Vine Staff is a healing support Phighter that specializes in giving regeneration to her allies.
Vine Staff is a Phighter who is concerned with the safety of others. She makes sure that the people around her are cautious of the potential danger they may pose to themself and others. Creating plans in how to go about a fight is something that she prefers to do, and something she establishes with every Phighter. When there is no plan, she is worried. Despite her kind nature, she doesn't shy away from jesting at other Phighters, being especially sarcastic with her brother, Shuriken.

Coil is a support Phighter who excels as a brawler and is best played up close and personal. He boasts a large variety of moves, excellent mobility, and flexibility to adapt into any situation he throws himself into.
