Persona Q2 Fandub (Episode 1) COMPLETE!

Project Overview

Hello everyone! Welcome to the first casting call listing for Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth fan dub! Many on CCC have attempted a Persona Q2 fandub and I'm here to throw my hat into the ring! This fandub will be cutting out all gameplay and leaving just dialogue. To keep the scope of the project realistic to start, I will only be casting for the Phantom Thieves and eventually the Cinema extras. If we come to finish the first dungeon, then I will be hosting a CCC for the cast of Persona 4, then Persona 3 and so forth! Long term I would love to also upload individual videos for the ticket side quests! As of right now I am currently casting the supporting and minor roles coming up in Episode 2. Episode 1 will be releasing on the 25th to celebrate the 25th anniversary!


Requirements:
-Must be 13+
-Must have decent mic quality (No static or background noise)
-Must have a discord and must put it in the description of your audition.

  • Episode 2! New Roles! And More!

    Hey guys! I just wanted to update everyone that the first episode is almost finished and will be uploaded on the 25th of October to celebrate the 25th anniversary!   • First wave of casting!

Haru Okumura is a soft spoken kind Third year at Shujin Academy. She is the only daughter of the Okumura Foods corporation president. While being very polite and timid at times, Haru has a playfully sadistic side that comes out occasionally when fighting shadows.

Futaba Sakura is a first year student to be at Shujin Academy. She is the foster daughter of the protagonists caretaker. Hacker extraordinaire and former shut in, Futaba can tend to be shy and awkward around strangers but can be quite outspoken and snarky with those she is close to.

Hikari is a young woman that, at the start of the game suffers from extreme depression and self-esteem issues due to her bad past, where she would often be a target of emotional abuse or manipulation due to not thinking or acting in the same way as others around her, complete with a lack of social skills that prevent her from getting her message clear. 

Voice Reference: There is no official english voice for Hikari, so just go for a timid young sounding voice!

At first glance, Nagi appears as kind and caring, especially towards Hikari. Hikari views her as a comforting figure and the only person that she could vent her hardships to, and thus always stands by her. She seems to be able to sympathize with Hikari's hardships and appears to be saddened when she hears of her desires to discard her self.

Voice Reference: There is no english VA for Nagi, so it's up to your interpretation. I imagine a someone deeper tone, but I could be impressed!

Kamoshida is the first major antagonist of Persona 5. In that game he is the protagonists Gym teacher who has secretly been abusing his students and harassing Ann Takamaki. In Persona Q2 his likeness manifests in the movie "Kamoshidaman" where he is a satire of the super hero movie genre. This is the narrator for the Super Hero Movie cutscene. There is no real character description here other then a movie announcer voice! I'll put some reference idea's below but honestly, this one feel free to take creative liberties.

Suggestion 1: https://youtu.be/ko5SB7BFNMs?t=86 I think it could be fun to have a very deep and energetic voice like All Might's ! This might be conflicting based on the line direction I gave for Kamoshida man, but still would be nice to hear someone give it a shot.

Suggestion 3: I actually am very interested to hear an energetic female voice for the trailer as well!
