Persephone Niflemb - VA for a Dark Fantasy Character
Project Overview
We are seeking a talented voice actor to bring life to Persephone Niflemb, a complex anti-heroine in a dark fantasy setting. Persephone is a woman haunted by a tragic past, filled with raw, visceral emotion. Her voice reflects bitterness, sarcasm, and a deep-seated rage masked by cold detachment. The ideal candidate will have a strong, dynamic range capable of conveying her internal struggle, transitioning from cold, calculating sarcasm to intense emotional outbursts.
Requirements:
Female voice, mature tone
Ability to convey intense, emotional, and dark themes
Comfortable with expressing anger, sarcasm, and vulnerability
Experience with dramatic readings or monologues is a plus

Persephone Niflemb is a woman struck by fate, and given a unfair hand in life. Once a royal when she was young, enslaved by Raiders that destroyed her Kingdom, to falling in love with the Raider leader's son, Morgan, to eventually losing everyone. She's on a torn warpath, with a voice in her head begging her to keep control, and dominate it all, all the while she questions if it's worth it to even keep going.
She's a DND character that I feel could have much more impact or anything like that. This would be a lead role. Persephone Niflemb has a tendency to emphasize a lot of her words, and especially uses a bit of sarcasm. When noted in the custom Audition lines, it may be good to get into your feelings a bit. A good alternative to look for is Jason Todd from Batman: Arkham Knight. His voice lines have a lot of what I'm expecting.

Voice: Low, controlled, hint of bitterness, holding back almost all of her emotions, as if their about to burst. “People like you say revenge is hollow. That it’ll eat me from the inside out. Well, you’ve clearly never watched your family slaughtered like animals, or lived in chains beneath the boots of their killers. No, revenge isn’t hollow. It’s fuel. A purpose. The only thing that’s kept me going this long.”
Voice: Sharp, cold, with a hint of taunting mockery, as if interrogating someone. “You think you know pain? The kind that keeps you awake every night, grinding your bones into dust just to numb it? No. You’re just another pawn, drunk on power you can’t control. But don’t worry, I’ll show you what real suffering is. Consider it… a gift.”
Voice: Softened, laced with regret and longing, wishing for those old days to come back. “Morgan… maybe in another life, things could have been different. But I don’t get ‘maybes’ or second chances, not in this hell. All I get is the memory of what could’ve been… and the ashes of what’s left.”
