[PAID] Parable Academy - A Fighting Game
Project Overview
Hello everyone! I'm snuffysam, creator of Parable Academy, a team fighting game starring famous fictional characters from throughout history. This casting call is for the first Early Access version of the game.
A Fabled curse has swept the world... ordinary teens have begun transforming into characters from their favorite stories. In order to keep these young people safe from their own curses, a university was set up - Parable Academy for Fabled Youths! Can these students survive the constant attacks from literature's greatest villains?
Since this is a fighting game, there's not much in the way of dialogue - just some voice lines for when you win matches, sound bites for certain special moves, quotes for when characters team up with each other, and a paragraph or two for each character to introduce themselves in arcade mode.
8 total playable characters
200-350 words per role
15-20 nonverbal grunts per role
Each role is a $50 flat rate, since they're all roughly the same number of lines/nonverbal grunts as each other
PG-13 dialogue (mild swears, crude humor)
Auditions will close February 27th.
The game's production is pretty far along - ideally, in order for the game's trailers to be produced, your voice lines will all be recorded by March 13th (this is a soft deadline).
Improv is allowed, though some lines will need to be exact, to match up with gameplay (this will be clarified per role when I send the full script).
Upon sending the full script, I'll also send my own recordings of the lines to help with intonation and reduce the need for re-records.
The game's price point is not set in stone yet, but the plan currently is to have a free version that just has access to online mode & training mode, and a $20 version where players can access the full game & all future updates.
If you wish to audition for multiple roles, it is encouraged to do so - you'll be paid accordingly if you are cast for multiple roles. Additionally, for future versions of the game, you may be asked to return to record more voice lines for different character interactions, and you'll be paid again.

Goodness! Staying up late? Drinking alcohol?! That's not healthy for burgeoning young adults like us!
Hmph! One girl is more use than twenty boys!
I'll be happy at home, where I never have to share the air with drudges like you!
A fun-loving boy who got turned into a mouse. His voice should sound gruff, like a carnival barker selling hot dogs. A similar voice would be Oolong from the English Dragon Ball dub (but feel free to put your own spin on the concept!)

Drink with me, old sport!
Female adult voice. In the story she moved to England at a young age, so British or Arabic works. The beleaguered yet determined headmistress of Parable Academy. She's probably the only one at the school taking things seriously.

Return to your chains, vile monster! This school shall never be under your evil influence!
And now, students, we see the benefits of teamwork.
...But we'll finish that story tomorrow.
Adult male. He is Dracula, and his voice should be Dracula. It should be somewhat of a serious take on the role. He is focused on dominance and control.
