Project Overview

Hey! My name's Leo, and I'm a voice actor and fangan enthusiast with an intense love of the Paper Mario series. Combine all of these interests together, and you get what may be one of my favorite instaronpas to date- Paperronpa: Cutout Chaos, by Madalynn, aka Slimypennies.

I love this series so much, in fact, that I want to eventually create a full dub of it! But so far, I'm sticking with a bite I can actually chew- one of the most iconic scenes from the first chapter, and coincidentally one of the scenes with the most syncable material for dubbing! I won't spoil the actual scene contents for anyone who's interested in the story but not in auditioning, but I'll have it linked at the end of this description.

If this project does well, I'll entertain the idea of creating a full dub, and updating it as the series progresses.

Kooper is a young Koopa man, an archaeologist forced into the killing game by Sinistar. He's currently trying to defuse a conflict between Bombette and Sinistar, the latter of whom has marked the former for death after she attacked him.


His voice should remain stoic and firm, with a hint of desperation underneath, especially while he and Kersti are jabbing at Bombette and trying to convince Sinistar through lightening its mood.

  • (Resolved, angry) FIne! Then, if you won't listen to reason... just kill me instead! If I have to die for her, I fucking will!

Bombette is a young, agender Bob-omb woman, forced into the Cutout Chaos killing game by Sinistar. In this scene, she is ramping herself up with rage after watching one of her close friends be killed by the game's course, and eventually attacks the host of the game, directing its ire onto her, then backpedals when it marks her for death because of it.


Her voice should always have a hint of a desobered uneasiness to it. In this scene, she shifts from broken dejection, to a fit of absolute anger, then is tamped down into subservient fear once she realizes she's now Sinistar's target.

  • (Fed up, about to get physical) God, shut the fuck UP, Kooper! I'm... I'm so sick of just standing around while everybody fucking DIES! I'm... I'm just... ARRRGHHH! I'M FUCKING ENDING THIS, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!

  • (Horrified, realizes that she fucked up) What the fuck. What the FUCK?! I didn't even... I did all that, and I didn't even leave a scratch?!

Kersti is the keeper of the Royal Stickers; she's an ancient (but youthful) sticker goddess forced into the Cutout Chaos killing game by Sinistar. She only has one line in this scene, but she's a bitter, sarcastic loner who, despite caring for people deep down, won't hesitate to rip into anything about anyone if it means they won't get attached to her.


Her voice should be high-class, aristocratic and snooty, but in this scene she is showing a bit of genuine care toward Bombette by backing up Kooper.
