The denizens of the Whispering Woods. They comment on what Mario is doing, and they whisper. Hence the name. So their lines should be whispered.
Someone’s here…
Just whacking things, huh? Not very green of him…
These whispers are probably creepy!
An old curmudgeonly tree in the Whispering Woods. He was cut down so only his stump remains, and he doesn’t let anyone pass through his woods. Note: This part requires a bit of singing.
You, young man! Go back and tell your flat paper friends what a state I’m in. I’ve hardly the hardwoods to speak, let alone learn you some manners…*hack*
(Singing) Feelin’ kinda sappy now…It’s like I’m super happy now…I’m fellin’ big and burly and it musta surely been you…
(Reenergized) That little seed was all it took. Tightened up my timbers and put the funk back in my trunk. I’m young again!
A trio of trees who watch over Ol’ Grandsappy. They also provide backup during his musical number, so singing is required.
That’s why he’s mad at y’all. Flat paper folks cuttin’ down good trees in their prime…Shame on you!
Poor thing. He’s a shell of himself. Hollowed out like some wood shop project gone wrong…
(Singing) Oh, Sappy keep on singin’ like the good old days, oh yeah…
The citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. They keep getting in trouble, so Mario has to keep saving them. The Folded Soldiers seem to have it out for them…
Please note: You can try to do a Toad impression, but it’s not required. Any kind of voice will do since there are a lot of different Toads.
Oh, it’s bad! Real bad! These horrible folded guys showed up and started folding Toads left and right. Most of us got folded before we could even ask what was going on.
Thanks, Mario! I’d been in there for a long time. And you know what tents don’t have, right? Bathrooms.
What a beautiful day. I feel like nothing bad could happen here. Unrelated, I have amnesia.
