This is Doug. He is a young man who lives in a cabin out in the woods with his younger twin brother, James, and his boyfriend, Axel. He is a very laid back, yet protective person who isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
(Honestly, I have no set voice for most of these characters, but imagine a surfer dude from the 70's but with a less grating voice.)
Ginger tea, my least favorite, but good for a sore throat regardless.
When all of this is over, let's try making maple syrup like mom used to, the three of us together.
Was that Latin? Aw, you only speak in Latin when you're mad at me...

Now, even though James is the younger twin, he is the more mature one. He always looks out for his brother, Doug and almost always has his nose in a book. James loves studying foreign languages and technology. However, he lacks the capability to love, as when he was younger, a demon witch stole his soul, which, in turn caused him to lose his empathy and ability to love.
This role will require you to be able to pronounce some foreign words like Latin.
Whatever you make of him will be his voice!

Axel is the boyfriend of Doug, and can speak air draconic, which will be explained once you get the role. (It sounds like German.)
Before meeting Doug and James when they were around 10 years old, he lived alone in a muddy hut near a river in the woods. Axel's past is riddled with holes, as he cannot recall what his childhood was like before meeting the twins.
When the three first met, Axel did not know how to speak english, making the twins teach them. He still reverts back to air draconic every once in a while to feel more comfortable. (Don't worry if you think the bilingual part will be hard, it flows quite naturally. I live with a bilingual parent.)
Since he was turned into a dragon and back, he has since gained wings and horns.
What is this? Where am I?
She spoke water draconic, a tongue that wasn't familiar to me.
I was confused."Brother?" I said, asking the figure that towered over me.

Karrin is a water dragon who abducts Axel and frequently gives the twins obstacles to overcome, just for her amusement.
She is the sky castle's resident witch, casting enchantments and helping the king understand more languages.
Her voice should be a smooth French accent.
You also have to say a few lines in a smoother language known as water draconic.
Oh come now your highness. Your brother could be key in figuring out how he can transform so easily!
Hmm, I think putting you under a cryogenic spell for the next 200 hundred years could help me understand mortality better~

Now, this is Talin, Axel's older brother and ruler of the sky castle. Axel has not known Talin for long, but Talin is convinced that Axel is his twin brother. He does not understand humans or how they function despite secretly, (and unknowingly,) being one himself. Him and his subjects believe he is a true Tulipa dragon, but in reality, he is a human turned into one, much like Axel. His back story will be revealed in the story.
His voice should be loud and booming!

Serena is a young girl who happened upon the Sky Castle one day.
She was kept there as a servant, and upon the twins' arrival to the castle, she tried to break James out, only to be caught.
Her punishment was having a gaping hole cut in her throat, and her voice, brought back by magic, dropped to a whisper.
She can never speak normally, for it is pure torture for her.
Aye, and you ought to use your voice while you can.
I tried breaking your brother out, I did, but they caught me.
Go! Hurry, don't worry about me!
