Pandora’s Parcel
Project Overview
Pandora’s Parcel is an animated student film following Pandora, a young postal worker who hates her job, and a mysterious package that whisks her away on a magical journey. This film is all about accepting where you are in life and finding the joy in it as you work towards something new.
Pandora’s Parcel is 1 minute and 30 seconds, and is packed full of mail, aliens, and magical girl charm. I’m looking for two voice actors to voice the titular character Pandora, and her annoying sidekick Mailien, the cutesy corporate mascot of the company she works for.
This project is a student film, and because of that it is unpaid. The deadline for the completed film is also pretty strict. But, if these characters and this story seem exciting to you, then I would really appreciate your audition. Please, help me bring this story to life, and make it the best it can be!!

Pandora is a young woman who has big dreams of visiting outer space, but ironically is trapped in a monotonous job as a postal worker for a space themed mail company. She’s utterly bored of her job, and hates the company mascot even more.
She has a youthful voice thats covered by a thick layer of boredom and apathy.

Pandora is a Black Woman, and it’s very important to me that shes played by a person of color. This a role made for a Black voice actor.

Mailien is the adorable corporate mascot of the Cosmic Carrier Delivery Service. It’s his job to check in with the many employees of the company and make sure they‘re all conforming to the strict standards expected of them.
Mailien always has an aggressively positive attitude, and never stops smiling, no matter what he might be feeling. He’s always peppy, and always deeply annoying to any employee he happens to check up on. When people are slacking off, he’s always ready to threaten them with a smile in the name of the company.
Think a mixture of Monokuma from Danganronpa and Morgana from Persona 5

”CCDS is the fastest delivery service in the galaxy! You wouldn’t let you buddy Mailien down, right?” (Excited and positive with a threatening undertone)
”Hey hey hey, Your allotted 1.2 minutes for package pickup have expired!” (Peppy, and intentionally trying to be annoying)
