Hello friends! Welcome to a casting call for a mini project I've wanted to get out of my head for the longest time! Around 10 years ago I created my first Sims 2 VO series. I never got to finish it for many reasons and, while I have rewritten the story in its entirety, I'm not sure if I'll ever find the time to make it a whole production. Being an adult sucks! So, as a little tribute to what got me started in this community, I wanted to produce two scenes from the story that are near and dear to me.

Rules:
Basic summary:
The story revolves around Beverly. A woman who's on a hunt to rediscover the past she lost after being turned into a nightstalker (this story's version of vampires). Things turn complicated when she's suddenly being hunted down by an paranormal organization and it doesn't get any easier when she finds herself torn between her newly discovered childhood friend and then man who saved her life.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to audition for my little passion project. <3 I have a lot of voices to properly go through so I will be taking this week to do just that. I am hoping to have everyone casted no later than September 11th but, if anything changes, I'll be sure to post another update here. Thank you again!

- She has no memories of her human life before.
[Light exhaustion in her tone] That’s quite the loaded question…
[Getting frustrated.] You shouldn’t say that. The girl you knew then isn’t the woman sitting across from you now.
[Soft/Slightly tearful.] What I do know is you... and, while I'm scared that I may lose that, I can't force you to stay. You're free now.
Tone: Medium range. Thirty. Kind/Inviting/Soft-spoken.
Keynotes:
- Is Beverly's best friend from childhood onward.
- Has always harboured feelings for her but never had the chance to express them.
[Slightly frustrated.] You’re free to do whatever you want now. Why not seize that opportunity?
[Soft/Forlorn] I thought I had moved on. Five years should have been plenty of time but, seeing you now…
[With a hint of humor that tries to mask sadness.] That’s a really long winded way of saying “It’s not you, it’s me”.
Tone: Between low and medium pitch. Late twenties. Authoritative/Stoic/Cold. ** Ryan is not a loud or sinister character. Key notes:
- He turned Beverly into a nightstalker as she was bleeding out from a bullet wound.
-He harbours massive guilt for his actions and has tried to keep her at a distance. Keyword: Tried.
[Quiet with a hint of taunt.] And so, the frightful lark returns to her nest.
[Soft/Frustrated.] I've had enough of this back and forth. If you want to make me a slave to my impulses then you'll also have to deal with the consequences that come with it.
[Teasing.] I tried falling out of line and all that got me was an insufferable brat who can't keep her mouth shut.
