OUTSIDERS. [ Sims 4 VO Auditions open 2018/2019]
Project Overview
Inspired by the hit UK series : Skins, Outsiders is about a group of friends and their struggles within the society we live in today. Love, hate, abuse, addiction, mental illness, dysfunctional families, and death are just some of the themes within this series. The objective of this series is to be different. Not many depict the struggle of everyday life of teens this day in age and I want to try my best to represent it this way.
Every two seasons will be a new "Generation", Skins style. New problems, New characters, New storylines will be available every two seasons which is why Outsider's is always looking for more voice actors!
This is a series who's main objective is planned, along with most of the script but will be up for auditions until the cast is perfected! Please, don't be afraid to audition, I'm sure there's a spot perfect for you!
RULES:
MUST BE COMITTED. This is a series ongoing for quite some time, I want my team to be as dedicated and invested in these characters as I am.
CLEAR MIC. It doesn't have to be perfect, but please try to have the audio as clean as possible!
EMOTION, I can't stress this enough! I want this series to have all kinds of genres: suspense, comedy, angst, romance, all that good stuff. I need people who are willing to REALLY sell it!
HAVE FUN! The most important rule of them all. I don't want any of the cast to feel as though this is homework, I want my cast to feel good and excited for the next script reading or recording!
FOR NOW, THIS IS NOT A PAID JOB. IF SOMEHOW, MAROONSIMS STARTS GAINING FROM THIS, PROFITS WILL BE DIVIDED EQUALLY AMONGST THE CAST.

Elias is more on the introverted side. That is, when he's not with his friends. He's very humble and willing to help anyone, no matter what - which gets him into numerous problems and histerical situations. He'd rather listen to other people's feelings than speak his own. He's been best friends with Ace since they were kids, even though they are complete opposites. He is calm and controlled - most of the time.
(Sigh) Ace, that's not a good thing.

Ace is the complete opposite from Elias. He's energetic, loud and reckless. Although he is labeled as brainless, he's actually much smarter than he lets on. He's honest, and a great confident. He gets in a lot of situations for his joking, playful and teasing personality but he doesn't let that get him down. He's the life of the party everywhere he goes and HATES it when people are either in a bad mood or there's tension in the air. It's like he can smell it. He has an addiction to drugs which he's constantly trying to get out of throughout the series.

Athena is a wild child. She doesn't give a single fuck about anything. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants, simply because she wants to. She's tough and smart mouthed and witty, basically one of the guys. She's blunt and loves crowded parties and drinking and smoking, she's basically your average rebel. Though, underneath all that wit and back talk, she's insecure and depressed. Her family isn't the most functional which is why she prefers to just never be home, this will be dug into further into the series.

Jonas is the quarterback of the football team. Pretty strange to see someone of his status hanging out with the rest of his friend group but hey, they've known each other since middle school and he's no hypocrite. Jonas sometimes lets the popularity get to his head and you could always count on his friend group to get him to stop running his mouth. He can be seen as arrogant, blunt, stubborn, and egoistic sometimes but majorly he's very open-minded, accepting and over-protective. He has an off & on relationship with Mabel since freshman year of High.
(Annoyed) I'm tired, is what I am!

Niko is the hardest shell to crack. He's quiet, doesn't like attention, can't stand when people observe him as if he was an animal at the zoo. He's painfully honest and doesn't really care if he hurts your feelings because he knows you'll just come crawling right back to him. He likes having his own bubble and keeping his things private. You'll rarely see much emotion from him unless it's bored, unamused, angry or mocking. His parents abandoned him after years of marriage dysfunction which left him living in someone's basement, still coping and trying to get by on his own.
(bored) You're boring me... Go away now.
(Upset) I didn't ask you to know me! I don't want you to know me!

Mabel is Kai's twin sister but doesn't mention it much for her own reasons. She cares too much about what people say about her and her reputation. She's a cheerleader and let's it get to her head often. She usually butts heads with Athena and Niko as they're so different but doesn't let it get in the way of their friendships, she always has their backs no matter what. Mabel is your average goody two shoes who doesn't let anything influence her (most of the time). She suffers from an eating disorder caused by her want and need of social acceptance.
(Frustrated) I'd rather swallow rocks than be seen with you!

Kai is Mabel's twin brother, shunned by her for his sexuality. He identifies as bi curious yet knows it's not the truth - as he'd much rather be with a male over anything else. He's sweet and very energetic, part of the "dumb trio" along with Elias and Ace. He's very open minded and hates to judge people, and gets upset when people judge him over who he chooses to love. Yet he knows, his friends wouldn't ever judge him. He constantly tries to get Mabel's attention and is shut down each time, soon growing tired of it and deciding it's better off this way.

Victoria is what you'd call the mother of the friend group. She's very responsible and mature and is who everyone goes to when they need help or advice or simply a shoulder to cry on. She's had to grow up earlier than she needed to now that her mother is an alcoholic, her dad dead from an overdose and her younger sister, Emma, basically in her care. She doesn't let her family troubles get in the way of her daily life, usually, and she's seen to be happy, or so that's what everybody thinks.

She's power hungry and soon develops a crush on Nikolai - possibly the worst decision she could've made.

Mabel is kind of afraid of her, but won't let her or anyone see it.

Grace is as quiet as a mouse. She's very shy and holds many insecurities, which makes it easy for her to be manipulated. Dinah takes the cake for that simply because it's hard for Grace to say no to anything. She never wants to come off as rude or offending, so she prefers to keep her mouth shut. She's very soft spoken and tends to avoid eye contact. She is influenced into a relationship with Kai which, for obvious reasons doesn't end well.

She ends up having a thing with Elias which is basically a rollercoaster.

He's close with Niko, as they were once friends, yet resents the fact that he was replaced by his new group of friends.
