Project Overview
Hey Hey! An amazing group of wonderful people and I have been working together to put on a second season for the popular anime, Ouran High School Host Club! We're a volunteer-based non-paid passion project hoping to launch with our pilot episode and subsequently, going on to animate the manga with the help of some talented and creative individuals! We're currently looking for Voice Actors to bring some of the series' most iconic characters to life

Descriptions of Characters / What we are looking for in our VA's: When he’s not thinking of ways to make Tamaki’s life a living hell, Hikaru’s internally dying over his own internal dialogue as to why the heck he does not understand what’s going on. The boy is in love and acts like he’s slowly dying. Might be the one controlling that dreaded banana peel, no one actually knows. He’s just there to stir the pot and hope someone falls for his pranks.
Can you? You can’t even buy your own uniform. What’s with that lame clothing you’re wearing?

Descriptions of Characters / What we are looking for in our VA's: Kaoru got the braincell. He’s the butler that has to see the superhero screw up their entire life and somehow remotely either try to fix it or go along with it. You know that look when you give your siblings because they’re oblivious as heck? Yeah that’s him pretty much half the time. He is the captain of the HikaruxHaruhi ship. Unfortunately, he’s proven twin telepathy doesn’t exist.

Description of Character / What we are looking for in VA's : Our ideal Honey is the embodiment of Peter Pan, He never grew up. He’s like the whiny nephew that is always there as part of the action. But don’t anger him though. He will and he can hurt you. The kid is yeetable, but do not yeet him. You will be killed swiftly. He might also be the CEO of the Mori fan club, no one actually knows for sure. It’s basically Koala meets Tree. ALSO HE IS A TEEN HE JUST HAS THE VOICE OF A CHILD

Descriptions of Character / What we are looking for in our VA's: Mori does not just simply speak. He observes, supports, judges, and grunts. He’s lucky if the man can open his mouth and actually say something before people assume the world is ending. Biggest stan of “Actions speak louder than words.” He cares, we promise. He’s just got subtle hints of chronic RBF without the B. You know that tiktok, “I look intimidating until I smile”? That.
“If you want his heart, shouldn’t you do something else?”
“Being cursed by someone who doesn’t consider other people’s feelings will have no effect on me at all.”

Descriptions of Character / What we are looking for in our VA's:
We’re looking for a bumbling oaf of an idiot. Seriously. He’s so intrigued by commoner life, as if he’s watching them in some rendition of the Truman Show. A complete narcissist, who clearly can not take a hint when he is overstepping his boundaries. The man calls everyone his family...or the supporting cast. Take your pick.
He’s loud, boisterous, oblivious, and the average shoujo schmuck. Prince Charming gone wrong.
Welcome to the Ouran Host Club, rare scholarship student, Haruhi Fujioka-kun!
Welcome to the luxuriant world, oh poorest person. Even if you are the top student, you are also the poorest student of the school. People will call you a weed and you will be despised as a lower person!! Yes you probably will be!!
*blabs* Why is there art in a museum? Yes…to show off beautiful things is the duty of those who were born beautiful…Therefore, I’m beautiful and found this club with those hungers, and I don’t skimp in my efforts to pursue that beauty…
The girl became ‘manager’ by self-appointment, but nobody can get rid of her. She’s annoying and thinks that she is the best and that she can never be wrong. Whatever she perceives automatically becomes the truth and reality. She struggles to see things from another person’s point of view. However, if you’re kind to her, you will become her friend. You have no choice when it comes to Renge; only Renge has the brain-capacity to choose things that suit her fancy.
“Haruhi you’re as ‘Cutie Cool’ as ever!! (What does that mean?) it’s your charm, haruhi! You’re a cross between cute and cool, it’s the latest catch phrase now!!”
*Renge's Laugh* (Please don't do it right next to the mic)
“(to Haruhi Fujioka) I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner. It was so chivalrous of you to risk your life to protect me. I could feel the love when you lectured me in judging people.”
Gruff, tough, and everything that screams your stereotypical misunderstood tough guy. In truth, he struggles with the concept of expressing his emotions in a way that will get those around him to like him. At first glance, his crude exterior will scare many away- but it’s just what he’s known as his norm. In reality, he’s easily flustered, stumbles over his words, a bit of a mess.
(Hands Haruhi a cherry tomato plant) “Y-you asked me to grow an edible plant for you, right…? “S-so as a tribute to our friendship, I…”
(Internal dialogue) “Okay….did not think that one through...I guess if she has to live her life as a guy, dating a guy would probably raise some suspicions”
(Strained, post-rejection/friendzone) “Of course the two of us are going to be friends. The best of friends. Forever!”

Those chosen as an extra will be placed into a consideration pool known as our archive. In the event we need an extra for any upcoming scenes, we will pick from our pool of auditions and contact the necessary people to attempt specific lines relevant to the role(s).

We are looking for a committed composer who is familiar with building scores, specifically for classical music. Please do be aware that this is a long term project and you will be working with other composers!

As an Animator of this project you will be helping our team animate the Season two of this show! We take any animators but please let us know what you animate on and what program you use. Please link an animation portfolio with a minimum of two pieces in the portfolio. You will be expected to meet deadlines and be able to check in with us regularly via DM. We are more than happy to write letters of recommendation if you see through with this project!
