Project Overview
We've looking for a few voice actors of any range and gender to voice characters in our original short comic.
Each character has very few lines, with their lines in the comic featured below each role.

Further details and more precise direction will be provided once talent is selected.
AUDITION GUIDELINES:Good mics highly preferred but NOT necessary!
Any accent is fine for each character unless one is specified.
Note: This project may become long term (far) into the future and additional lines may be needed. For now, we are just looking for a few lines, though.

Rave is a soft-spoken, dark fortune teller. She's a reserved, brooding type of character who speaks with a somewhat "fancy" vocabulary.
In the comic, she is eerily reading the fortune of a group of people.
VOICE DIRECTION:
- Rave would speak rather quietly and monotonous. Her voice would also be fairly articulate, with each word enunciated properly. Some vocal fry or raspiness may even be present in her voice, up to you!
- Any range of voice would fit her fine as long as she speaks in a dark, monotonous tone.
- Note: Rave would not sound monotonous with a rude, disinterested tone. Instead, she would just be soft-spoken and devoid of emotion.

If only I could tell them what's to unfold... (In this scene, Rave cannot share the true dark fortune with the group. Instead, she lies and feels upset over it. She wants to be honest with them).
(Sigh) Your lucky colour today is red... (Slight pause) Oh, and make sure to ride the cyclone.. I guess. (In this scene, Rave unwillingly tells the group a boring, faux fortune. She also begrudgingly reminds them to ride one of the carnival's roller coaster).
Eight is an uptight, hot headed mechanic. He hates having fun and prefers to spend his time being productive instead. Although he normally keeps to himself, he can sometimes be quite rude in a passive-aggressive way. Eight is often stoic and tries not to show his anger outwardly.
In the comic, he reluctantly boards the roller coaster despite having a bad feeling about it. He later ends up in purgatory after the roller coaster crashes.
VOICE DIRECTION:
- Eight has a nerdy/nasally tone in his voice. He may also experience voice cracks when yelling.
- Any range of voice is fine and his tone is normally disinterested due to his stoic nature. In the comic, however, he is put into a particularly stressful situation and yells.

YOU CAN'T FORCE ME! (In this scene, Eight is desperately trying to get off of the roller coaster as it's about to start. His friend, Garlic, is dragging him back on. His voice may crack when yelling).
(Any one sound of confusion: Hm, Huh, What? Either of these are fine.) (In this scene, Eight is waking up in purgatory, confused).
NOTE: One of her lines contains profanity.
Garlic is a brash, rude, and arrogant jester. She is hardcore and defiant, preferring to live by her own rules. She is no stranger to peer pressuring others or just being downright rude to them.
In the comic, she peer pressures Eight into riding the roller coaster with her.
VOICE DESCRIPTION:
- Lacking any manners, Garlic does not speak properly and yells when she speaks. She is also prone to using profanity.
- She would have a raspy, scratchy, and crudely energetic type of voice. Her accent must be noticeably Australian.
- Any range of voice fits her.

Oi, don't be a pussy! (In this scene, Garlic is peer pressuring Eight into riding the rollercoaster in a harsh way).
WOOOOHOOoOoooo! (In this scene, Garlic is riding the roller coaster and happily yelling as if she's having the time of her life).
Huh?! (In this scene, Garlic has woken up in purgatory. She is extremely confused).
Any kind of voice fits well for this role. The narrator will simply say the non-dialogue parts of the comic.
We’re open to any kind of delivery for the following lines as well.
