Hello! My name is CozyCaramel, and thank you for taking the time to check out my project!
I'm currently looking to explore different voice interpretations for one of the main characters from my original story, Emily Vermillion.
This isn't a full animation or commercial production. My goal is simply to hear how different actors imagine this character and hopefully find a voice that feels like the one I've imagined over the years.

About Emily
Voice DirectionEmily Vermillion is a 16-year-old girl who approaches the world with practicality and common sense. While others are quick to rush into danger or make emotional decisions, she's usually the first to stop and ask, "Why?" She values reason over impulse, notices details others miss, and often grounds those around her with a, generally "calmer" perspective.
RecordingI'm looking for a natural teenage voice that feels calm, grounded, and believable. Emily isn't loud or overly expressive, and she rarely raises her voice unnecessarily.
I imagine her voice sitting slightly lower than what people might typically expect from a teenage girl—not masculine, but with a subtle tomboyish quality. She speaks confidently and directly rather than softly or timidly.
One small detail I've always imagined is that her voice isn't perfectly smooth. Every so often, a word might come out with a slight natural rasp or tiny vocal break. This isn't because she's nervous or emotional—it's simply part of how her voice sounds. Please don't force this if it doesn't happen naturally; I'm mentioning it only as a small characteristic I've always associated with Emily.
