This is a pilot episode for a series I’d like to make in the future, so if you audition for this please be open to voicing the character in future episodes if the pilot works out.
General Series Synopsis: The Planet of Promethea has been at peace for hundreds of years. So long that humankind has gotten complacent. However, that all changes when an ancient meteorite cluster appears in the night sky one night and delivers a new threat to the planet. It’s up to Kotagi, Jitachi and Raotsu to join the mecha pilot program at the elite military academy and help fend off the new threat.
The pilot episode is a standalone story starring the 3 main characters sometime in the middle of the series.
Episode Synopsis: Our 3 main characters Kotagi, Jitachi and Raotsu are in pursuit of a mech that was stolen from their academy. Disagreements break out causing it to escape so the 3 of them decide to split up to search for it.
Parts: 3 male, 1 female

-You can audition for as many characters as you want.
-Be a good sport. Even if you don’t get the part this time, it you are polite and professional, there’s always a chance I’ll ask you to fill a role later.
-1 chance per person
- Limit 3 takes per line
What we’re looking for: Great acting range, commitment to getting the performance right. Clear, quality mics with pop filters and good room acoustics (no echoes or background noise). Must keep up with deadlines and be willing to do extra lines or redos as the need arises.

Voice: American accent
Pitch: Medium-low
Acting Range: has to be able to be meek and quiet but quickly change to loud and panicked and to annoyed and exasperated
Description: Our main protagonist, Kotagi is a shy guy with pretty low self esteem. He has little confidence in his own abilities outside of playing games on his phone so he ends up reluctant to act. Thanks to his gaming skills, he has great talent when controlling his mech.
Guys, I really think we should have reported this, we’re not equipped to fight another mech like this!

Raotsu (R-OW-TSU) never tells us what he’s planning, you ever notice that?

Acting Range: Has to have a lot of enthusiasm and energy
Description: Jitachi is a typical Genki-Girl who has a passion for heroes. While most see the mechs as tools or machines, she sees them as superheroes and seems to be the only one who appreciates how cool they are. She’s (mostly) fearless and inspires others to take action. She’s a great shot with a rifle but not very confident in controlling mechs so she can be clumsy sometimes.
Real heroes don’t report things, Kotagi (Koh-Tah-Ghee) they act things… out, RIGHT?!

Acting Range: Mostly cold and grumpy with occasional bursts of outrage
Description: Raotsu is the foil to Kotagi. He’s very confident in his abilities and sees piloting a mech as more of a status symbol than a responsibility. He’s mortified to be in the same squad as the other 2 but is determined to prove he’s the best.
Though her speeches are lacking, Jitachi (jee-tah-chee) has a point, we have to do this ourselves.
Tell me, Kotagi (koh-tah-ghee), how is it that my brilliant plans never seem to win against your stupidity?
Man, this sucks, I could really go for some ice cream right now...

Voice: Prim and proper, smug any accent but English as a first language
Pitch: Medium/Low
Acting Range: He’s never panicky, always calm and indifferent.
Description: Percy is the AI program in Kotagi’s mech, he’s on Kotagi’s side but is often very sarcastic and snooty. He’s an old program that has been through a lot so he looks on the new pilot Kotagi but also looks out for him.
(sarcasm): Yeah, you do that. As this mech goes and destroys half the city. You get that top score… *sigh*
Hey, this might interest you, Kotagi (Koh-Tah-Gee), you know that mech we’ve been chasing? Well, I just finished running the data and it’s control signals are inconsistent with those of a pilot in the cockpit.
Quarantine of the rampant AI is complete and military retrieval units are on their way.
