One Piece Manga Fandub - Little Garden
Project Overview
Introduction
Welcome to my fandub for the One Piece Manga. This is our 3rd casting call for this series and this is for the Little Garden saga. We are currently working on our 11th volume of the series and would love for some more great VAs to join our growing cast of talented actors! We have multiple manga dubs going on at the moment but our One Piece one is definitely the largest. These dubs are for fun, but I am striving to create a good quality product for each one, to give the cast involved something to be proud as well as ourselves. We know it's not always easy getting experience, and I want these projects to be a high quality project for people of any experience level to either just have fun doing or so people wanting to get more experience and for everyone to have something they're proud of to share.
What I'm Looking For
Due to this and future projects like this being fandubs, unfortunately I am not able to offer monetary compensation due to copyright. Although it is unpaid though I would like to still have a level of professionalism and quality to the project. So I will be looking for people with:
- Because this is a very long series, please audition for the main cast or supporting characters that reoccur later on, only if you are willing to commit to a long term project. Other than the main crew the commitment isn't overly large for supporting characters but we would like to avoid having to change later on. If you aren't able to commit to long term though feel free to audition for minor roles or supporting roles that do not reappear later in the story, so we don't have to recast if you have to leave.
- Good quality microphone, preferably XLR but if you have a USB mic do not let that deter you from auditioning since it is the sound quality I'm looking for and that's still definitely achievable with some USB mics.
- 2-3 takes max per line
- Only basic post processing done to audio, as raw as possible.
- Little to no background noise, reverb or echo. Some we can definitely work with but if there is too much of any of these it greatly takes away from the quality of the audio and can be very jarring to listen to when mixed in with other audio.
- Discord is definitely preferred but not mandatory by any means but will make things much easier to work on the project as a whole.
- A good attitude! We have a great team building and we would like that to continue, which also makes things obviously much easier if you can get along well with me and the rest of the team!
Parts
There are quite a few roles in this casting that will be needed later on down the line or will be continuous roles so please take that into account when auditioning.

With the amount of work we are currently producing we are very open to having help with the editing. Because of the nature of the project, we aren't able to provide compensation for this role either unfortunately, but if you are interested in gaining more experience and credits to your name, or just love the content and would like to work on a project for fun, we would love to hear from you!
Our main editor for this project unfortunately had to step down due to not having any time, so we are in need for a lead editor to take over. The editing for the manga's is going to be fairly simple, just lots of transitions and words loading as speech is being overlaid. As well as inputting the audio tracks into the video as well obviously. Because this project is our biggest project and very action packed usually, we would love to have someone that's able to use different effects to bring the episodes to life.
Say something you think would fit
Robin becomes the next member of the Strawhats and therefore is a very important and major role. She is only in the Alabasta saga in parts but becomes a full crew member afterwards.
She is the calm, levelheaded brains of the crew and the oldest member. She is regularly reading a book and relaxing or off looking for ancient artifacts. She also tends to have a bit of a dark sense of humor that usually just terrifies everyone else.
Although Robin is generally quite reserved and calm, one of the most emotional scenes in the whole series still to this day is taken by her and the VA that voices Robin needs to be able to portray that emotion well, because that is a pivotal scene in the series, which is why it is the last 2 lines for the audition.

Crocodile is the first major villain in the Grand Line, and the first of the Warlords that Luffy encounters. He has the ability to turn to sand and is extremely cold and casual. He is attempting to overthrow the Kingdom of Alabasta and will do whatever he needs to to achieve his goal.
He has no sympathy for anyone that fails him and will casually throw away anyone's life at the drop of a dime.

Mr. 5 is one of the officers for Baroque Works and has the devil fruit which allows him to blow up any part of his body. He is extremely cool and relaxed overall and acts like he is the strongest in the room.

Miss Valentine is Mr. 5's partner and has a bit of an annoying attitude and laugh. She can make her weight change to any amount she wants. She gets very frustrated when people don't pay attention to her and gets very angry a few times because of it.

Dorry is one of 2 giants that have lived on the island for 100 years fighting. They don't even remember why they are fighting but they are extremely proud warriors and will continue to fight as long as they live. They have both formed a bond together over the years and have become good friends, although their pride as warriors still means they need to continue to fight.

Mr. 3 is the definitely of a slime. He believes he is above everyone else because of his intellect and that he can outsmart anyone. He has no problem using underhanded and devious means to achieve his goals, no matter how low.
He is in this saga throughout but does come back again later on down the road as well.

Miss Goldenweek is Mr. 3's partner and although she is very quiet and doesn't say much, she is very dangerous. She is very monotone whenever she talks and doesn't ever show really any emotion. Everything she says is very deadpan.
