INTRODUCTION
Hey, everyone! This is a casting call for Corrupted Films' upcoming short machinima project called One Lane Bridge. It is the second project that takes place in the Corrupted Deviation storyline of The Crafting Dead Universe, a shared universe made by Slightly Insulting. We want to ensure we maintain the same high quality from previous projects, and it starts with casting voice actors.
If you are curious to learn more about Corrupted Films' perspective of The Crafting Dead Universe, you can visit the Corrupted Films YouTube channel and scroll down to find 'The Crafting Dead Universe' playlist. One Lane Bridge will take place after Outset so, consequently, this does mean some lead and supporting roles have already been taken. If you are not cast for any of the roles, please do stick around as we got more exciting projects coming up in the future as well as future projects from Slightly Insulting!
AUDITIONS AND DEADLINES
Before you begin auditioning, it is worth noting that I will be contacting all voice actors through Discord DMs and on the Corrupted Films Discord server. As usual, all cast members will be credited at the beginning and/or end of the film, so with your audition, please share your discord username in the format like this, e.g. 0n3Appl3™#1111 that way I will be able to send a friend request and begin work as early as possible.
The deadline for auditions is June 20th, 2021 @ 6AM NZST (Jun 19th, 2021 @ 9AM PDT). At the moment, there are no plans to change the deadline as the script is already prepared for release to the cast. I am pretty lenient when it comes to receiving lines, but for those who need a set deadline it would be awesome to have the lines by July 4th, 2021 @ 8AM NZST (Jul 3rd, 2021 @ 11AM PDT).
FILM SYNOPSIS
A murderer is under Robert's radar as a homicide took place under a one-lane bridge near the settlement where he lives. His investigation has put his life on the line to protect his people from total anarchy.

Robert is a retired detective with a keen eye on the world around him. His leadership and resourcefulness have helped re-build an entirely new settlement, despite showing his age. His skills are put to the test when he faces a murder case that puts his people on the line.

Nydia took matters into her own hands and showed persistence in fighting against the Redwood Collision terrorist group. After rescuing Denton from a near-death situation, she was determined to find a nearby place for him to recover from his injuries.
Personality: Caring, Fearless
Voice: Low-to-mid pitch

Hugo is a friend of Robert who has been around since the rebuild of a new settlement away from the big city. He takes security seriously to the point of paranoia, but Robert knows he has good intentions in wanting to help protect the people.
Personality: Mature, Serious
Voice: Moderately deep
