Hey guys! I am a HUGE fan of this amazing Anime, and have been wanting a dub of it to be made for as long as I can remember. Please keep in mind, this is all for fun! Nothing serious, If completed, it would be uploaded to YouTube. Please feel free to audition, you never know, you might have the PERFECT voice! <3
What I'll be needing from you is:
~ A decent quality mic.
~ Good acting skills
~ Dedication.
I haven't added Erika to the list for now due to the fact that I might go along with voicing her, but if I should change my mind, I'll definitely add her to the list. I'm really hoping you guys participate!

Yuu Kusakabe is an extrememly shy and withdrawn character, with very little confidence. He also is very negative. (Also very nervous. He mumbles and stutters his words sometimes.)
The character is a male, but the voice is one that can be voiced by either gender.
It's higher pitched than a usual male voice, and slightly lower than the usual female.
[Speaking slightly nervously.] S-Sorry.. My wallet... I'm so sorry. I'll fetch the money right away. What's your address? I'm sorry! We're not even that close, and I've caused you so much trouble..
Right. Thank you, S-Shinohara.
[Excited.] Shinohara! L-Listen Shinohara. I decided to say "good morning!" as loudly as I could to a few people. And, they actually said "good morning" back! Like it was normal! They didn't care about me one way or the other. [Calms down, but remains very happy.] You're right. Maybe I'm the one who was being too cynical. But I feel a lot better thanks to you, Shinohara.
[Gets very nervous again.] W-Well, I'll be on my way then...
[Extrememly nervous. Stuttering a lot.] Sh-Shinohara... Will you accept me? I know I-I'm not attractive compared to him...I... I can't say I'm better than him. But.. But I'd never make you cry or worry.. ever!
Three small boys who are found through some scenes playing soccer. They have very young voices, but are clearly male voices.
Next up, the knuckleball shoot.
You can do that? Hey girl! Can we have our ball? Just give us the ball already! Ball! Ball!
So uncool! You've got no control, mister.
Takeru Hibiya is an old friend of Sata Kyoya. He is very outgoing and makes friends with anyone easily. He is often quite loud, but is a very enthusiastic and fun character in general.
His voice is deepish, and he speaks with much emotion and excitement.
[Shocked] Are you okay?! Sorry.. I'm the one that kicked the ball! Really sorry!
[Speaking casually.] Well, I am really sorry about before. I'd never imagined it was your girlfriend I hit. [Says quite teasingly.] You've been such a stranger! When you get a girlfriend, you're supposed to tell your best friend right away!
[Cheerful tone.] I'm Hibiya Takeru. Pleasure to meet you! No, I've known him from middle school. We still run into each other now and then. We ended up in different high schools. Although Kyoya, if you had come to my school, you wouldn't have met your cute girlfriend! [A more serious, yet still playful tone.] If Kyoya ever makes you cry, let me know! I'll give him a pounding! [Laughs.]
Aki is a friend of Erika. Her best friend is Marin. She is also considered to be quite popular.
Her voice is pretty medium. Not too high, not too low. Doesn't speak with too much emotion.
You know? He bought another foreign car... Even though it's ridiculous to do Hikkaido in a car.
Your boyfriend sounds like a total dunce!
[Dull, bored tone.] What a creep. Men are so dumb. That's why they always want to do stuff out of a porno. Am I right?
[Slightly excited.] For real? Your boyfriend's pretty crazy, huh?
[Switched off tone.] Uhh.. Well, I guess you can afford to do that. My boyfriend's an adult, so he wouldn't do kid stuff like that.
Makes you wonder what the truth is, doesn't it? You either?
Yeah... It seems pretty likely. She's SO lying about having a boyfriend! Everything she says and does stinks. Those calls she gets every day too. She probably arranges them. [Laughs.]
Yoshito Kimura is a pretty nice, and kind guy, until his desire for revenge gets the better of him.
His voice is charming, Not too deep, soft-spoken guy.
[Angry.] Stop this! You're in high school. Stop acting like children, it's pathetic. And three on one? It's cowardly!
[Speaking more calmly.] You okay? I have a hard time letting that sort of thing go.I can't stand seeing kids pour water on ant hills either. Wh-What's your name? I'm Kimura. Class 7. You're in first year, right? We're in the same grade, so you don't need to be so formal.
Hey. No... I was waiting for you, Shinohara.I was worried they might come after you again. I was afraid I might have done something to make it worse. B-But it looks like everything's fine. I'm glad. Later!
[Frustrated, and embarrassed.] What am I doing?! Tell a guy stuff earlier. This was a waste of time and money. So anyway, forget all this, okay? Later!
[Shocked.] Sata?! Sh-Shut up! You're the one who stole MY girlfriend! Wh-What? You want to fight?
[Calm, being mean.] It's your fault for being tricked. I mean, how desperate for a man are you? I say a few nice things and you fall right for me. I'd never go for a girl as cheap as you.
[In pain, angry.] Th-That hurt! I thought you hated violence!
Marin is a friend of Erika's. She would be easily considered as one of the popular girls.
Her voice is high pitched and very girly, with a lot of attitude from time to time.
[Quite excited tone.] Tezuka! Same class, huh? How'd the graduation trip with your boyfriend go?
[Very excited.] For real?! That's hilarious! Mine bought me some hot lingerie to celebrate my first day.
[Normal tone.] Do men out of college really smell that old?
[Dull tone.] Ughh... So lately my boyfriend's been all, "Can I tie your wrists during sex?" Talk about a mood killer!
[Shocked, but excited.] Whaaat?! Erika, you've done it?!
[Normal tone again.] Oh? My boyfriend has been getting calls from Men's Magazines lately.
Yeah.. I've never seen him before. I ask her to show me a picture, and she says she doesn't have any. When I ask to meet him, she always changes the subject.
That's lame! [Laughs.]
Kyouya's mother.She only appears in the last episode. Very sweet woman, but not the most intelligent.
Her voice is mature, but slightly high pitched.
A pleasure to meet you, Erika! Thank you for coming all the way from Tokyo. I'm so happy! It's been a while Kyo, how have you been? I see, I see! Normal is good...
[Drunk, and very happy.] Hey, hey! Look! Mustache! She likes it. What about this? Bushy eyebrows! Don't say that... We're free and easy today.
[Slightly worried.] I got the strangest call from Erika... She asked if I'd come to watch the fireworks, but she seemed really upset and I got concerned...
Reika Sata is Kyouya Sata's older sister. She has a very similar personality as her younger brother.
Her voice is high-pitched and cute, but mature at the same time.
It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Sata Reika. Thank you for taking care of Kyouya. [Soft laugh.] You pretended like I didn't exist? Well, I live with our mother in Kobe, and I only come back here once or twice a year. Plus.. [Lowers voice a little] He never answers my calls.
Are you all Kyouya's friends?
Where's dad? Ever the workaholic, eh? It must feel so empty working for a family you never see. Well, it's good timing. I'll use dad's room then. I'm going to be here for a while because, sightseeing! I haven't been here in a while. I want to party till' I drop.
I can't wait to buy these! Wnat to sit down somewhere and eat? The park, maybe? [Super cute, and high-pitched.] So CUTE! Appearence approved!
A character that only appears once. Has very few lines.
His voice is very deep.
[Cheerful.] Reika dear, welcome here!
I had some business at the station, so I had Hitomi lend me her car! Oh, is this your little brother? Heh! MY! What a handsome young man! Mhhmmm! [Mutters to Kyouya.] If I weren't here on business, I'd make a pass.
Well, Reika. See you later!
The second main character. Kyouya is seen to have a "princey" image to all those who don't know him, he is also easily mistaken to be a model at times, however, he is a complete sadist. He treats others in a sweet manner, until they get too close to him, which is when he reveals his cold side to them. At first glance, Erika almost sees him as like a "Prince Charming", until his true colors show to where he blackmails and torments her, and makes her his "dog". Later on however, he develops a protective attitude to Erika, and gets easily jealous when she associates with other guys.
His voice is deep but soft. Monotone, preferably with very little emotion.
[Saying calmly, somewhat nicely.] Well? Do you need me for something? You're sweating a lot. Are you alright? I feel like there must be a story behind this. I'll listen, if you don't mind me hearing it. [Shocked.] Huh? You're the one who --
[Saying calmly.] The point is, you need me to pretend to be your boyfriend, right? So first... [His tone changes somewhat darker] I think you should spin around three times and bark. [Getting slightly impatient.] Come on. do it... [Back to the darker tone.] Pfft! What's with the slack-jawed stare? You didn't expect me to play along with this nonsense for nothing, do you? If I'm going to play along with your little farce, you're going to have to be my dog.
[His usual monotone, uncaring voice.] Hey. Give me your cellphone. Just do it already. You're the one at fault. Don't go wagging your tail for other men. Never speak to him again. Oh? Have you forgotten the position you're in? You're the dog. I'm your master. You have no power to refuse me. That's a good girl. Let's go home.
Nozomi Kamiya is a very excitable and cheery person in general. He is a playboy and is extrememly popular with the girls. Although he is kind, he has a harsh and cunning side to him.
He has a very soft voice.
[Says in a teasing way.] You don't like me sitting next to you? The pleasure is all mine, Erika. [Charming, yet cheerful.] I could never forget your name! Especially when it's a cutie like you!
Yeah, I was just tweeting. You should follow me.
Really? Too bad... Then you should tell me your number! But the moment I first saw you, I felt like we clicked.
Whoops! [Laughs.] I got him mad at me! I'll get your number later then. Let me introduce myself.
Oh, you know! Are you a fan of mine, maybe?
[A little more of a serious tone.] Hey, listen. Come hang out with me sometime.
Well, let's work hard together! So, let's finish this quickly and go out on a date.
Hey look, Erika! We're on the same team for orienteering. I guess it's in order of seats. The girls will look on this group with envy.
Ayumi has quite a few lines in the episodes and plays a big role in the story. Ayumi Sanda is Erika's best friend. She's the only one who knows about the "fake boyfriend" situation Erika is in. She is quite good at sports.
Her voice is medium/low. Quite a mature voice for her age, but quite soft as well.
[Slightly irritated.] Who are you calling "Darling"? You made me call you over and over! Do you realize what you did to my phone bill last month?! [More furious] I AM mad! How long am I going to have to play along with your lie? [Sighs, and calms down a bit.] Honestly. Just tell the truth already. You don't have a boyfriend, you've never even been on a date.
[Speaking normally, calm voice,] But you've got Sata, don't you Erika? Didn't he invite you anywhere? [Sighs] That's odd...I felt sure he'd find some reason to call you. Erika, are you pouting because Sata's not showing interest in you? Perhaps he's tamed your heart and you've fallen for him? [A little happier] It's just a joke. Why are you so mad? But, it's also possible Sata's fallen for you, Erika...
[Speaking casually.] You can't help that. You don't get to choose who you fall for...The heart doesn't always work the way you want it to. You should just follow your feelings honestly, you'll be happier that way.
