Project Roles: Xander Evan Shiloh

Xander is impulsive, excitable, and obsessed with the supernatural. Their biggest goal is to find definitive proof of its existence, which drove them to found Occult Casefiles, the paranormal investigation show they produce with Evan and Shiloh. They are stubborn and proud when it comes to this goal, and have a bit of a temper when things get in the way, but above all, they care very deeply for their friends and want to have adventures with them.

Ideally looking for a high-pitched or reedy voice. Xander could potentially be transmasculine and have ADHD or autism, though we will be working to develop final character designs in conjunction with the actors we cast. VAs of all identities are encouraged to audition!

  • (Angrily) What the hell do you mean, it was just the wind? You saw the EMF meter!

  • Oh my God! Quick, get your camera, this is amazing!

  • Evan, run! It’s coming!

Evan is calm and dependable. Unlike Xander and Shiloh, they do not believe in the supernatural, and are more interested in the investigation aspect of their paranormal investigation show than the actual “paranormal.” They like to explore the world and find explanations for the things they don’t understand. They keep the others grounded, and though they aren’t the best with emotional conversations, they’re a great friend. Eventually, they discover they are a medium with supernatural powers, which will be a major plot driver.

Can fit any voice type. VAs of all identities are encouraged to audition!

We are looking for Evan to be played by a person of color!

  • I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I’m just not convinced.

  • We’ll be fine. If anything comes near you, I’ll make it wish it’d stayed dead.

  • How can you say that? I’m doing this for you!

Shiloh is a serene, kind-hearted individual. They are easily flustered and startled, but perfectly capable of taking care of themself. They’re a people-pleaser and the emotional support figure of the group, and tend to put the well-being of others before their own. They adore history, poetry, and anthropology, which affects how they view the supernatural—they view ghosts, as the departed souls of humans, with reverence and respect, but have a deep fear of inhuman monsters.

Can fit any voice type. VAs of all identities are encouraged to audition!

We are looking for Shiloh to be played by a person of color!

  • I don’t know how I feel about this, guys. Are we sure this is legal?

  • There’s so much history in this place… I can’t believe they just let it go to rot.

  • Don’t you dare. Just because I’m not yelling doesn’t mean I’m not angry.
