Nouscraft Beam POV
Project Overview
This audition is for the Nouscraft saga book 2. Beam is a major POV character and is new to the saga starting in book 2. Beam will continue to play a major POV in book 3, which isn't finished yet.

💰 The approximate word length for her POV is 50000 words, which equals 5 hours of recorded material. Roughly $400 USD per finished hour.

About the character:
Age - 35
Think of Beam as a female version of Mark Whatney from The Martian by Andy Weir. She's witty, funny, smart. On the inside, she is uncertain about making decisions without her mentor Dafeng around. But everything she says on the outside drips with charisma and charm. She does not use curse words, and often comes up with things in their place.
Beam is a non-combative type of person, and she is very charming. Her choice of mind reading over combat abilities immediately establishes her as someone who wins through understanding rather than force. In my head, I want to make readers think she'll face impossible odds with humor, ingenuity, and relentless optimism.
I'm open to hearing your interpretation. The only accents I would accept for Beam are various American, English, or Asian American accents.
