  • Casting Update (Voices and Crew)

    Hello everyone! The project has been going along great, so I am really happy about that. The update today is mainly about the voice actors. I have gotten so many talented voices so far that this may be very hard to choose from! We also have many people cast for the general crew! My only concern is the lack of male voices. We have many female voices but only a few males, so if anyone knows of a male voice actor who may be interested in auditioning, please let me know! ^^ Thank you for your time, and have a great day!

Lily’s life is mostly unknown to everyone. Nobody notices her around which leaves her to be a shy and quiet person. Although she seems to always be blue, she does have a nice side to her. Her laugh is a rare thing even for herself, so she is always quiet when laughing. She is scared to try new things that she thinks are dangerous or are completely new to her. She will always try to push people away if she thinks that is the best option, but if she feels comfortable around people, she will take time to get close to them.

Her voice ranges from medium to high-ish pitched.

Oliver has been with Lucas sense Elementary school and eventually became friends near the end of the year they met. Oliver knows a lot of Lucas’ problems and will always tell others if they have questions on what might be wrong with him at times. He is trustworthy, but he is also recently been a more monotone serious guy. He is straightforward with a lot of things, and open to others ideas.

His voice is can be whatever pitch.

Ashley is the nicest girl you could ever meet. She always wears a smile and is actively looking to help people, as she is also in the Helping Hands Club. Her attitude depends on what person they are around, like a jerk or a friend. She never hates people who are jerks to her, but at least try to avoid future arguments with one person. She always tried talking to Lucas whenever they see each other in the hall, but in the past, Lucas was never really a talker and they ended up only talking a few times.

Her voice can be any pitch.

Felix is a liar of sorts. He is known around school as the messenger bird, but he is more like a blue jay. The reason for that is because he is a deliverer of messages of all sorts, but sometimes depending on how he feels, he might change the message for his own gain, sometimes because of personal matters. His odds of doing something like this are actually more thought out than some might think. Some people say his odds are 50/50, but it all depends on how someone may treat him in return. Overall he is ominous and sometimes scary to talk to, though he has a small fun side to him that he may show sometimes.

He can be any pitch.

  • (Powerful/Aggressive | Statement) "Tell you what? Let's just forget that this ever happened, and you just go home like you missed your bus again."

  • (Careless | Statement) "I only make deals that sound like there is a meaning behind them, so this just sounds like another bad idea."

May is a nice person and likes to express themselves a lot. Although she is super open to a lot of things, she tries to stay out of trouble a lot. She could be considered the comedic side to the story as a character who is “all over the place” 24/7. If she is stuck in a rock and a hard place, then she might fail to function on her own and just listen to whatever they hear first.

Shane could be considered worse than Felix, for he is a general bully to people he does not like. Every time he is rude to someone, it seems like he is just trying to get out of their way, not the other way around. He ignores people besides Rose, who he has been friends with sense middle school. The worst he has ever done to people is just yelling at them until they left him alone. He is distant but does not let people get close to him.

Rose is another nice girl, but sometimes seems to have her mind drifting into space. She always thinks about her life and others, but does not seem open to sharing her thoughts. She has stuck by Shane for a long time, but first tried talking to him in Elementary, which didn’t work until Middle School. She tries to calm Shane down if he gets mad over small things, but she can’t help him if it’s about something big. She is distant but still tries to help people with a smile. 

She can have any pitch.

Lucas' Parents

Lucas has lived most of his life with only his mother. I decided not too long ago that we will have both voices needed even though the father will only appear is some spots. The mother's personality is strict and known to follow a plan as much as possible or see things through. She cares for Lucas, and she says she knows best for him, but Lucas sometimes sees differently from her. The father is just about the same but was calmer. Use the same voice lines for both the mother and father.

You have to sound old enough to be some form of a parent, but you don't actually have to be that old.

  • (Calm/Supportive | Statement) "My father always used to say, 'do unto others before they do unto you.' So treat them how you want to be treated before they get the wrong idea."
