I want to stress the importance of these characters.
Detective Sarah Hanson shapes the outcome of the story. She becomes Detective McCoy's partner and shows incredible character development.
Mr. Jackson, while a minor character, would benefit any voice actor as his serious tone reflect his fragile nature-whoever gets this role will be demonstrating range and confidence with a character.
Detective McCoy is the lead role. He is your classic noir detective, grim and serious. Angry at the world and... at himself. Can be either female or male.
The world order says it's evolution, as if zombies are just another species. They live, they die and they commit unspeakable crimes... sounds human to me.
I blame myself, yes, it is entirely my fault. I tore families apart. So how can I sleep soundly at night, you may ask? I don't.
Detective Sarah Hanson is a supporting role. She is a meddling private eye, who always seems to get in the Detective McCoy's way. Whether with a case, or his love life. Should be able to play obnoxious and serious.
I don't remember much but I remember flashes right before I became a zombie. Right before I died.
As long as you're on the job, I'm on the job, until the mayor says otherwise.
I was aiming for his head.
The Captain is a supporting character and looks out for McCoy. He is a stale character, he has no development, he is caring but stern.
I fought for you, McCoy. If it wasn't for me, you'd have been fired long ago.
But they weren't killing, were they? They were evolving. That's public opinion. That doesn't mean that's my opinion.
It doesn't matter now. Zombies may be evolved, but we're not that evolved. City councils still make decisions like this.
Daniel Trebeck is a minor role (for now). He is a scared, timid man who fears the outside world. He stays in his room, a shotgun to his side and is paranoid.
I've been around long enough to know when a man's been bit.
A minor role. She is the murder victim's sister. She's grieving and doesn't know what to do.
He was all I had left.
You don't think I had something to do with this?
If only I could have done something
Mr. Jackson is a minor role. He is a serious man who lost everything-- and is Detective McCoy's landlord.
Everyone loses someone in this world. Even their best friend.
Get me the rent by the end of the week or you're gone.
Who else would have a human as a tenant?
