Captain Sullivan commands the Veridon Star. He is professional, composed under pressure, and trained to handle emergencies — but he is not in control of this situation. His single line is a distress call that gets cut off before he can finish it. The performance should feel urgent but disciplined — a man trying to hold it together on a open channel.

Unidentified vessel, this is the Veridon Star. We are currently under duress and request immediate—
Harlan Voss is a mid-level corporate executive aboard the Veridon Star who believes his title makes him the most important person in any room. He is not brave, not competent in a crisis, and not self-aware enough to know either of those things. He speaks with the confidence of a man who has never faced real consequences. The tone is dry, clipped, and faintly condescending — not loud, not villainous. Think middle management who just discovered he has power over you. Do not play him as a screaming villain. He should be quietly, infuriatingly smug.
Full role consists of approximately 143 words across two scene variations. All lines will be provided to the selected actor upon casting.

I'll handle this, Captain. Acting Director Harlan Voss, Hegemony Consolidated. I have been waiting over forty minutes for you guys to arrive.
Once this is resolved I'll need a full incident report. Form 27B/6. Standard procedure.
The Captain of a medical cargo freighter caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. He's not a villain — he's just a man trying to protect his crew and do his job. When a pirate corners him and demands his medical supplies, he calls for outside help. What seems like a straightforward rescue turns into something more complicated.
He's professional, measured, and tired in the way that people who've been doing a hard job for a long time get tired. Not aggressive, not panicked — just a man holding a difficult line. Think mid-30s to mid-40s, authoritative but not theatrical.
Deep to mid-range male voice. Grounded and pragmatic. No specific accent required. This character carries moral weight without melodrama — he's not entirely in the right and he knows it.
approximately 250 words / 34 lines for the entire Scene

Thank goodness someone responded. This scoundrel is trying to steal our medical supplies. If you can put a stop to it there's a reward in it for you.
(After hearing the pirate's side) "I believe them, Captain, I do. But if I start handing out critical medical stock because someone needs it more than me, I'm gambling with my own crew's lives. I won't do that. And I won't be threatened into it either.
Captain Reyes (Pronounced REESE) is the captain of a civilian cargo hauler who's been adrift for 30 hours after outrunning pirates. She's warm by nature — Southern, affectionate, the kind of person who says "you fly safe now" to someone who just left her to die. But she's been holding 27 people together on emergency power and she is barely keeping it together.
She opens desperate and grateful, cycles through negotiation and relief depending on the player's choices, and closes either with quiet devastation or the exhausted warmth of someone who just got a second chance.

Mayday! This is Captain Reyes of the Bernard Arthur. Oh thank God. Thank God. I need fuel — anything you've got. I've been on this channel for 30 hours and you're the first soul who answered. Please. I've got 27 people on this ship.
(Player declined to help. Sealing the fate of the Bernard Arthur and her crew) ...Understood. God. Okay.
Captain Harrow is a Republic Navy captain who's done his time, seen things he can't unsee, and quietly decided he's finished. He's not a villain — he's just a man who chose himself over the uniform, and he's trying very hard to make sure nobody notices.
When the player encounters him, Harrow is calm, friendly, maybe a little too friendly. He's a good liar, but not a perfect one — there's a tiredness underneath the professionalism that he can't quite hide. He knows he shouldn't be where he is. He knows the player probably knows it too. He's hoping neither of you has to say it out loud.
Think: a veteran cop who turned in his badge but kept the squad car. Polite. Measured. Just slightly off.

Well, this is a surprise! Good to see a friendly face out here. Captain Harrow, R.S.S. Reliant. What brings you to the edge of nowhere?
You got family back home, Captain?
Captain Yami has suffered a severe emotional trauma.
She is falling apart in this very sensitive scene that can play out in different ways based on player input.
She isn't the villain, she is broken in a way most don't understand.

Well, well. Another hero shows up. Turn around, stranger. This doesn't concern you.
I said LEAVE. You don't understand what's happening here. Just... fly away and forget you saw anything.
End it all? Yeah... yeah, maybe I am. Maybe that's exactly what needs to happen.
Captain Serrano has been around the galaxy in his many years hauling cargo.
He's seen many things and knows how things work out in the void.
What he wasn't prepared for was being held hostage by an unstable person who's crying out in pain.
He can see this person isn't motivated by greed or malice.
This is a scene dealing with sensitive topics.

I'm Captain Serrano, you need to help us. That ship over there - the Revenant - they've been holding us here for hours. We tried to run when our engines failed, but they caught us. They're... they keep saying they're going to kill us.
Please, you have to believe me. They're not stable. Something's wrong with them. They keep talking about... about wanting to 'end it all.' They're going to destroy us!
