Four Stages casting call emergency!!
Project Overview
Set in the distant future, a commune is home to an organization of domestic animals- all victims of suffering because of humans. New recruits are rescued from determined cases moments before their death and are given the opportunity to receive a unique ability and join the commune in membership to bring rightful justice to the world.
The plot follows a new recruit- Juniper, who discovers the endless possibilities of the commune and the secrets it's members keep. All in a critical moment for the commune's future.
Members are going missing, a medical mystery lurks through the sealed building and wind of rebellion is in the air.
The first half of this full-length film is estimated to be previewed late 2018/ early 2019. Currently the plan is to divide the story into four parts, each part filmed and put together in order.

Juniper is the character whom the story primarily follows. She is witty and thinks well of her self, although lacks experience to understand when showing her intelligence is appropriate. Over the course of the plot she struggles to find faith in the commune's cause because she sees the faults in it's structure and purpose. Juniper has little trouble talking to others however her sharp tongue costs her the chance to make close friends with many.
I remember seeing her on my first night here. She brought me something and I made a remark, though I can’t remember any details. (thinks, looking for excuse) They say I was still drugged. That’s probably it.
No, I’ve seen how things go, I’m not a fool. Why don’t you just leave me alone to deal with my own problems?

Cate

Commitment- leader of WAIA
Cate never wanted to be in charge of the commune, she only continues her role because of the sense of duty and debt she has to WAIA's original leader. The story goes that he gave the last of his life to prevent her from dying so that she would be in charge of the commune after him. Cate was only about 14 at the time.
Cate is by far the youngest character. Despite this, she is unbelievably mature and well spoken. She leads the commune with justice and iron command, demands respect and gets things done. Her young age gives her few difficulties at first, however as time goes on it is seen that the pressure is getting to be too much to handle.
Had I a say in the matter, things would be significantly different, but I respect Huron’s decisions as if they were my own. I wait for my example to burn truth into the flesh of those doubting my power Count, pray you not forget it.
Your memory- I take it has returned? It’s a relief to see a recruit able to speak within hours of arriving, but one with fiery words is a rarity. Tell me, what potion of Daphne’s did you drink to make your tongue as sharp as a stick? What is your philosophy?

Hazel is a very young member who seems to have several medical conditions which delay her procedures and affect her later on. She is single minded and takes things seriously. Is genuinely concerned about things, especially if it affects her or those who are important to her directly. She isn't good at much however doesn't try to make it seem that she's capable of more than she is. In an affair with Count, she struggles with change- especially when personalities are concerned. She is terrified of being left alone and clings to those who are near her.
(Stunned) Juniper!! I can't believe it- they've moved me to tech! I've been upgraded!
(Caring)How are you feeling? Besides the head... that'll go away in a couple days. (Kindly, shy) I tried to make things welcoming. Brought some things of my own.

Count is a member who is in an on and off affair with Hazel, Juniper's best friend from her arrival to the commune. Count lacks personal opinions on matters- he doesn't question authority for the purpose of promoting himself. He is dedicated to working towards receiving a higher end job.
Rights aren’t always justified. You have a brain- don’t you? Use it. Listen to those who’ve been here longer than you. We know how things go around here.
Wit gives off little to those who use it carelessly here. If I may suggest, keep you tongue on the roof of your mouth when near Cate.

Commitment- Cate's personal assistant, notable past council member
Marvel is Cate's most trusted assistant. There is little information given about him in the plot, however it is understood that for some reason Cate tends to keep him near her. He isn't much of a talker, however he seems to have a connection with Cate as he jumps in whenever she needs help and takes over things. Marvel, although mysterious, is respected in the commune because of the many things he accomplished.
We need you. You’re more important than you think you are Juniper -everyone we save has their importance to us.

Commitment- Tech Dept. Dispatcher and intercom worker
High up in the rankings of the tech department, Garnet is a hard worker who is dedicated to the cause. She was once Stone's wife and continues to have a close bond with his adopted daughter Akira.
Garnet wants to take every chance she gets to prove to management that she can be in charge of the tech department.
My days consist of listening to their cries of punishment over the intercom. If you think your howls compare to those of low-workers at night, you’d be mistaken.
There's a flaw in the contact system, by the looks of it extending as far as sub-tech eight. A damage like this can put us out of connection for at least another couple of hours.. that's only if things go as planned.

Oleander has no difficulty fitting in to his comfort and taking advantage of the little power he has. He is very determined of achieving higher ranks and is used to getting the things he wants, even if it means being a traitor.
(Falsely) Of course my lady.
Your things are to be kept inside the storage unit until management sees fit. You're lucky I'm here to warn you before you get in trouble.
(sarcastically) I think I've got it from here, haven't you got more important things to do? Like folding napkins maybe?

Commitment- Temporary superior of security
Gentle, modest and hardworking, Akira has great potential which is seen by several members. Her father Stone, however, emotionally abuses her to the extent that it significantly affects her future. The comfort she is given by Garnet isn't enough to suffice her needs.
(Crying) How dare you speak to me like this? What did I ever do to you? I just don't understand.
(Gentle) You'll tell me if something was wrong with her, wouldn't you? Wouldn't you???
If Cate believes I am fit, it must be true.
