Nightmare's Tale is an animation series involving the Dream World wanting to come to the Real World.
Jay is straightforward but also silent.
"W-where am I?......Why am I here? What is this place?!"
"Why are you always here......no matter what, when I come back here......I always see you here.....why is that?"
"Sorry, but I am trying my best here. I didn't mean to open the damn portal!"
Frost is a friendly--most deadly--demon in the Dream World. He is curious about the Human World that he wishes to escape. And once he meets Bluejay(Jay for short) he finds it as a chance to escape and tries to befriend the human.
"Trust me, I tried to escape here many times before, they never worked. How can you come to this world that generates the dreams?"
"What?! How can you speak to him?! He's the most silent demon out of all of us, and you managed to get a word out of him?"
"Be lucky I was here to see you first. If I was any other demon....you'd be dead by now."
This character doesn't have that much of a human voice. Basically it's modified to a raspy, but deep voice that fits as a demon from a different world.

"You think you can escape here? This place is BUILT to trap the human insanities into a world that would destroy the human mind."
"I'm not interested in human affairs. Don't drag me into them, got it?"
Lucifer is a sadistic character who practically enjoys the suffering of others. His voice can make a person think that he's a snake, but sometimes his voice needs to have the demonic aura.
"Why is there a human here?"
"To think you're brave enough to speak up to me......How bold of you."
"Bring him to me.....for his power could allow me to escape this wretched world."
Appollyon is a cocky character who somehow manages to get the deals he wants.
"The name's Appollyon, but you may know me by other names...hahahaha."
"The King huh? What business do you have with him?"
"I'll make you a deal....How about after I help you, I can have a little of your life span."
Sita is a character that happens to be a beast untamed.
"Oooh A Newcomer.....wait, it's not like the others....Even better..."
"I just want a little snack.....ugh you're no fun Appollyon, I swear."
"To think a human can reason with a monster like me."
Jake is Jay's friend.
"What are you hiding?"
"If you're going to be so secretive, then don't bother asking me for help."
"Where the HELL have you BEEN!"
Michaela is really shy and isolated. She isn't a demon, rather a spirit trying to find out what happened to her in the past for her to move on.
"What is a human doing in the dream world?"
"Oh this?......it was an accident that happened long ago....."
"I'm sorry....I can't help you,"
A Witch
"Weheeheehee....I'm just joking with you. Anyways, what do you need?"
" Sure, a potion like that is easy to make.....under the right price."
"I don't need money, I can get that in town with those losers....what I want is something more important."
Delilah is a demon who feeds off Human Joy. She doesn't know how to make a human happy though.
"Welcome to the Dream World......mind if I haunt you for a bit...hahaha...."
"Whatever, it's not like it's a one in a lifetime chance to have a taste of human life...."
"Suck the Fun out of everything. Why don't you?"
Lilian is a spirit lost in her own guilt.
"Oh I'm sor-...you're the human everyone's been talking about."
"I shouldn't.....it's against the rules."
"No, I can't......I might never be forgiven"
Katherine is Jay's little cousin who bosses him around. She imprinted on Jay as her big brother ever since his family decided to take her in.
"Come ON Big Brother, you'll be late AGAIN."
"Ugh you're hopeless! Don't blame me if you get detention for being late."
"See! It wasn't so bad.....hey are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost"
Savannah is an expressionless girl who tells fortunes as a hobby in her school. She meets Jay and finds his future intriguing and decides to be beside him.
"Oh dear.....I see.....you're suffering deeply."
"You're future has been set.....and it says you won't live as long...."
"My fortunes are never wrong.....you just deny the fact of you're future being set in a negative direction."
Complete Tsundere.
"Just eat the stupid lunchbox!"
"So...what do you want for Christmas? I-I mean, It's not because I care about you...it's just that...it wouldn't be fair to just give Katherine a present, that's all!"
"Really!-I mean-yeah sure. Whatever....it's not like it's a date or anything..."
He's the kind of bad boy type that would hang around school and skip class. But not very reliable to keep anything, since he's basically money hungry.
"Strike a deal with me and I think I may help you with your problem,"
"Chill out! All this dream stuff is already sounding crazy as it is. Geez..."
"Like anyone would believe you, you already sound like a lunatic."
Piper is a counselor, a special one in fact.
"Yes, I'm your counselor. I've been getting reports from your guardian and teachers that you've been talking...unreasonably lately."
"I'm sorry to say this, but you have no right to leave so suddenly. I give you permission to leave, and that is that."
"Take these medications and the dreams will stop. I'm sure it's just a nightmare."
Fiona is mean and hard to like. But once you grow into a bond with her, you can see the kind side of things.
"Look Jay, I'm not looking for someone to babysit. So run off and clean like you're suppose to."
"No one would believe that crap you're spitting on about. Just give up and clean runt."
"Again with that? Go home, I'm tired of hearing these childish problems. Come back when you're less crazy, alright?"
