Project Overview
DISCLAIMER: The story contains heavy language, depression, self harm, violence, shipping, intimate relationships, and overall suffering. If you're not comfortable with those topics, you've been warned.
A financially-struggling college girl becomes roommates with an edgy and unusual boy in a world where humans and creatures do not get along AND there's a prophecy that only points to the end of everything. How can they stop the apocalypse if they can't even pay rent?

Requirements
You MUST have Discord. This is just to make it easier to contact everyone at once.
you must be at least 13 years old or older.
You must have a good microphone. No background noise or muffling please.
Please put emotion into your audition.
Please be committed. This will most likely be a long term project so be ready for that.
If you are casted, try to get your lines done on time.
Recommended but not required

-Make sure you speak clearly. I want to be able to understand what you are saying.
-feel free to adlib a bit. Read the full lines first but if you want to add something to them then go for it.
-put emotion into your lines. You're playing a character with feelings and personality, not reading a book.
-please say each line at least twice using a different way of saying it each time. Whether it be a different voice ore different form of emotion.

Lotus is a very sarcastic and iconic mute. His muteness is willing muteness so he can talk but doesn't normally like talking. He only talks to certain people he trusts (mostly Will and occasionally the rest of the main cast). Although he can be rude at times he's very caring, protective and lovable.

Edge (no, that's not his real name) is Marshie's edgy, emotionally and physically scarred roommate. He's rather odd looking too, not really resembling any single creature species, looking more like a demon. He's usually very hot headed and constantly agitated (one of those people with resting bitch faces), but he's actually going through a lot underneath and is rarely seen happy. The only time he's really seen smiling is with his girlfriend, Valerie, or whenever he's drinking boba. He really loves boba and milk teas. Not only that, but from how little he actually talks about himself, he's not very egotistical and can often move into sarcasm to try and hide...something. Edge also very mysterious in what he is as well as his own abilities.
NOTE: If you're auditioning here, there are a few other requirements that are necessary to really dig into the character. 1) You should be able to speak or research on speaking Latin and Mandarin. 2) Be a decent to good singer. He has a nice voice and that will be covered in the story. 3) Don't be uncomfortable by acting out gay scenarios. Edge struggles with understanding his own sexuality, and may go into one or two homosexual relationships in the comic. And 4) Be prepared to scream in pain, because unfortunately he suffers way too much.
YOU WILL BE SWEARING A LOT IN THIS ROLE, BE OKAY WITH SWEARING (no censoring for major arcs!!)

Xero is one of Marshie's neighbors. He's not the brightest crayon in the box, and is more confused on what the hell is happening than anyone else. Still, he's a colorful and cute individual and more of a romantic than anything else. He thinks with his heart more than his head in other words. He has sound morals, but can be stupid on instinct due to how much he cares about his friends and those close to him. It has been confirmed that he's also dense when it comes to recognizing others' thoughts on him, but he's quite expressive when it comes to his thoughts on Edge specifically. However, he to has parts of him that he hides because he fears the responsibility that may follow him from his past.
NOTE: If you are auditioning for this role, be willing to voice act being a part of 1) a homosexual relationship, 2) the suffering of Xero and others around him (and his reactions to said suffering), and 3) singing, because his abilities in singing will be touched on in the comic.

Pixel is Xero's roommate as well as his best friend. They have a relationship much like that of siblings, although that doesn't satisfy Pixel. Pixel actually has a crush on Xero because of how close they have been for years. She's a cute girl and looks half her age. She's more of a Loli than anything else that loves ice cream and candy and sweets. Her dream is to have her own cafe and sell her own baked goods to others, as well as for all her friends to work there. She also wants to be a princess, and she's always ready to make someone look cute for her tea parties.
NOTE: She can also be very serious, so while you may have a cute voice planned, you should also have a similar serious voice for specific situations in the story. Also, you should still be able to portray many different emotions, especially heartbreak.

SiX is Edge's boss where he works. She owns her own shop and is a master of potions and poisons. She's also something called a Prophet; she can see into the future. But she won't tell anyone the future for a small price. Or for any price for that matter. She's strictly business when it comes to her job as a Prophet. But when she isn't acting as a Prophet, she's a goofy and squeaky-voiced potion maker. It's obvious that she's more knowledgeable than anyone else in the story on what's happening, and appears to even know more about the other protagonists than they themselves know about one another. She's the most mysterious of them all as well, having a ton of secrets of her own.
NOTE: SiX has two different sides of herself- a squeaky-voiced and fun side that is quite quirky and weird, and then a serious side that is actually a bit threatening and not as empathetic. Be prepared to have two different voices for both of these sides. Also be prepared to screech in joy, and her laughter is quite crazy. She also says 'ya ya' after many of her sentences when she's not serious.

Valerie is Edge's boyfriend and a successful young lady in the voice acting industry for cartoons and anime. She has millions of fans all over World Z because of her work, but that doesn't make her vain. She's actually modest, caring, and quite innocent. She believes there is good in everyone and that racism between humans and creatures is absolute nonsense. She's probably the nicest person on the entire team, and she rarely loses her temper. She herself, however, has her own sorrow that she has had to deal with, but she still never loses it and stays optimistic and positive, even in the face of adversity. You don't have to worry about swearing with this role, because she's so innocent that she hates swearing and corrects all her friends when they swear.
