NekoAma Pokemon Webcomic FanDub Mini-Short 1: A Sobble Story
Project Overview
In this fan-made Pokemon webcomic short, there was a young friendly Sobble who was pretty cautious, sensitive, and easily frightened. Unfortunately, Sobble's two best friends, Grookey & Scorbunny, both have more extreme and wild interests, one with a deep love for loud and fast-paced heavy metal music, the other with an athletic and competitive enthusiasm for playing sports, leaving Sobble to worry if he'll ever see eye-to-eye with his buddies that don't have the same viewpoints as him... Will the three Galar Starters be able to find an activity that's not too extreme and fun enough for them to all enjoy their playtime together?
(Note: I do not own this Pokemon webcomic short nor any artwork included in it. They all belong to a great artist who goes by the name of Nekoama, who's also well known for creating the popular fan Pokemon webcomic series Lil' Char & The Gang, a series which I've also done fandubs on before. (All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't really matter to me, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. In the NekoAma short, Sobble's personality is almost exactly like in the Pokemon games, a Water Lizard Pokemon who is timid, sensitive, easily afraid of extreme things, and cries easily whenever he's scared. He tries to play some games with his two Galar Starter buddies, but unfortunately, Grookey's extreme love for heavy metal music, and Scorbunny's athletic and energetic interest in playing sports aren't really making him see eye-to-eye with his friends... Will the three Galar Starters be able to make up a game that's calm enough for them all to enjoy?
For Sobble's voice, I'm looking for a high-pitched male-child voice. I'm actually looking for female V.As who can do children's voices, just like in the video game or cartoon voiceovers, or young male actors who still have their high-pitched child voice of their own for this role. Sorry, adult males. If you want to, you can try to sound similar to the Sobble voice in the Pokemon Anime, or just go for your own child voice you think suits Sobble! And because Sobble's from Galar, an American, British, Irish or Scottish voice will work just fine for this Pokemon!

This Grookey is portrayed as a playful young Chimp Pokemon with an intense love for heavy metal music. Unfortunately, when Grookey shares his passion for extreme rock n' roll with Sobble, Sobble's reaction wasn't the best... Will Grookey and Scorbunny both find an activity that they can enjoy with Sobble?
For Grookey's voice, I'm looking for a high-pitched male-child voice. I'm actually looking for female V.As who can do children's voices, just like in the video game or cartoon voiceovers, or young male actors who still have their high-pitched child voice of their own for this role. Sorry, adult males. If you want to, you can try to sound similar to the Grookey voice in the Pokemon Anime, or just go for your own child voice you think suits Grookey! And because Grookey from Galar, an American, British, Irish or Scottish voice will work just fine for this Pokemon!

Scorbunny is portrayed as a playful and energetic fire rabbit Pokemon with an athletic personality and a big love for playing sports. Unfortunately, whenever Scorbunny plays a game with Sobble, no matter how careful Scorbunny tries to be, every sport seems to end up with Sobble often crying in fright or fear. Will Scorbunny and Grookey both find an activity that they can enjoy with Sobble?
For Scorbunny's voice, I'm looking for a high-pitched male-child voice. So Scorbunny could sound a little bit deeper than Sobble or Grookey, but still sound like a pretty young kid. If you female actors want to, you can try to sound similar to the Scorbunny voice in the Pokemon Anime, or just go for your own child voice you think suits Scorbunny! And because Scorbunny is from Galar, an American, British, Irish or Scottish voice will work just fine for this Pokemon!
