Need voice actors for (relaively) minor roles in a podcast!!
Project Overview
Hello everyone! The title for this is pretty explanatory but I'll go a little more into depth here :)
The podcast follows the story of a college student who, on his way home for the holidays, meets a ghost on the train. The ghost pesters him to help them solve their murder and that's basically it
The two main characters (Spatz - yes I named them after myself just with a letter changed, it's a long story and I'm kinda too far deep to change it now - and Carl) are already cast as well as a few others so basically the only roles I'll be looking for today will be minor ones
as well as casting I'll be looking for an artist and Co-writer :)
I'll most likely be using Anchor to publish the podcast since I've used it before and it's easy.
I'm sorry to say but it will most likely turn out that no one in the cast or crew will be paid, as this podcast probably won't be making much if not any money at all. if there are any profits then yes of course I will pay the actors and co-writer but that Is honestly quite unlikely (unless we start a Patreon or Kickstarter or something I dunno)
please put your email and/or discord with your audition so I can contact you, thanks :)

I was hesitant to put a co-writer at first but I believe it would be better if I split the work up between multiple people, so here we are.
you will mainly be working on spacing out episodes (I have a problem with making them a little condensed up) and figuring out the finer details/how things happen (I tend to get too caught up on the "what") as well as actual scriptwriting.
basically everything I'm bad at.
Also, we'll need to discuss and critique each other's work before sending it out, possibly even write everything on a google doc so it's easy for one of us to pop in and tweak something - say one of us accidentally writes something that goes against already established canon (leave me a note if/when you do this tho)
sorry if any of this was obvious stuff I've never really worked on something like this with another person before so it's all quite new to me haha
Say something you think would fit
looking for someone who I can commission to make the cover art and other things along those lines :)
your social media will be linked near the beginning of the credits in the description for each episode and we can agree on a payment then if you would like to be paid that is (which I'm assuming is a yes but there is a possibility that you may not be able to take payment, and if that is the case we can probably come to some other agreement)
edit/update: I'm sorry but i will most likely no longer be paying the artist, I know that probably sounds ridiculous, however i believe that it would be at least a little hypocritical of me to pay the artist but none of the voice actors. Not to mention I'm not quite sure where I thought I'd get the money anyway.

(a german accent would be preferred but is not a necessity)
He’s/she’s/they’re relatively cheerful? I'd prefer for he/she/them to have a warmer voice but frankly, this is such a small role I don't mind too much
wake up bitch boy, your alarms been going off for like half an hour
(teasingly) you seriously still hanging around that guy? I would've dropped him by now - nay, way before now, wayy to passive-aggressive for his own good
(pause)
I'm not wrong though
I mean, if you're really that late I could always just send you your stuff tomorrow or something?
Carl's boyfriend, a reoccurring but most likely not that important character
mid-highish voice? he's nice just a little off somehow in a way that you can't quite put your finger on, like overall he's but there's just something about his voice, his face, the way he walks. he feels dodgy but you don't know why.
oh hey I got you some coffee on my way over
uhhh kinda busy that day, sorry. doubt I'd be in the mood anyway but thanks for the offer.
(reading out) among these festering beasts of dark and despair sits a single bare spot of tranquility, where the sunlight filters down through the gaps in the branches like shining golden butterflies and the peaceful flowing stream shines like a million tiny glistering diamonds -- (no longer reading out) and that's it so far, it's a little too sappy in my opinion but like what do you think
