Positions have been filled! Thank you all for trying out!
Sorry for the delay, but roles have now been confirmed.
I appreciate the interest this sill little project got, and all the best to everyone who had a go! ✌
UPDATE Jan 28th : Thanks to everyone who responded to this gig! Tbh, I wasn't expecting so many submissions, so it's probably gonna probably take a while to look them over but I'll try and confirm all of the roles by tonight, at my end.
Hi, I'm new to this place, but have worked with freelancers before.
I'm after American, English speaking Voice Actors only. Also, as I'm UK based, timezones might get in the way of response time!
PROJECT AND ROLES:
This short is a sequel about a minute or so in length and roughly 30 lines overall. It's absurdist comedy aimed at teens/adults, but majority of the dialogue is going to be played straight, the rest will be voice foley.
Looking for VAs to fill the roles of:
Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Obito, Madara, Sasuke
Minor roles:
Narrator, Pain (has only one line which requires yelling)
The characters don't have to sound authentic, but your chances will be higher if you can pull it off. If you also think you can play multiple roles, go for it!
Audition dialogue is based off the first Naruto video, so I'm not cheekily asking for freebies. Here's the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WefXTIZ1D0w

PAYMENTS, REQUIREMENTS, WORKLOAD, DEADLINE:
Paypal, upfront and must do an invoice before payment. If I have to pay through CCC, then we'll work something out, but will still need some kind of receipt.
Please have a good quality mic with pop filter and experience, preferably doing similar projects!
Maybe this is obvious, but please be able to read a traditionally structured script. Just have to put this here because it's actually been an issue in the past.
I'd like three different deliveries for each line. I've done this process in the past because it's a good way to save time on retakes (if any).
Deadline for the paid work will be around the start of February. Usually in projects of this size, it won't take long.
1 hour of work is the rough time-frame because the script covers roughly a minute or so.
I would like to go higher on my offer, but considering the amount of lines, this is the best I can do right now.

CONTACT:
Would prefer to conduct through emails, but it's not a deal breaker, I'm just very much used to this method. I'll contact those who bag parts anyway, and go from there.
I'll TRY and get back to those who didn't bag any roles as well, so I don't leave ya hanging. But after a week, assume you didn't get it, or plans changed at my end.
Response to auditions will be immediately after the deadline, as I do need to get the ball rolling once the script's tidied up.
Cheers and best, 👍

Hi again, folks,
I'm currently going through and confirming the roles as I write this update. You guys haven't made it easy! But if you get an invite or email, that means you've bagged a part (or parts)!
I haven't had to juggle with this many roles before, so apologies for late replies. I'll likely reach out through email or PM somewhere.
Cheers again, 👍
Thank you to everyone who tried out for the project!
Tbh, I was not expecting over 100 submissions, haha! Therefore, it might take a little longer to go through them all, but all roles will be confirmed by Jan 29th.
I'll keep you guys posted, 👍
Naruto, I cannot defeat them. They're the Saiya people.
Kakashi, you cannot defeat them. They're the Saiya people.
NOTE: You're gonna be repeating the same dialogue but in different ways for this character. Think of him as a Pokemon.
Sensei, you cannot defeat them. They're the Saiya people.
Kakashi, you cannot defeat me. I am the Saiya people.
Kakashi, you cannot defeat me. I am the Saiya people.
Sensei, you cannot defeat them. They're the Saiya people.
They cannot defeat them. They're the Saiya people, after all.
