Mysteries of the Dwemer - Skyrim Quest Mod
Project Overview
Mysteries of the Dwemer (name may change) is a mod centred around one NPC, a researcher of the Dwemer. He'll appear outside multiple Dwarven ruins and will explain parts of the Deep Folk's history in a digestible and interesting way for the player. As these encounters progress, he'll speak more and more of the race as a whole and eventually, how he believes they disappeared. This mod sticks heavily to TES lore and doesn't attempt to offer any definitive answers, so don't worry about that.
The actual character of the researcher is an incredibly unique and interesting one, with all his dialogue being carefully thought out to portray a unique angle to this NPC. There's clearly something more to the Researcher which can be uncovered as the quest progresses and the more the player speaks with him.

The currently unnamed researcher is the man NPC of the mod.
The Researcher is a rather unique character and so should sound the part. In my mind, he should have a calm and soothing voice, likely on the older side of things due to his character being fairly old. The accent can vary quite a bit but an English one would be prefered.
His overall tone of voice should be rather soft spoken but assertive, this should really sell the character as more than what meets the eye while providing an enjoyable listening experience. His exact race is currently undecided but he's some kind of Man race.Through out a lot of his dialogue, he should sound as if he's a lot more knowledgable in certain regards than he lets on, which will create an aura of knowledge through out the entire mod.

Kagrenac's Tools may be the cause of this plight, their architect was one of unparalleled mastery, and capable of terrible things.
Automatons perfect in their design were crafted, each minute detail precise and each mechanism optimised to its fullest.
Call it what you wish, but that is the truth. This knowledge I possess must be sifted through, refined, if I am to understand its fragments.
