MY 舞☆TONIGHT English Chorus (Love Live! Sunshine)

Project Overview

This is an English chorus of MY Mai Tonight (MY 舞☆TONIGHT)! I'm looking for eight strong vocalists to sing with me as soon as the off vocal and full song come out. I have self-casted as Chika.


I advertised on discord already, and I've received enough interest to form a chorus of 9 already. However, I wanted to see if anyone else was interested, so here I am! If you've already PMed me, there's no need to audition here as well. In addition, if you'd rather message my discord (✩Cookie✩#8425) and send any voice clip, that's also welcome!

I want this cover to be as professional as possible, so here are some general guidelines and rules:

-I will almost never cast a vocalist who doesn't use a mic, so please do the best you can to make your audio clip the highest quality it can be
-please don't cause drama. It's childish and honestly just really draining for everyone involved
-I might ask you to voice a girl you didn't audition for. If that's the case, you can decline, but please do your best to stay open to all roles
-if you are casted and don't turn your lines in, I'm going to have zero tolerance. Too often people hold up the project with excuses--I get that life makes recording hard sometimes, but please go in trying to do your best and willing to step down if you can't get your lines done

  • Audition lines have been changed again

    Sorry for the confusion, guys. In the end, you can sing any clip you want. I was trying to get this project recommended by making the changes castingcall wanted, but since it looks like that isn’t going to happen, you can just submit any clip!

You's voice is slightly cutesy and nasal, with a considerable amount of power behind it. She sings with a lot of vibrato, but in much smaller waves than Hanamaru and Mari--so it's barely noticeable sometimes. Above all, I'm looking for someone with a adventurous, energetic voice who isn't afraid to get loud.

Kanan's voice is thin and extremely nasal, but also has a mature, almost motherly tone to it. She doesn't sing with any vibrato, and hits high notes in a powerful, sharp way. Above all, I'm looking for a voice with a lot of nasal, but which is also caring and sharp.

Range: soprano

Chika's voice is energetic and high pitched. Like Ruby, she always reacts emotionally to the lyrics, changing her tone to be excited, sentimental, hopeful, whatever the song requires. Her breathing is often audible.
